When I called in August was great! they explained everything properly. The issue was once the movers arrived to my house. The person in charge changed the price on me to start of. Complained that boxes were too heavy. Refused to move some boxes instead of repacking them himself so that they were to his standards. The entire time he kept complaining like a child that it was too much stuff to move. When it comes to paperwork be aware that they pressure you to sign things without giving you a chance to read. The movers were too lazy to remove my fridge doors so they ended making multiple dents and a giant deep scratch on my fridge door. At the end he also try to trick me into signing that nothing was damaged. I wouldn't sign and he became upset about it. He then tried to make me sign a blank document. I refused and asked him why that blanked document needed to be signed. He said that it was proof he gave me a pamphlet which I knew was a complete lie. He was trying to get me to sign that they were not responsible for the damages they lost one of our large shelves and were unable to tell us anything about where it had went. I spoke with them office who had be submit a claim online, but it has been over 3 months since submitting the claim without any response or update to the status of it. overall my move From San Francisco to Palm Springs was awful !!!

I highly recommend this company. They arrived on time and got the job done in 3 hours. Complete professionals. They charge a 3-hour minimum but their rate is highly competitive, so I came out ahead anyway. They came prepared with packing materials and tools. They wrapped the things that needed protection and everything arrived in great condition. They managed a tough unloading situation (my fault) and made it work. Best moving experience ever.

Wow, this was the first time I used any movers despite having moved four times in the past three years. I'm never doing it myself again.
Eagle moving and storage  made everything so seamless I felt guilty not lifting a finger. In the past years I would always ask some friends but great as they are you can't guarantee the efficiency, care and robustness you get from actual professionals (nor can you get insurance from your friends). 
The team (Ricardo , John , Nicolas) that helped me and my boyfriend move from our fifth floor apartment to our three story house (tight stairs too!) was quick and friendly. They really want to make sure they move everything as safe and efficient as possible so we can get to the next exciting part of moving - unpacking all the boxes. If this is your first time using movers you may feel like a rich brat not doing the heavy lifting, but these guys really make the process so much simpler and effective. They also took apart and pieced back together our furniture in a blink of an eye, in comparison to the hours it took me last time. 
In conclusion, Fair Price Movers provided great movers and made our move a whole lot easier.

I had a standard two hour window for my movers to show up at my apartment. Fortunately they arrived 15 minutes into that window, so I was really hopeful. Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed was that the lead mover had a very heavy accent. He did not really understand me and I did not really understand him. That was frustrating for the both of us. One thing that I tried to make sure of was that everything was already packed in boxes, so that the move would go quicker. For the important items (my bed and sofa) I purchased a protective covering. I asked to have my sofa wrapped so that it would be protected while in storage. However, I did not want anything else wrapped by the movers because I knew I would need to pay for materials. I was told specifically how much the sofa would cost to wrap, but all my other things would just be protected to get it to storage and then taken off, so I agreed to it. Also, I was told that the use of other materials such as the blankets and tape were included in the hourly rate. Once the movers started moving out my things , I noticed that although I had three guys it took forever for them to come back from taking boxes or furniture out to the truck. It should have taken 1 1/2 hours max to get everything onto the truck, but instead it took 3 1/2. That is not an exaggeration, because most of my stuff was gone from the apartment within the 1st hour. Also they left empty tape rolls all over the apartment for me to clean up. When we got to the storage unit, I realized that I got a size too small, because they just stood there and laughed. Luckily, I had an extra unit which I started putting boxes in. Once they were finally finished filling the unit, the lead mover gave me my bill which was jaw dropping. I was charged over $150 for materials which was about $140 over what I was quoted. I was also charged double time for a reason of which I am still confused. The storage unit was only 10 minutes away from my apartment, so there was no real commute time. I always budget more for a move, because something unexpected always happens, but I was charged double what it should have cost. The only really good thing I can say about one of the movers is that he got my stuff to fit the inadequate storage space. That did not make up for everything else, but it definitely was appreciated. This company will not be used by me again.
