Joshua's Pest Control

I absolutely love them. If anyone needs maintenance pest control Joshua's is the one to go with. They came on time. I had requested that they come for an afternoon appointment and they gave me a half hour notice that they were coming. The technician told me I had ants coming into the house and he sprayed around the house. I have not had a problem with ants since. I have problems with gnats, and he sprayed around the windows. He told me to put sand around the plants and the gnats will go away and the spiders. I did it and they have left. I liked those suggestions. He is personable, friendly and efficient. If I call about an ant or spider problem before, our scheduled visit, he comes out and takes care of the problem without charging me. They are reasonably priced and I have them on auto pay. We always budget for them. They are the best and I have a maintenance program with them.

It was excellent. We have a yearly quarterly thing with them. They are wonderful. If they do something and there's a problem, they will come back and do an area if something shows up. We can always count on them.

They are great. It has been a good reliable service. The price is affordable.

I have no complains or whatsoever. I like the way the young man come and prevent themselves at the front door. I have a locked gate and they patiently wait until I get to the gate. I have mouse traps around the yard because the neighbors are feeding strays outside. They like the idea that I show them various things because they are at hidden behind gates and wall. I do a walk through with them especially if I've not met the young man that happens to show up that particular day. I explain to them what I would like and they do a very thorough job on it then they come back on the front door to always present themselves. They looked like they've been dreamed up for this job because they are so nice and neat when they show up and they are the same when they leave. They go over various things because I have fruit trees and have lots of flowers. I mentioned to them where I have problems and they make sure that they go over their list with me very thoroughly. They are very nice young men that work for Joshua's.

I have used this service since 2009. We had a MAJOR ant problem and since I their service those little ants are on their way. They also offer to return free in case you have a problem twice a year. Due to the extreme heat, the ants appeared in my kitchen dining room. I called and they came out the following day. FANTASTIC SERVICE always. The office calls quarterly to schedule a date and the employee arrives as scheduled. They are always super pleasant and very efficient. They always ask if there is any problems that they need to be aware of and if I am satisfied at the end. I also have a rat trap out in the back yard which they tend to each time they come out. Mice/Rats what ever they are, love bird seed so the trap keeps a good handle on them.

Today's service provider was Brian. He was very punctual and efficient. The nicest people work for Joshua's. Whether it's the scheduler in the office, or the technicians in the field, they are always friendly, professional and efficient. The price I quoted is for bi-monthly service {every other month}. They will come back any time you need them during the period in between treatment.

The agent showed up on time, did the work quickly and the ants are gone.

Great they brought out a lot of bugs but hopefully they will be gone from now on. They provide quarterly service from now on.

Have had Joshua's for a year now. Great experience. Always calls ahead to schedule and is on time. Technicians always professional (unlike some other services we've used in the past) Consults on where to spray, and is thorough. Has been very considerate that we have a baby, and alters specifics accordingly. We recently had a spider outbreak between scheduled treatments, and was here in 2 days to re-treat.

It went very well. They were on time. The service provider was polite and neat. They preformed the required service very well. On the day of the service a courtesy call was made just after he arrived to confirm our agreement and talk me through what was going on and to give me instructions for what to do after they left. I have signed a contract with them to take care of any bug problems that may come up over the next year. They will return for maintenance three times during the year. They were all great.

Their rep returned my call right away and was very nice. Unfortunately this company only offers monthly maintenance service. I was initially looking for someone to come out to spray for ants on a one time basis. Wasn't able to use them.

When their office was initially contacted, their front office person on the phone was most helpful and had a very fun personality. She explained everything about their maintenance program, how much it was going to cost, that all of their products were "pet friendly", and if we needed some extra pest control treatments in between the quarterly treatments, they would be there for us at no additional cost. The technician arrived as expected, went over again the maintenance plan, and told us what he was going to do that day. All went well and we did not see any additional ant/spider activity, although we were advised that we might see some. The first of the quarterly treatments occurred in June and there have not been any ant sightings in the house. We are so very pleased with the work, professionalism, and friendliness of this business.

