I'll Handle IT

Dave did a great job on every project I asked him to do. He asks lots of questions so that he can ensure he's doing it exactly to your specifications which I LOVE. So many contractors just do it their way and assume that's what you want. Not Dave. He's also punctual, fair priced and always cleans up his mess. I will definitely use him again. One reason I know Dave is good at what he does is that he is BUSY. Make sure you plan and let him know in advance exactly what you need him to do the day you have him so he blocks enough time on his calender. It is very likely he will have several jobs booked in one day and he may not have time for any 'add-on' projects.

The work was done quickly and everything looks great! Will definitely use their services in the future.

Dave and his helper arrived at 8:00 am on day scheduled, removed very heavy patio cover, primed and installed facia board to replace damaged material, then painted to match. They haul away all removed material and cleaned up my yard. Dave was a pleasure to work with and a true professional. I would recommend him to anyone needing handy man help.

It exceeded expectations. Not only was the workmanship superb, but Dave was professional and courteous.

I would absolutely hire Dave again. In fact, about a month later he raced over to fix a leaking supply valve to my washing machine. On both occasions he came over within a couple of hours, even though that meant it was evening by the time he got there. He had a great attitude and fixed everything without any drama. I am an absentee owner and I trusted him with the key to my home. I keep his number handy!

Dave came out on short notice to fix my toilet and accommodated my work schedule. He did an excellent job of replacing the parts and thoroughly explained the problem. He was professional and I was very impressed with the service. The cost was reasonable and I will definitely use his services again.

I don't have every detail because I was not there when he did the work, but he did get the work done well and did everything we asked him to do even though the renter occupant was a bit challenging as far as scheduling goes.

He came to fix a socket for us but he wasn’t able to do anything. He was only able to assess it as it was more complicated. However, we utilized the entire hour that we paid him. He helped us with getting things from attic and so on. He was very good and polite. Once he realized that he couldn’t do that, he was honest and forthcoming. He was very helpful. He isn’t a big talker but he just does the job. He does charge more than what handymen do but he is worth it because he doesn’t spend a lot of time talking. I felt that it was very good time for money.

Dave and his helper were fantastic. Friendly, kind, punctual, and did a great job. I won't hesitate to look them up again for our next project.

He went out of his way to pick up the keys for my rental condo and take a look at a louvered door that was broken to see if it could be fixed. When he determined that it could not be fixed, he went to Home Depot and located a replacement door. After calling me to confirm that the door he had located would work, he purchased the door and installed it in the condo. The best thing(s) about Dave is (1) that he went out of his way to help me when there was a time constraint to getting this door fixed, (2) he kept me completely informed of his every move and provided his expert advice during the process, (3) he was prompt, friendly and efficient, and (4) he gave me peace of mind of knowing that problems would be handled. His rates are very reasonable and he is always reachable and responsive by cell phone, text or email. I highly recommend I'll Handle It and he will definitely be handling all of my rental condos and home repair needs in the future.

If you have anything you need done in your home, do not pass go -- just call Dave! This is the third time I have used him at my rental property. I emailed him and told him what needed to be done. We set a date and he was there AHEAD OF TIME, along with a helper. He had already fixed the screen door before I got there, since he could access it from the outside. He either put in new rollers or adjusted the existing ones and cleaned them and the tracks. As for the glass door, he had to remove it to look at the rollers. This was quite a difficult job, as it was difficult to remove, and then the glass was extremely heavy. But he and his employee did it. He looked at the rollers and determined that I didn't need new ones, but that the old ones could be cleaned up. They had gunk all over them and could only be cleaned and greased properly with the door off. (He actually told me he looked to find new rollers before he came to the house in anticipation of having to replace them, but there were 25 rollers to choose from. He said if there were 8 or so, he would have purchased them all and returned the ones he didn't need. Talk about being prepared!) The door slides great now. The kitchen faucet moved at the base. You could literally move it 180 degrees. My crack contractor who had remodeled the kitchen months before had not tightened it enough. Dave had a little trouble with it because he said the nut had rusted a little due to some water on it. But he was able to tighten it and now it works great. He also discovered, on his own, that the air gap was loose and tightened it. He is a pleasure to work with. He is honest, punctual and efficient. You can't ask for any more!

I hired this company on the basis of its stellar reviews on Angies List. The 6 week wait was well worth it. I explained the job over the phone and scheduled a date....but asked if they'd come by at some point to see the job first, look at the awning I purchased online to make sure there would be no surprises. Dave visited for over an hour, reviewed our plans and listened to my concerns. When he and his partner arrived to do the job,they were set to go...with all the right materials and a great attitude. Additionally, he took the time to adjust and realign another "self installed"awning -- a request I made as he was ready to leave! He fixed it with a smile. And, he charged the low end of his verbal estimate. Very fair. Going forward, my husband and I will be hiring I'll Handle It for future projects.

Couldn't get through on the phone; didn't respond to message sent via provider's own website, where I left details of the work needed along with full contact info. Completely unresponsive. Update (10/28): Have seen the Provider's response here, and have emailed him. I've searched & searched again, and note that the email address now being recommended in his response does not appear anywhere on his website. One either calls or uses the website's online form. Rather than leave a voicemail, I elected to use the form, and this is what was never responded to.

This is a really nice service company. Dave and his crew are pleasant to have around. They work with you to achieve the end result you're looking for. They are willing to run to Home Depot, to try something out, and to come out for several jobs taking only a day or larger jobs that might take several days. The idea of a "handyman" is very useful to us as homeowners, saving us from hiring several expensive workers for smaller jobs that involve basic electrical installation, plumbing, painting, woodworking and repair, or tile installation or repair.

iDavid did an excellent job on all of the work and his price was reasonable. He was flexible and accommodating and was even willing to make a run to the hardware store to buy some needed materials for me. I already made another appointment with him to come back and do some more work. Make sure you schedule a few weeks in advanced. He is very busy.

Dave called a couple of days ahead to confirm our appointment and he showed up right on time. He brought a 2nd worker with him, so the jobs proceeded quickly. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all the scraps after. Both the towel bar and the curtain rod had been installed incorrectly by another "handyman" previously. I will never again go in blindly hiring someone. Thank you Angie's List for your great data base! And, thank you Dave for doing such an expert job!
