Dave is professional in his work. He responded quickly to the initial phone message I left and set up a time when he could stop by to look over the job. Upon arrival he was quick to understand what we wanted and offered other suggestions that we had not considered. We found it very helpful to have options and an idea of what Dave would do to accomplish the job. After accepting the job Dave worked us into his schedule of other jobs he was working on and in no time everything was done. He was very aware of the plants in the area he was working around and any mess he made. Tarps were always near by for scrap and to protect us, when we came out to check on the progress, for fear we might trip on something. Each night everything was picked up or put back in place to the point that if you didn't know where to look you would never know work was being done. And when Dave and his helper were working there was no loud talking or radio blaring ? just the normal sounds of good work being done. We are pleased with Dave's work and look forward to using him again in the future.

Dave had just finished a remodel of my master bedroom which included new window frames and windowsill. I was enjoying the new window so much that I asked Dave to return to make the door frames match. Dave removed the existing door frames and installed new door frames to match the window frame. They look wonderful. Dave's work is without flaw of any kind. He is neat, professional and prompt. His prices are fair. In short, the man is a gem. I am already looking forward to my next project!

Dave is efficient, professional and his work is perfect. From initial quote to final invoice, the process was extremely smooth. Every email was answered promptly. Dave arrived on time and worked with extreme efficiency. I couldn't have asked for anything more. My house was so clean every day when I got home that I wouldn't have known he was there, except that he had made progress on the job! It was refreshing to work with a contractor who is engaged in the project. Dave stands out in this regard. He gently offers ideas for consideration and they are good ideas. His suggestions enhanced the final look of the room. I had been planning to install bull-nose edging on the bedroom window and Dave offered the idea of trimming the window with a nice trim and adding a windowsill. It looks so nice, that I want to change all my windows! He offered other suggestions as well that really added to the final look of the room. It is very easy to recommend Dave for any project. I am so impressed with his professionalism and with the high quality of his work. I am already looking forward to my next project.

It went okay. He had cancelled once because something else came up. He ran into a glitch while working and stayed to get it done. He did a good job.

Dave was very punctual. He gave me a start date and would call if he were detained somewhere else. He even called when it was pouring rain to inform me he wouldn't be able to work that day, as if I didn't know he couldn't work outside. He also called to tell me of some undiscovered wood that needed to be replaced, which upped the overall price. Not a problem since it had to be done. I would definitely call Dave again for any number of jobs. He knows when to call in others to help him out. He's honest, dependable and very affordable.

David arrived exactly when he said he would. He's a very personable man and he knows what he's doing. He was efficient and knowledgeable and he didn't make any kind of mess. I was extremely pleased with him and his work. I will definitely be using him again. The work was performed at my house on Cork Place, San Diego 92117.

Dave was great. He gave me an honest estimate of the cost of the work to be performed including parts and labor. The price was great compared to other estimates. Dave gave me a date when he could perform the work and then emailed two times to confirm that he was coming. He showed up on time and was very professional. He covered the furniture and floors with drop cloths and cleaned up after he completed each job. The quality of his work was great and the amount of time it took was spot on with his estimate. Overall, Dave did an excellent job and he was a true professional. I would recommend "I'll Handle it" to anyone who needs work done around the house and I absolutely plan to use Dave for future projects (painting, kitchen remodel, etc) at my home. Dave's workmanship was top notch. He readjusted the gate as well to ensure that it matched up with fence and worked properly. He also stained the dog ears to match up as close as possible to the exisitng fence.

Price was really reasonable. He doesn't overcharge. He explains things. If he finds an inexpensive way of doing things that you would like, he is sure to let you know about it. He has good interpersonal skills.

I had a terrible flood at my home. Many companies were involved in the repair of my home, and a fair number of them were blatently dishonest, particularly if they believed that there were any insurance monies available. Late in the repair process, I found Dave Pfizenmeier, and I SO wish that I had found him earlier. He is extremely kind, has the fairest prices around, and is the most honest repairman I have ever met. As a single older lady, I have to admit that I am rather easily exploited, and I very commonly find that the repairmen will claim that a job should cost $1500 when I later find that it can be fixed for $100. This never happens with Dave. He gives me all the alternatives, and if he does not immediately know how to fix something, he tells me, and tells me about possible experimental fixes he can try (which have always worked). If there is a short term fix that will hold off a long term failure of something, he tells me that, rather than sticking me with a bill for something that will have to be replaced again soon. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you have a home problem, I would start with calling Dave. He'll either fix it or he'll find someone who can do it for you fairly.
