Aquatech Rain Gutters/ Soltech Patio Covers

All went well. There was a some mix up of where exactly I needed and wanted gutters (I wasn't home when they did the estimate). However they were quick to fix the issue.

The job was done efficiently and professionally. We are pleased with the result.

Installers were a little early. We went over the work order and I showed them the work site. The installers got to work and finished in less than 3 hours. They were very professional and did a great job.

The rain gutter downspout was installed into a drain that never worked, which was discussed as the primary problem with the old gutters. When the company was contacted about the error it was remedied the next day with no hassle. The customer service was good and the installers were very clean and efficient. They wanted to maje sure that I was satisfied with the work and even followed up to make sure that everything was installed properly and that I was satisified. You don't see that kind of customer service too often.

Very well. Rated all A except for punctuality (B). Estimator was on time. Installers were an hour late but I received no phone call making me aware of the delay. I had to call the office to get a status. Just a minor issue in the scheme of things. Would have rated Punctuality as an A- if available.

Soltech Patio Covers installed an Alumawood lattice system on top of an existing wooden support system that was already very warped and distorted. Prior to contract signing, they performed bending tests to ensure that the job was possible. All hold down screws were specially ordered to be long enough for this difficult situation. They called and scheduled the installation and showed up on time. During installation, each screw was individually adjusted to result in a lattice structure that was straight and level. They did an excellent installation job. Even after the contact was completed, I asked for a copy of the special screw order to insure that they were indeed stainless steel material. Soltech responded quickly with a copy of the material specification. I couldn't have asked for more from this responsive and polite company.

It went fantastic. From me contacting them and the owner coming out we wrote up a plan and an estimate for the work. They were a little backlogged but when they came out like they were scheduled the install was within a day. They used all the colors that they were supposed to you. It was perfect. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

It went pretty well. The crew was cordial and met the timetables they estimated. They did a good job taking care of our needs.

The technicians were great, professional and did a good job. They communicated well as to what I wanted them to do. The only downside was the lack of promptness for return phone calls fromm the office when scheduling.

I purchased 2 Angie's certificates to replace over 100 lin. feet of gutters and about 60-70 sq ft of downspouts in April. However I did not set an appointment to install until November. In part, because the company was overwhelmed with business by then due to El Nino, there were several further delays in the installation process. 1st visit resulted in removing gutters, but there was a mixup about color of gutters (probably my fault), so we needed to set up another appointment to install. 2nd visit was set up, but shortage of employees that week caused a reschedule two weeks later. I waited for 3rd visit, but team arrived late in afternoon--too late to install. 4th visit went well and gutters were installed. However, with 1st rain there were leaks between fascia and gutters. Roofers who came before I started the gutter job had not spotted any problems along the flashings, and Aquatech owner, Andrew, said his employees had failed to note whether there were preexisting flashing to tarpaper gaps. So, since Andrew and I had no way of knowing if his installers caused or aggravated preexisting tar paper upliftment, Andrew went to work and spent 2 hours using roof patching epoxy to fix whatever tarpaper to flashing gaps he found. Although I am still waiting for the next big rain to test whether the problem is 100% solved, I still recommend this company in spite of the delays because 1) of their courteous, respectful behavior at all times (office, all installers and the owner), 2) the quality of their product, and 3) the way they resolved the leak problem. Problems and mistakes inevitably happen, but to me the mark of a true professional is in how the problems get handled. I give Andrew, the owner, high marks for personally coming to examine the post-gutter-install leaks, and then focusing on fixing the problem instead of dickering about whom to blame. I believe most of the delays on the company's part were because they were overwhelmed with work, so control and communication was not up to their highest standards.

Called for an estimate on redoing and extending an existing rain gutter system. The rep stopped me to say this was not something they were doing now. I was surprised they had no interesting in even discussing my project. Their website made no mention of how limited a service they offer. If your home does not have any rain gutters, they may be interested in speaking with you. Makes one wonder if they are not even interested in fixing/repairing their past work.
