+ -1 moreI had Aquatech out to install a gutter on one side of my house in Jan. 2010. They did a great job, so I called them back to do the other, higher side. The estimate person came on time. He told me that they no longer regularly carry the Leaf Solutions leaf screen which I had gotten last time, but that they would be happy to order it for me. The installation crew was also on time. Installation went quickly and everything looks good. It rained this past weekend and the gutter worked as it should. I'd like to note that the gutter+installation was very reasonably priced; the Leaf Solutions cover, however, was expensive at more than half the cost of the job but I just had to have it because it works SO WELL.
Description of Work: Installed gutter, leaf screen, and downspout along one side of my house.

+ -1 moreAndrew (the owner) came in person to look at the job and provide a quote. The price was about the same as the two other companies I called. Aquatech was available the earliest, so I hired them. Their work was great, they came on time, and the guys that did the work, Gav and Joel, were friendly and quick. The morning they showed up there was a big storm but they worked through the rain (!!) and still got the job done in about four hours. I was really impressed with their dedication and the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend this company. Great job, thank you!

+ -1 moreI called a few places requesting estimates for replacing my very poor raingutters, The office of Aquatech Raingutters have the most helpful/professional employees. An appointment was scheduled with no problem. Mr. Merrick arrived on schedule - a very pleasant person - he explained the 'whys and wherefores' and left the estimate. Another company came and gave me an estimate. The dollar amount was about the same, but there is more to it than that. 'Decided to go with Aquatech and again the very pleasant voice in their office quickly scheduled an installation appointment that worked. I cannot find where I wrote the names of the two young men who installed my new raingutters, but they were great. They were quick, neat (everything was picked up, swept up and removed). The new looks great and I would recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreI contacted 2 gutter installers highly ranked on Angie's List to come the same day about 90 minutes apart. The other company was scheduled first but came an hour late; Andrew Merrick from Aquatech was right on time. His quote was higher but provided features I felt were important--screw mounting and metal flashing. They were ready for installation right away and started 2 days later. The two guys they sent were on time, fast, and professional.
Description of Work: Aquatech replaced all gutters and downspouts including installation of metal flashing along the roof edges. A selling point for me was that they used screws vice nails since the reason I had to replace my gutters was that the nails were working themselves loose in several places. They took time to confirm the proper color and followed directions on where to route the downspout to a rain barrel and pails.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. The one thing which I was unhappy about them was that they didn’t really catch the results of their work. I had them come out to pour water in the rain gutter and make sure that it went the right way. I noticed now there is another leak that is opened up and I don’t think that it is their responsibility. I was very pleased with their work. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Aquatech Raingutters was two years ago. They adjusted the leak in the rain gutter and they adjusted the ring in the rain gutter.

+ -1 moreThe price they charged was really reasonable. There were a couple of people that were a little lower in price, but the service and professionalism that they showed was worth the extra money. They were very responsive, they listened to what I wanted, and they did extra by putting gutters in an area that I didn?t think I needed any but they really thought that I did. They didn?t change the price after they included extra gutters. They were fast, they were neat and clean, they picked up after themselves, and they didn?t leave anything around.
Description of Work: Aquatech Raingutters replaced some old rain gutters and added on some new rain gutters.

He took the time to answer my questions and show me samples of various styles of gutters and gutter attachments. They had to reschedule the job once because of rain during the previous week, which was mildly inconvenient, but the crew showed up on time to do the work and did a good, efficient job. We were pleased with the results.

+ -1 moreThe work went well. I was pleased with their work. The only downside was that it seemed like the price wasn’t that great. They seemed attentive to what I wanted. They seemed competent and knowledgeable. Their professionalism was fine once they got here, but the guy didn't return my phone calls for a while. He talked about something going on with his daughter or something. I would follow up with their work here. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them if anything goes wrong with the gutters.

+ -1 moreThe replacement and the new gutters they installed fit beautifully with the building. His workers came when scheduled, worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. I could not have been happier with the job.
Description of Work: Aquatech did repair of existing gutters and installation of new ones where we previously had none. I got three bids for this work and Robert’s bid was right in the middle. I would have accepted his bid if it had been twice the others. You only need to listen to him for five minutes to know that no one is going to do a better job. One of the other contractors had pointed out a joint that was rusted and said that we needed to replace “all of the building’s gutters.” Robert pointed out the same joint and said that we needed to replace “that joint.” He advised me to put in a gutter on the side of the building, where water was running off into the ground and foundation, and he said we didn’t really need a gutter on the back of the building where water ran down onto the concrete alleyway. He said he wouldn’t know whether other areas in the existing gutters needed to be replaced until they forced water through for cleaning. As it turned out, they did not find any other areas in the existing gutters that needed replacing.

They showed up first thing in the morning & got right to work. Did a great job, gutters look and work great - they even had gutters & downspouts to match the 3 different colors on the buildings. Crew was very polite, professional, and tidy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, I'd use Aquatech again with no reservations.

+ -1 moreMy husband and I, we were at work. They told us that they would be done by the time we came home. I arrived home at 4:30 and sure enough everything was done. They left the bill in our mailbox as previously arranged. We did not give a down payment. The owner in our initial appointment for an estimate told us, he wanted to be paid when the job was done. Wanted to make sure it was done to our satisfaction, before being paid.
Description of Work: Replaced all the gutters. We had never replaced them since 1980 when we bought the home. They finished the same day. Left everything clean. Very professional.

Aquatech personnel arrived at appointed time. Old gutters and downspouts were removed, new gutters were made on site and installed. Work was excellent. I would definately recommend them.
Description of Work: Removed existing gutters, replaced with new gutters made on site, including screens to keep leaves out. Work was performed on time and for quoted price. Cleaned up and hauled away old gutters.

+ -1 moreThe owner of the company came out. It took them a while to get back to me. I called Monday and I called back on Tuesday afternoon, because I hadn't heard back. He changed the time for when he was going to be coming out a couple of times, which was okay because he called to inform me. The last time, he didn't call. He just came three hours later than he said he would. He was very professional. He gave me a quote on my gutters. He noticed that I have a patio overhang, so he gave a quote for that, too. He wasn't pressuring me to have that work done. He was able to answer my questions. Besides the fact that it was hard to get him out there, he did a good job. I used a different company because of the price. Also, the owner of that company was much more responsive.
Description of Work: They gave a quote on installing new gutters. We didn't have any gutters previously.
