Aquatech Rain Gutters/ Soltech Patio Covers

Installed gutters. I had two different types installed. Looks great. I had one call back for a small problem with my roof water spilling over the end of the gutter. They came out, took care of it and all is perfect. |1st class crew.

Awesome. Cheap, quick, and and most importantly uneventful. These are not the fanciest gutters but they get the job done and the price is right.

Aquatech setup an initial appointment to review the project and pick colors. Due to high demand the installation date was 3 weeks later. There was no rush on our end, so this was fine. Aquatech setup the installation appointment with a 4 hour window, and Jonas called 30 minutes before they came to warn they were on their way. They arrived early and only took 45 minutes to install the whole project. The project entailed gutters for a patio roof and was relatively simple installation. Results look great and it actually rained the next day proving out there were no leaks and the gutters worked great. The color also matched the paint, so my HOA should be happy.

The estimator came out to look at the house and determine the amount of gutters I wanted, as well as the types of downspouts and drain connections I would require. Color matched the gutters and downspouts at that time as well. He was prompt and professional and seemed very knowledgeable about the product and the companies practices. I made an appointment for the installers to come out early on Tuesday. There was a problem with their scheduling and they had to come a few hours later than originally scheduled. The called me on Thursday, giving me plenty of notice, saying they would start between 11 and 1, and they arrived at 11:30. The crew that came was professional and friendly, asked if I had any questions or requests before they began. They had enough people to get the job done quickly (took about 2 hours), and they were respectful of my property. When the crew left there was no sign that they had every been here, except that I now had beautiful gutters protecting my home from rain damage.

The install went well. The guys came over inspected the job and understood their course of action. I had to run off in the middle of the install and when I came back (1 hour total) the job was done. Then about 2 hours later they came back to say that there were a couple of loose tiles and they ran off to get nails (i noticed when they inspected the job they were also inspecting the tiles near the site). They didn't have to come back and nail the loose tiles but they did. That was cool.

Aquatech Raingutters did a great job, professionally. There was one small problem and once called the owner came the next day and fixed the problem! Loved the experience and I would encourage anyone that needs gutters to use Aquatech!

Andrew was wonderful. The original price was a little too steep for me, so he worked with me to bring the price down. He and his crew were on time and professional from estimate to finished product. The patio cover is beautiful and extremely sturdy. It was a great experience.

Workers showed up very late in the day (almost dark). Were not fresh but worked efficiently to custom fit gutters/down spouts around porch and roof line. Did not have sufficient material to complete portico correctly. That work was finished ~ one month later after need material received. Finished job is very good.

Those are the guys I used two years ago to install some new gutters and fix old ones I had. They did what they were supposed to do. They were reasonably well placed. Everything went great! They were good. They did the job at a reasonable price. I have recommended them to friends of mine.

The new gutters have screens, which prevents leaves from getting in. They guys were as nice as they could be and the gutters look good.

Working with Aquatech went very smoothly, from quote to completion. Everyone was punctual, the price quoted for rain gutters was on par with other A-list providers and they were the only 'good' contractor I could find who was willing to complete a band-aid solution for my ailing patio cover. Everyone else insisted on either tearing the whole thing down or at least redoing the whole roof rather than simply replacing rotten beams, even though they seemed to agree most the beams/rafters had at least 5 years left in them. I think the guys did a very good job considering what they had to work with. For both gutters (which look and perform great) and the patio cover (which performs great and looks pretty good), they were careful and thorough, and especially with the patio cover they were creative and very flexible. My only gripe is that they used a dark colored sealant on the roof of the patio cover (which is steel and plastic panels over wood lattice) so from the second floor window overlooking the patio cover, it looks like a bird pooped all over it...I think the workers who installed the roof (who were very, very young) gave that little consideration. They also left the product label strips all over the sheeting but the owner came back and removed all of it when he installed an extra section of gutter we had at first opted out of. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would hire them again.

I am a former small-business owner with reasonable, but also exacting, expectations and standards. It is rare that I have had a contracting experience that I would be able to give all A's in a service rating, but Aquatech/Soltech in San Diego gets an A+ in all categories! I contacted them through Angie's list and received a phone call from the owner/manager, Andrew Merrick to set an appointment within just three days. When he came to do the estimate, Andrew was on-time, listened carefully to what I wanted done, thoroughly explained the features of Alumawood patio covers, reviewed all the design and color options, took measurements, and laid out the project process and timing. For a reasonable extra charge, he added a design change that I wanted to do. The very next morning, he emailed a detailed project proposal for my review. We scheduled a start date for the next week. On the day the project started, his crew showed up exactly on time and completed the demolition of the existing, termite-ridden, wood patio cover. They worked steadily through the day, in extreme heat, removed the old patio cover and hauled away everything, leaving the backyard absolutely immaculate! For the next 2 days, Andrew and his crew installed the new Alumawood cover. Mr. Merrick and his crews were very professional, worked really hard, even in 100-degree heat, and completed the entire project and demolition in just 3 days, leaving me with a beautiful new patio cover and an immaculately clean work site. On the last day, we noticed that there was one cap missing on one of the lattice pieces and the very next morning, they came and installed it... And I didn't even have to call, or remind them, or follow-up...it was just DONE! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a job done that will reflect the pride of ownership and craftsmanship that shows in the work of Andrew Merrick, his staff, and Aquatech/Soltech.

They were on time and did great work. They were very helpful throughout the entire process. The color of the gutters matched perfectly with color of the house.

Even with Angie's List coupon, the price quoted to me was double the price of the company we ended up going with, despite both using the same type of aluminum rain gutters. Other than that, the person who came out to give us the estimate was very personable. We just went with the lower price at another reliable company.

Andrew came to my home to inspect the area for the gutters and we determined that some of the fascia boards should be replaced before proceeding. He provided helpful suggestions and the contractor referral was excellent. When the installers came to put up the new gutters and downspouts they were very polite and considerate. They completed the work in a timely professional manner. Working with Andrew and his crew was quite a positive experience and I'd recommend this company to anyone needing gutters and downspouts.

It went great. In our initial appointment, the representative came, showed us samples of the different choices we had, we discussed the options until we were satisfied with the proposal and he measured the space. The next day, they sent the estimate and we agreed to do it. We set up a time to start the work and they finished the work on time, actually very fast and we are very pleased with it. We had a couple of minor issues, but they were fixed to our satisfaction. We have received many compliments on the patio cover. It is exactly what we wanted.

Aqua Tech Rain Gutters were extremely pleasant and prompt in all our calls and appointments. Their estimate was amazingly low and didn't cost a penny more. I plan on using them again to install some additional rain gutters before winter. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing rain gutters.