I was very impressed with the company from the first phone call. Friendly, personable and knowledgeable phone staff gave me a full range of options/solutions. Demetres was right on time, had everything he needed in the way of supplies and was very professional. The company's policy is to have the customer speak on the phone to the main office while the technician is there to be sure all is well. During the rodent exclusion inspection (a separate service I requested), it was determined that the house is infested with termites. Far from being an "up-sell", Chris was careful that I understood that this was probably a long-standing infestation (I have not done anything about termites for about 15 years because of a special coating designed to exclude them) and I should have an inspection but it was not a crisis. I have already scheduled a free inspection as has my neighbor (twin home) and Chris did not charge me for the rodent exclusion inspection because I had already found and stopped up the openings I think the mice were using. He did recommend that a tree be taken out as it was growing toward the slab under the house and would eventually cause cracking. I appreciated his concern for an area that is in no way related to the services of Joshua's Pest Control.

Before I hired them to do the job I checked out a couple of other company's. Harbor Pest Control had more professional paperwork of instructions, when they came to give me a bid, all they did was look at the bid this company gave me, but they could not do it for the same cost they were a lot higher priced, even though I think they are both high priced. Harbor left readable instructions if you had your home tented, in what to do. How to put your food in the frig and freezer into 2 bags and how to tie them separately, etc. This company's paper with this kind of instruction I could hardly read or make out the pictures, it must have been a copy of a copy or something, I was glad I had the other company's instructions.... to know what to do with pictures I could see, The man that came out to give me a bid was very nice and seemed to do a through job of looking for termites and damage, he crawled all around under my mobile home. The office gals were very nice...and lined my tenting up in no time. I was told the company would be at my house to start tenting in the am, so I left the night before so I would not have to get up so early and drive in the traffic to where I was going to stay, with my dog for the next 3 days it would be tented. I found out that they did not start on my house until that afternoon. I received an email from my neigbhors complaining about the big mess they had left from the tenting... and that they were going to take pictures... I guess they cleaned it all up before I went back there, because I did not see anything out of the norm. I was told my house would not be ready to move back into until 5pm on the 3rd day. They called me and said it was ready to go back into around 11am. I came home that night not thinking that I would not have any gas to have hot water, etc. Not the company's fault but the gas company's fault, I had called the gas company the day the termite company made arrangements to tent my house when they told me to call them to come back out to hook my gas back up. This was 2 weeks from the date they were to come back out to turn the gas back on..... I was able to get a morning appt between 8am - 12p. I called the gas company that am... around 8am asking if they could narrow the time down a little so I'd have an idea of when they were to be here to turn on the gas... they could not tell me, but it would be before noon. I called them again at 12pm... after no one had shown up... they said I had a afternoon appt and would be there before 4pm! I was very upset by this time. The gas women finally showed up at 2pm, ... this was not right, since I needed to take a shower and get ready to take my father out. Then the gas women started inspecting all my applicances... OH boy... there was something wrong with 3 out of 5 of them! She would not turn my gas back on to the furnace or water heater, saying the gas line from there was to old... I said they worked fine before the gas was turned off! Then she said my dryer had the wrong dryer vent hose... and wrote me up for that also. Thank Heavens there was nothing wrong with the stove or oven! So now I had no hot water and it takes 40 mins to heat up... and I'd been working my guts out trying to unpack all these bags of food plus cleaning, etc... so I had to clean up the best I could before going to pick my dad up for dinner... he is in a wheel chair and so looks forward to going out... so I could not cancel on him. I turned my own water heater back on and then the next day got a new gas line/hose for both and had a friend come over and change them.... what a hassle! One thing that these company's do not tell you.... packing up all your stuff, it's a HUGE job .. just like moving! I still have bags to unpack... and I have no idea of how it all fit before... ;-) I had to ask people if they could take some of my freezer food, since it all does not fit back into the freezer in a big bag. The icemaker was full and I can not remove the huge ice tray to empty it, so I had to run it all through the ice crusher in the door to get it out, an idea this company gave me when I called them to see if it was safe to eat/drink... so I would not have poison in my ice. All in all the office gals were nice enough to talk with me and answer my questions when I called a few times. They sent plenty of bags for all my stuff. They said I did not need to bag up any of my face creams, hand lotions, etc.. but I figure if they are going on my skin they will go into my system... so I bagged all... My biggest concern about this tenting ... was and I expressed this a great deal to the office gals... I had always heard you should not walk on your mobile home roof to much or it may start to leak.... The office girls told me they passed it on to the crew and that they are very careful.... I guess I will see this fall when the rain starts in... I also have some dry rot under my mobile and they wanted 5000.00 more to fix that... No thanks ... that is way to high! One other thing, when the man went under the trailer to spray the next day after the tenting... I asked him... to please check for any dead animals that may have been under there during the tenting... he said he did, but did not see any...... the day after he left... OH boy... smell...something was under there when it was tented and killed it....so my house smelled very very bad for approx 2 weeks! Sure glad it was not a skunk! Lets hope the termites do not come back after all this! .-) All in all they seem like a good company. I would recommend them because their prices seem to be the best and they were fast to schedule my appointment and complete the work.

