They had to repair some joints to prevent leaks and they also cleaned out some of the gutters. They were punctual, showed up just when they said they would. They were very efficient. They weren't looking at the dollars and cents, but looked at the job that needed to be done.

Highly recommend Aquatech Raingutters- I had purchased the Angie's List Big Deal, but almost forgot to get in touch with them until the week before the deal expired - - no problem. They sent a technician to go over the estimate and service. The footage was slightly over the amount specified in the deal, but they threw in the extra at no charge. We decided to add a catchment system to save the rainwater and again they gave us a very good deal on the cost of the barrels and all the fittings. Plus, they alerted us to rebate on the barrels; so it really was a BIG DEAL!

Had some difficulty getting communication response from the Aquatech office initially. We needed samples of the gutter material in different colors in order to get a house paint trim color to match, but the samples were slow in getting to us; we had to call twice. Also, some debris was left behind from the demolition of the existing gutters, which was done on a date prior to the installation of the new product. We called the office and the material was promptly removed. The installation was set for a date more than a month past demolition, due to painting of the house exterior and a planned vacation. Installers arrived at the promised time on the promised date and did a professional, non-intrusive job of hanging the new gutters. We are pleased with our Aquatech gutters and would use Aquatech again.

James came out, provided an estimate and extended a discount for Angie's List Members. Both prices were reasonable however we decided to go with new seamless gutters. They called and confirmed the date and time of installation prior to the event just as a reminder and mailed a color palette to choose from for both gutters and the drain pipes. The truck and crew arrived on the date and time as promised and a two man crew were present. One of the crew walked me through to ensure what he had was correct in terms of where the gutter drain pipes were to be located and how and where we wanted to drain the gutters. They ran an extension cord, plugged the machinery in the truck in and they began immediately. If you've never seen seamless gutters made, I recommend you just take a peek and make sure you let them know or you'll miss it. The Aluminum of your color choice goes in one end and seamless gutter lengths are made all at one time, in very short order. The process doesn't take long. While one was making the gutters the other was making preparations to hang the gutters on our home. Once they were ready, the gutter hanging process commenced again, pretty quick. They followed that with the drain pipes, securing them to the house and directing rainwater away from the home. The 2 man crew completed the new gutters in about 2 hours...plus or minus and again one member walked me around to ensure the gutters were where they were supposed to be, were hung correctly and everything met my expectations...and it did and the new gutters really dressed up the house. I will say, the gutter colors and drain pipe colors matched perfectly. That was a little bit of a concern that they weren't going to match but you can't tell...they are perfectly matched. If you are concerned, I'd recommend you get them to mail their gutter color palette, bring it outside in the sun, place it against the house and/or eaves and the color selection will work perfectly. The process was so uncomplicated, Aquatech gutters came out, provided an estimate, which we requested via Angie's List, we decided to hire them, we set a date, picked the colors and on the date and time they arrived and in about 2 hours, the gutters were up and the job was done and we were pleased. The true test is how they actually work and 2 days later rain was forecasted and it came. I walked around the house several times, checking everything, and no leaks, and the drains directed the rain water away and it worked the gutters worked great. In addition there are 10 year warranties on installation and 100 year guarantee on the materials. Despite an annual cleaning and look over I project no more issues with gutters, maintenance, etc.

