Took advantage of a promotional offer with Sign On San Diego, and had two home HVAC systems inspected. He inspected the motor for drawing proper current, burners, freon pressure, housing integrity, wiring integrity, removed and measured starting and running capacitors, and at one residence, suggested a condenser cleaning. Also offered suggestions for making the HVAC run more efficiently. Each issue was explained in detail. Being an engineer, several of the issues I can address myself. He found legitimate heating safety issues at both homes that will be addressed.

I called to have this repaired and also wanted the AC and heater checked. It hadn't been done in a while. Jake arrived in the early part of my 2 hour window. He was very pleasant, professional and courteous. He explained the situation and gave me the estimate right away. I paid for the repair, but he checked the AC & heater as well. I appreciated his advice on my 23 year old heater. Jake was in and out in a short period of time.

Because of a long hot spell it took several days to schedule an appointment for a technician to come out. Eddie called ahead of time and arrived during the scheduled appointment time. As he was troubleshooting, he showed me & explained what caused the problem; temporarily installed a new part and checked out the rest of the system. He was very knowledgeable, professional and polite while performing the repair.

(.The technician that came out seemed very knowledgeable about the products and he was patient when it came time to show me how everything worked and let me know what he was doing and about how long it would take. He made sure I understood how he was mounting the thermostat and that it was ok with me. He set up the new thermostat too. He listened (really) and understood and ex what my concerns and expectations were. He arrived in the time expected, stayed focused on the task and was polite. I like the fact that if I have problems on a weekend or evening they are ready to help and won't charge more.

Dave called to announce his arrival time and was right on his ETA. Very pleasant, courteous and professional man with a smiling personality. This was in marked contrast to a previous call last October when the technician was more concerned with selling parts than tuning up our furnace.Repair was completed fast and price of $101 (after applying a discount from a prepaid service plan) was very reasonable.So if we need further service we will ask for Dave and highly recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Comprehenseive service call for an inefficient A/C. Brandon Morris was outstanding. He was fast, detailed and thorough. And very helpful and informative. He cheerfully answered all my questions. Even though we paid for service to be done and also paid for a service agreement where they would come out for a discount price the next visit, we never had them out again.

I was disappointed that the price was quoted higher on the day of service. They did do a good job and did it for the price I asked. I just wish they would have been a little more accurate and detailed on the estimate over the phone initially.

Jake did an excellent job getting our air conditioner in condition to run. Thank goodness they came out the same day I called because if i had to wait over the weekend it would have sever damage to the air conditioner and house. Jake took his time and inspected everything and we were back up and ready to go within about and hour.I would definitely use them again!

I had ASI go out and look at my tenatants Air Conditioner. He gave them a quote to repair it but said it had reached the end of it's life cycle and we probably needed a new one. He also informed them that the furnace needed to replaced. He told the our tenants that he would contact us about a repair. Greg, the serviceman contacted my husband and esxplained what was wrong with the furnace. My husband asked him to give him a quote and give him his best deal because we are shopping around. I never received the quote so I called ASI. The lady that I spoke to said someone would get back to me that day. The next day I hadn't heard from anyone so I called again and they said they would email it to me. Two days later I still hadn't received anything and had to talk to someone else to get the proposal emailed. When I did review the proposal I was shocked to find out they were about 1/3 higher than the other 2 companies that gave me quotes.

ASI's Service Technician Jeff C. was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Another pleasant, stress-free Preventative Maintenance performed on our A/C. We have been having ASI out to our house biannually (Heater and A/C) for a few years now and have never been disappointed in their service. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Company was on time and completed the whole job in 3 days. It was a pleasure having such a professional job done.The company was very competive in price, matching or beatings others but you have to neogitate with them. The system has perfomed perfectly and they gave me a 5 year warranty. I have really enjoyed this system. The ac works great even on the hottest days and is very energy efficient. Would highly recommend this company. If you saw something you wanted changed they did it immediately with no questions asked. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

I had an appointment on a Monday. I was told I was needed at work that day so I called to cancel my appointment with ASI on a Friday at 515pm. The answering service took a ton of info from me to cancel the appointment (name, number, date and time of appointment, address, why I was having the appointment). I was totally okay with that--but was surprised at how much info they wanted. Saturday morning at 745am I get woken up by a call from ASIASI "Hi maam (sounds hungover)?ME- "Yes"? ASI "I am returning a call you left for ASI yesterday...ME: I explain that I just canceled an appointment for MondayASI "ok" Monday afternoon while I am at work 130pmASI "Hi maam"ME "YES"ASI-"We have an appointment today, I am at your house"ME...well you can imagine what I said... LAME! I'd shoot for a smaller business who spends less money on advertising and has better communication.I met with Thompson HVAC and Guthrie and Sons HVAC and got great service/quotes from both. Not sure who I am using yet--but it isn't ASI

Clean, on time and easy to work with.