Joshua's Pest Control charges us quarterly. They always respond promptly, they are polite and communicate well.

They come out every three months. They always tell me to call them if I have a problem. They are amazing. They are great.

It was great. Leo added the bait boxes and made sure that the two we had were full. I wanted to have the interior sprayed with this visit. However, we were not able to do the interior of the home treatment this time because of a new recommendation that they spray and then you must vacate the premises for two hours. We have rescheduled that treatment, however it was nice knowing about this new requirement. Thanks to all of the great people at Joshua s Pest Control. They have been protecting our home for 3.5 years; and our previous home for about the same length of time! We have a quarterly service, and there is no charge if insects are seen and you need service in between visits.

I continue to use Joshua's Pest to routinely service our property. They call and schedule appts at convenient times for me on a quarterly basis. They are always here on time as scheduled and provide the service as expected. I have arranged with the company to have the same technician service my property. Due to having a pool in the backyard we have a locked gate. Because of the confidence I have in the regular technician I have shown him how to access the property when I am not home. I will continue to use this srvice. In addition they will come at no charge to service the property inbetween scheduled visits, if requested due to a special problem. I have requested this a couple of times and was equally pleased withthe service.

The service couldn't have been better! After arriving the technician gave me a detailed run down on what to expect during the service. During his visit a representative from the company called to welcome me, see how things were going, and to answer any questions I had. This kind of superb customer service will make me a loyal customer!

We are in Joshua's regular coverage plan which costs something like $99/quarter and are consistently satisfied with their services. We hired them originally to take care of an ant infestation, and they did it well. They are always responsive to our concerns to minimize the impact of pest treatments on the harmless insects and creatures in our yard. Recently, we heard rodents in the house, so we gave them a call. Although our plan did not cover treatment for rodents, they took care of this problem without added charge, on the grounds that we have been good customers for a few years. They maintain information about our house -- such as that we have a pet frog in the house -- and print it right onto the work orders provided to their technicians, so that their technicians can choose the right treatments and so they don't have to keep asking us the same questions over and over. The people who answer the phone and the technicians who come to our house are always pleasant and helpful.

We had gophers terrorizing our lawn and hill for over a year. I tried as many DIY methods as I could find but none were very effective. After calling several gopher companies, Joshua's came in with the lowest price. Since EPA regulations require them to all use the same basic method, I figured there wouldn't be much difference. The tech was able to get started right away (some other companies sent out estimators only and we would have had to schedule the first appointment), and allowed me to follow him around asking as many questions as I had. The follow-up visits were scheduled the next day when a customer service rep called me - it was a breeze. I wasn't around for either of the follow-up visits, so they left a visit receipt on the front door. I was fully expecting to have to call them back after the third visit to treat some new mounds, but we're now three weeks past the final visit and I haven't seen a new mound since! The only reason I rated quality a 'B' is that after the first visit, I discovered the product they use is readily available over the internet. I'm glad I had them out, and they did a great job, but I guess I expected them to have some sort of proprietary gopher killer formula.

It went great. The technician, Mark V., arrived punctually and discussed the problems I saw with the insects. He professionally and thoroughly explained the process and the cost after a walk-around my property. Before he started his work, he had the office call me to explain the process again, and I agreed to have the services of Joshua's Pest Control for the next year.