I had contacted AquaTech about 6 months ago but had to postpone work due to other house repair needs. * They came out, explained the work. Shared samples, we picked colors, and all the planning was done. * Estimate came in over email - Convenient for me. Recontacted AquaTech via email on Monday: * They got back to me on Wed. * Re-confirmed negotiated price * AquaTech was able to come out on Friday of the same week. Installation: * They asked to meet with me in person at beginning to re-confirm downspout locations - Good thing to do. * Had the option to leave but decided to stick around - I'm that type of customer. * Stated they would arrive at 8:15AM - did not arrive until 9AM. * Spent about 10minutes confirming downspouts and that was pretty much it - work began. * At around 11AM I noticed it became very quiet: -- Went outside to check and they had left (they mentioned they would leave around lunchtime). -- All the gutters were up on the house (no downspouts). * I heard noise again at around 1PM * By 3 or 3:30 I heard a leaf-blower going. * A few moments later a knock at the front door. -- They mentioned the work was done and invited me to take a look and review their work. -- All look good, I signed the paperwork and they were off. * I called in to may payment with CCd Professionalism / Friendliness: * Everyone on the team (3 in the morn, 2 in the afternoon) was friendly and nice. I had no issue / feelings of awkwardness with them around. Cleanliness - Grounds: * They did run the leaf blower to blow off the dirt in my courtyard. * After the work, I did find bits and pieces of gutter, nails and screws on the ground. Nothing excessive. * One area was left with a lot of dirt that had fallen from the old gutter. * I had to go back and do some minor cleaning up. Cleanliness - Gutters: * These were left looking brand-spanking new. * I noticed they used a cloth to go back over the gutters and downspouts and clean off hand-dirt. * Overall install looks good and professionally done. Thoughts / Surprises / Notes: * They came and went without saying a word to me. Some may not like this approach as some may like to be kept up to date about every step in of the work. In my case, I was OK with it. They were just installing gutters, and when I peaked outside and saw the progress, I knew they were on-track to finish as promised. Gutter: * My first home and never had to deal with gutters. The *Original* gutters on the home (there were two types installed when I purchased the house) were a complete seamless box - along the length and at the ends. My neighbors have this on their home too. -- These gutters are seamless along the length, but at the ends, a type of "cap" seems to be installed that is crimped on. So, these gutters do not have a true seamless box look at the ends. -- I chuck this up to my inexperience and not asking specifically about this - never occurred to me. -- Part of it could also be the price. Downspouts: * The *original* downspouts were also the box type that were hand-cut. These original downspouts were *very* clean and smooth. -- The new downspouts are also the box-smooth shape. However, where they cut the downspout to make the joints, they used screws to hole them together and attach the gutters to the wall. -- So instead of a true smooth install from top-to-bottom, screws can be seen. -- Again, I chuck this up to inexperience and not asking and maybe price - if I had paid double, maybe that original look would have been an option - one I would not have taken at that price. Color: * I live in a PUD with a strict HOA. * Color was matched as I requested. * No gripes here. Unexpected Extras (A Bonus!): * So there were some concerns that I may need "riser metal" on the gutters. -- A piece of metal that rises above the gutter to protect the water from overshooting the gutter. * Without asking and without charge, the guys installed riser metal in key places where they felt water could potentially overshoot the gutter. The riser metal was installed nicely, It does not look like some extra piece of junk metal that they put up, but as if it was part of the overall plan - Props to AquaTech!! Price: * I did call around and get a few quotes. They were not the cheapest around, even with discounts. * I received the Angie's List discount. * They gave me a little additional off when I asked. Why I chose AquaTech: * The guy who came out to give me the quote was very personable, patient and explained everything very well. * The reviews online were mostly positive. * I had an overall impression that AquaTech would be professional, do quality work and be efficient in their install. Overall Rating Explained: * So in my mind, "excellent" would be something above-and-beyond my expectations in all the categories (I guess I am a tough critic). * I would recommend AquaTech and would ask them to do work for me again when needed. * Everyone was friendly and I always felt at ease. * The work appears to be quality and, now, I cannot wait for rain to see how well they perform. * I am pleased with the work and I feel the price was spot-on, even though they were not the cheapest. Final Recommendation: * At the very least give them a call and have them come out. * If you are expecting a very specific look, make sure to bring that up. -- If you are concerned about how it will be installed, etc. *** I will try to upload photos - do not see how I can do this via this review page.

He arrived and I took him out to show them the problem I was trying to resolve. He looked at it, got the materials needed and went to work. He got the ladders out of the truck and had the job finished in 2 hours.

James came out to give me an estimate and also to show me various styles and choices. He helped me pick the best possible choicefor my victoian home and helped me stretch my budgeted dollars.

Job surveying/estimate went well, good first impression. Installers were easy to work with, did nice job. No complaints; would use again/recommend.

