Description of Work: My air conditioner was not running efficiently. We thought it needs replacement. After performing few tests it was found that the screen was clogged with dust and pet hair. The technician removed and cleaned the screen. We immediately were able to feel the cool air. Service was prompt and excellent. Money was well spent.

Description of Work: My only suggestion would be that customer be informed that he/she have a new filter ready to be installed by the service provider. Ours really needs two people to insert. (Or perhaps only one if it is the service provider who is used to all types of heater). But definitely recommend to customer that a new filter be there!!!!!!

Description of Work: After purchasing and scheduling the A/C inspection service from Angie's List, a young man from My Plumber CA came by to evaluate and provide inspection and light maintenance on my A/C and Furnace. After evaluating the furnace, he asked to check the thermostat. He couldn't turn it on and asked if I could, and to my surprise, it wasn't working. He said no problem, he had a replacement thermostat in his truck and could sell and install one. When he went to look for one, I went back to inspect the furnace and discovered it was unplugged, which was why the thermostat didn't work! I asked him about it and he looked embarrassed. He said he does this as a precaution when inspecting the furnace and simply forgot to plug it back in. He apologized and seemed sincere, but obviously my confidence in him was lost. After cleaning and testing the A/C, he informed me everything was working well and tried to sell me an expensive 3-year service package, which I declined.

Description of Work: Water heater flush done well priced good but billed $500 for part which web shown value @$50. Finally agreed to $200 very reluctantly. Could not or would not explain any parts/labor break down. Defiantly will never use again. I consider it as bait And switch dishonesty.

Description of Work: A- is my overall rating. The plumber did an excellent job and gave me some estimates for things that need doing, such as corrosion where the washer connects to the faucet, and cracking, stiff hoses connecting the washer to that faucet. Because they charge by the project and not by the hour, it would have cost me $435 for one hour's work. At that rate, I owe it to myself to get bids from other plumbers.