The serviceman, Dean, was extremelly thorough and suggested that we have the condenser coil cleaned as it was showing some deterioration due to the salt air from living close to the ocean. He tested the air conditioner completely and found the compressor and motor not to be working as well as they should. He hoped the coil cleaning would help and instructed us how to manage cleaning it ourselves a couple of times a year in order to extend the life of the unit. He also suggested a special cover for the unit when we were not using it. Dean did an outstanding job .

The ASI employee that came to our house was friendly. We were told that we would need a completely new unit if what he did was not working. The next week when we called about it not working properly, we got the run around. After contacting them on 4 different occasions, we were told it would be in the range of 3,000+ to get a new unit. After research, we found several other companies that had units at a much more reasonable amount. We called ASI back and told them (again after 5 times) we were told that they would apply the credit that we had already used to the bill. We decided to get a second opinion. The other company came out and made a simple fix, which had been done incorrectly by the ASI employee.They seems so nice and friendly in their commericals. ASI, gets a huge F for customer service. The technician was on time and performed the services satisfactorily

The service was good. The scheduling was very easy. They are knowledgeable about what they do.

Fairly new A/C (approx 18 months old) stopped cooling. Refrigerant level was nearly zero and a leak was suspected. Technician returned to search for leaks and spent most of the day looking. Could only identify a potential leak and applied a fix for that. System recharged and worked...briefly. A week later it was no longer functioning. ASI promptly sent another crew out, this time they found the issue. They procured an in-warranty replacement condenser and returned to install at no additional labor cost. Very pleased with their responsiveness and honesty. As I was at work, I provided them with a door code to my home -- they let themselves in, performed the work, and locked up when they left. Would not hesitate to call them again.

They did a very professional job and fixed the issues. I haven't had any problems with it since they fixed it.

Tom Justo came out and gave me estimates for the different options. I liked the fact that ASI had very good ratings and did a high number of these upgrades. They also take care of the incentive paperwork. Work crews came on time and were very friendly and professional. I am very happy with this system and I hope it will be reliable. There were some minor issues but things worked out for the best. I had told ASI that I was in the process of replacing the concrete where the previous a/c condensor was, so there was a delay from the furnace installation until the a/c was installed. I noticed that the a/c condensor listed on the paperwork was not the one I wanted so I called Tom to check on it. Come to find out the a/c condensor that was delivered with the furnace was the wrong one anyway. Tom had me call him when I was ready for the a/c install and had the correct one sent out. The new a/c unit was a lot bigger, which was not a problem, but the pad installed was a little small. I want to thank Tom, Kyle, Ramon, Rich and the rest of the crew for the great service. I especially want to thank Maria in the main office for staying on top of things. She was exceptional.

We recently purchased a home in El Cajon. I had noticed that the heating vent in one of the bedrooms did not blow very hard and the room did not heat. I called ASI to come take a look and also give me an estimate for a new A/C unit and install. (We only have a heater.) They came out the very next day, on time, and told me that the "flipper" had installed the heating unit and ran the air hoses/ducts all over the attic, there was no direct route from the heating unit to the rooms. The estimate they gave me was for the A/C unit, new air ducts with direct routes to the bedrooms and sealing of the ceiling vents to minimize air loss. (Which apparently the "flippers" did not do either.) Of course I had to think it over a few days but as soon as I called to schedule the install, they literally came out in two days! (I was on a time crunch and needed it done before the weekend) The ASI team of reps, inspectors and technicians are phenomenal. VERY professional, accommodating and friendly. The office staff is wonderful as well! I would not hesitate to HIGHLY recommend ASI to anyone! Worth every penny!

They were very flexible. They had different packages. They put in everything with it. I use them every year. They come out twice a year to service my heater and air conditioner.