I anticipatate that it will go very well based upon the companys responsiveness and followup via phone.

Had to wait awhile, as they are heavily booked, but the work was excellent.

A+ on material service and responsiveness--AQ Tech is the one to go to in San Diego-. B on planning and design as we had to add some down spouts after the first rains due to pooling in some ends--seems the acceptable is less than 3/8s but think it out to be zero to stave off mold and or mosquitoes. AQ Tech fixed a couple but I had to pay to fix a remaining couple. Also there was a need to come back as some soffitt penatrations were not siliconized/sealed and I had not been on the roof I would have not noticed and there would have been some chance for water getting behind the gutters. Use them but make sure you understnad what will be done and what you want done and do take a look around before considering the job done. Those nits aside AQ Tech is the go to place for rain gutters here--good price, good planning and good install with great responsiveness to issues discovered.

Afer deciding with Aquatech I changed my mind about the new installation. My dealings with Aquatech was excellent and they were responsive and understanding that I changed my mind. Furthermore, my experience with Angie's list to cancel the order and to get a refund through paypal went extremely smooth and i thank Angie's List for making the process go smooth.

Went great. Cleaned up and hauled away the crud.

James came out on the 19th of February and wrote up an estimate to put gutters around my home. Due to sloping of my flat roof I had a large amount of runoff at the rear of my home. I was promised that the installers would arrive between 8 and 9 am this date. The two men Garvin and Bryce arrive before 9 am and promptly started laying out the material they brought with them and began the installation. They checked the slope of the gutters with a level to insure that the water would flow towards the downspouts. All the corners and downspouts fit cleanly and were sealed properly. All material and hardware used in the job matchecd the leaf green color I chose and they touched up the corners with matching spray paint where required. All material used was of high quality and the installation came with a 10 year warranty. After they were finished they thoroughly cleaned up the area before leaving.

The representative that came out for the estimate was on time, friendly and professional. He did not not upsell us on anything, but did write up different options based on our requests. Their quote actually came in less than the final invoice.

The salesman who came out was very knowledgeable and made some helpful suggestions on the layout of the raingutters and downspouts. He had color samples with him and we quickly matched 2 different trim colors. He pointed out that on one side of my house the end of my roof tiles were resting on the roof - I was missing a critical piece that allows it to drip into the gutters (not down the walls). Without my asking, he added it to the job and said it was no charge. Installation was a week later and took less than 3 hours. Both installers were friendly and walked thru the project beforehand to verify where everything was going. A few days later, it rained hard and my back yard didn't flood! I was ecstatic. I did notice that one of the downspouts in the front yard was pointed toward the driveway, but a slight slope was bringing some of the water back to the base of my house. I called their office and left a message to ask them to extend the downspout. I didn't hear back from them for 2 days and called them again. This time I spoke to a live person and she assured me they would fix it within a week. It was actually fixed the next day, no charge. I highly recommend them.

Amazing service and outstanding quality. Couldn't be happier. It totally makes my house look complete now... Just waiting for it to rain now so I can see how it all flows. *******UPDATE******* 9.29.2014 After the most recent "hurricane type rain" we received last week, a few of my gutter brackets came loose. I contacted Aquatech to have additional brackets installed. The crew came out this afternoon and installed all new hardware. I was intending to pay for the additional brackets but they said I had a 10 year warranty on workmanship! I had no idea. It was such an easy, hassle free experience. I still stand by my previous statement about outstanding quality but GOOD GOD I wasn't expecting such hassle free assistance. Aquatech is truly wonderful and it is refreshing to see a company stand by their product..

They first gave me an estimate. We agreed to the price along with my Angie's discount. They came out as scheduled andvinstalledvthe gutter. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Two individuals from Aquatech did the installation of raingutters for the entire house. They were professional and neat. They explained what they had planned before they started. Now we must wait for a good rain to test everything.

The people I talked to in the office and who came to do the work were professional and helpful. I had some special custom requirements about some rain barrel s and they went out of their way to accommodate my request.

We received an excellent quote and very professional service for the initial bid. We decided not to replace the rain gutters since we are repainting our house to prepare for sale.
