We are in Joshua's regular coverage plan which costs something like $99/quarter and are consistently satisfied with their services. We hired them originally to take care of an ant infestation, and they did it well. They are always responsive to our concerns to minimize the impact of pest treatments on the harmless insects and creatures in our yard. Recently, we heard rodents in the house, so we gave them a call. Although our plan did not cover treatment for rodents, they took care of this problem without added charge, on the grounds that we have been good customers for a few years. They maintain information about our house -- such as that we have a pet frog in the house -- and print it right onto the work orders provided to their technicians, so that their technicians can choose the right treatments and so they don't have to keep asking us the same questions over and over. The people who answer the phone and the technicians who come to our house are always pleasant and helpful.

We had gophers terrorizing our lawn and hill for over a year. I tried as many DIY methods as I could find but none were very effective. After calling several gopher companies, Joshua's came in with the lowest price. Since EPA regulations require them to all use the same basic method, I figured there wouldn't be much difference. The tech was able to get started right away (some other companies sent out estimators only and we would have had to schedule the first appointment), and allowed me to follow him around asking as many questions as I had. The follow-up visits were scheduled the next day when a customer service rep called me - it was a breeze. I wasn't around for either of the follow-up visits, so they left a visit receipt on the front door. I was fully expecting to have to call them back after the third visit to treat some new mounds, but we're now three weeks past the final visit and I haven't seen a new mound since! The only reason I rated quality a 'B' is that after the first visit, I discovered the product they use is readily available over the internet. I'm glad I had them out, and they did a great job, but I guess I expected them to have some sort of proprietary gopher killer formula.

It went great. The technician, Mark V., arrived punctually and discussed the problems I saw with the insects. He professionally and thoroughly explained the process and the cost after a walk-around my property. Before he started his work, he had the office call me to explain the process again, and I agreed to have the services of Joshua's Pest Control for the next year.

I called Joshua's Pest Control after consulting Angie's List, and noted that they listed GOPHERS under pests! Yes, I have a problen with those very cute,very pesky, extremely destructive little critters. The person who initially returned my phone call was delightful. I made an appointment for a consultation and she actually arranged a phone call to let me know an hour before the technician was going to be at the house so that I could leave work and get home in time to meet with him. Within ten minutes of my arrival home, the technician, Joshua, arrived, and proceeded to examine the damage with me. He explained why he thought we had such a problem (new lawn, nice soft dirt--AH HA), and what could be done to eliminate the problem. He carefullly went over all the details of the process, including the follow up visits and 60 day guarantee, and the cost. He then said, he could do the first treatment "right now'----WOW !!! It took him about 15 minutes. Unbelievable! This guy was so nice, polite, on time and then to have the process completed on the same day! What a time saver for me--I went right back to work!I was also told by Joshua that if I saw more activity after a 7-10 day period to call right away, otherwise the technicians would return for two scheduled two week follow-up visits. The next day I received a phone call from a lovely woman from Joshua's Pest Control, to set up those two follow up appointments. Now for the true test of "do they do what they said they would do?" OH YES THEY DO!!!I found new gigantic mounds in the backyard 11 days after the first treatment. These gophers are brilliant! I called Joshua's and reported my findings. I received a phone call back the same day, and had a visit within a few days from another outstanding technician (Bill), who treated the spots again.THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY EVER!!!!! I told all my friends and family!!

This was a new place for us. Joshua's knocked on the door a week before we moved in and explained their service. They offered a special rate, but we had to sign up for a year in order to qualify for the special rate. Thus, we signed the contract, and Joshua's began its treatments. After the first visit, however, we had a major ant problem. The company responded by placing glue along the bottoms of the kitchen cabinets, but it didn't help at all. Ultimately, we decided not to renew our contract, and we had no further ant problems within a couple of weeks of doing so. Now we are left with ruined walls and cabinets from the glue that Joshua's used during its visits.

Our technician, Tony, was cheerful, professional, and knowledgeable. He was also efficient. We don't always have the same technician every time (we have an annual contract), but generally all the technicians have been good. Tony went a step further in talking to us and explaining his work.

They do a pretty thorough job. They alter their chemicals every period. If I have any other problems they are responsive. They are pretty good with price. I haven't had any problems. They call ahead of time when they are about to visit.

They do an excellent job at getting rid of the pests in my home. The price is very reasonable.

They do a good job, are clean and courteous, and charge a fair price. They also return without question if there are any interrim issues. We are pleased with their service.

The customer service is good. They always call before they come out. If I am home they come knock on the door to tell me what they did. Emergency services are also included in the contract.

They call the day before and make sure it is a good time to come. They always come to the door and talk to us about what they are going to do. When they leave they always come back to the door and tell me what they found or did. They are really nice and professional. We highly recommend them.

He's punctual. Since we had them, there hasn't been an ant in the house. They're extremely effective. We had the same guy come for a while. He's very personable, and very punctual.

They are always reliable, they call before they come, look for problems, and they provide intermediate service in between if service is needed.

The service has been good. They are very thorough. They also use chemicals that are plant derived.

He was efficient in clearing up our gnat problem. We were so pleased with his services that we signed on for a quarterly contract. I would highly recommend him.

They have been coming for quite a few years. I was upset at my husband when he hired them as they came door to door, but I have never regretted it.

We've used them on a quarterly maintenance basis for several years now They are very responsive and will come back at any time if you have a special problem. They always call a day or 2 before coming. Very professional and customer-friendly.

They are reasonable. They are conscientious and very professional. I'm very pleased with the work.

I would avoid this company. They have high-pressure sales and they sort of scare you into buying their products. They aren?t much different than other pest controls but I would not recommend them.

I have been happy with their services. I like that they will come back free of charge if there are any more problems after their service. I know that there are still some ant problems so the quality would have to be a B.

They were prompt (early, in fact), and came within 48 hours, I believe, of making the appointment. The service was done quickly and quietly, and the tech (Max) left me with a schedule of which months he'd be returning, along with the fees for each time. He even noted on his service agreement to "Make sure gate is closed securely," as I have two dogs!
