The repair person, Gary arrived late morning - clean, well-spoken and professional. He pulled out the refrigerator and determined the problem quickly. After insulating the offending parts, and cleaning the air intake area, he noticed the doors were not hanging correctly. As a courtesy, he quickly adjusted the doors so they were hung well. Gary was very friendly and professional in his demeanor.

My wall oven was turning itself off. I called Zajic and they agreed to make a service call even though I live on the outskirts of their service area. They were prompt, helpful, professional and pleasant. The initial diagnosis was not correct, but it's a tricky problem and it seemed to be OK when the technician left. The problem resurfaced and they returned, this time with a new electronics board and did not charge me for the visit. The new board turned out to be damaged -- it was in an unopened box, but the part was cracked and did not work. Zajic ordered another board, made a third visit and this time the problem appears to be solved. The problem was not obvious but they were diligent and only charged for one of the service calls. They also honored my Angie's List discount. I would definitely recommend Zajic and will not hesitate to call again in the future.

Best appliance repair we have ever had. Scheduling the appointment was easy and convenient. Showed up in the designated 2 hour window. Repairman was very familiar with our Bosch dishwasher, and went straight to the problem and corrected it. Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We will definitely call them next time we need an appliance repair.

My experience with Zajic Appliance Service was excellent, top notch. Zajic initially had me contact the manufacturer's recall division to check if I could have the dishwasher serviced at no charge to me; unfortunately for me, the recall didn't apply to my dishwasher. I then called Zajic again to set up an appointment, at my convenience (on a Saturday). Gary arrived right on time (in a two-hour window), fixed the problem, and was on his way in about a half hour. Gary was very professional, competent and courteous. It was a pleasure working with him and Zajic Appliance Service. I highly recommend them!

The repairman arrive on Friday, August 19, 2011 during the interval that had been given. He went straight to work. He quickly removed the defective element and determined he did not have the necessary replacement part. He called the office to indicate he needed part, asked if one was available at the office or whether one would have to be ordered. They indicated one was at the store. He told me he could come back the next day and complete the repair. He then gave me a price for the repair. I said isn't it customary to pay after the job was completed and he told me that if it were his business, he would ask for a deposit because in the past customers had stilled him by going out and purchasing the part and doing the job themselves, but it was the policy of this company to not ask for any payment until the job was complete. I then asked if the price would be the same when he finished the job even though he had to come back a second time. He said it would and he left. On Saturday, August 20, 2011, again the same repairman arrive during the specified time interval. He suggest I should turn off the fuse to the oven. I asked him about the 10 percent discount for Angie's List members. He said "yea if you printed it out." I said I had. He proceeded to replace the defective heating element, which took less that five minutes, recomputed the charge, this time taking into account the 10 percent discount, asked me for the discount coupon and quoted me the revised repair cost. I gave him the coupon, but noted that he had not even turned the oven on to make sure the oven was working. I said " I want to see if it works before I pay." After no response he turned on the oven, waited a few seconds and touched the element to see if it was warming up. After determining the element was heating up, he again quoted me the price. Again I said "I want to see if it's working." He said you can touch the element and see its heating up. I repeated I wanted to see it work. He huffed, kind of under his breath "You want to see it work," and went back to doing some paperwork. I would note that when we first realized the oven was not working, the element would warm up, but would only heat up to around 200 degrees. I waited until the element got red hot and heated to over 300 degrees. After I was satisfied that the oven was working, I handed him a check, he said in a tone I thought was sarcastic "Have a nice day" and left. The repair was fine. I was not happy with the attitude of the repairman. Considering the complexity of the job, I thought the cost was somewhat high, but I suspect it or near the going rate for this repair. Other than the repairman, the repair was fine. However, his attitude was enough to make me likely go elsewhere for repairs in the future.,

husband called company told them the window in my oven was broke, they asked for the product numbers off the oven and told us where to find them. They stated they would order the part and he would be able to repair it on that friday the 8th of july, gave us an approximate cost and repied yes to coupon on Angie's list. he repaired it with in 1/2 hour of arriving. He cleaned up his mess. We thanked him, paid him and he left. Good Job!!!

The repairs were done promptly, and the technician did not leave a mess behind.

Quickly determined the problem and located the part. Very timely repair. Thye understood how difficult it was to manage a home without a washer.

The office called in the morning to ask if they could come earlier, and then again to announce arrival time. The 22-year-old Maytag refrigerator repair was 'pre-diagnosed' as the repairer came with the necessary part, a condenser fan motor. Mark confirmed the needed repair and completed the work efficiently. In addition, he confirmed my request to reposition the refrigerator myself, and also answered questions and gave helpful recommendations about ice-maker problems/solutions. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. I might add that I 'inherited' Maytag refrigerator, washer and dryer when I bought the house 15 years ago from an owner who kept immaculate records and had purchased them from a now defunct business. As far as I know, these repairs on the refrigerator and washer are the only ones needed in all that time!

Before offering to send a technician come out for a service call, they were very helpful in troubleshooting my issue with me over the telephone attempting to rule out several possibilities. When all efforts were exhausted, a service call was performed. The diagnosis was made and replacement parts were ordered. The parts took a while to come in--no fault of Zajic--but once they did, I was happy to learn they make Saturday appointments. Mike the technician arrived at my house exactly on time and my oven is working better than before.

The 20 year old Jenn-Air oven in our kitchen stopped turning on and sensing temperatures properly. The repair guy was exactly on time and had diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes (the electronics had gone bad - not surprising with the age and the heat). He didn't charge us for the initial visit, which I thought was great, and he provided an estimate for both repair and replacement later that day, just as he said he would. We opted for repair and again he was on time and had the job done in less than 1/2 hour. The oven has been working perfectly since his visit. I'm glad I found Zajic's on Angie's List - they certainly live up to their excellent reputation.

Based on their recommendation we decided to purchase a new dryer through them. They in turn gave us a $30 rebate. My wife was incredibly pleased. They delivered the dryer and were careful not to scrape either the walls or the floors. They fitted everything before they left; meaning that they put on the exhaust hose connecting the dryer to the wall. They connected the extension cord which is a 3 pronged. They made sure everything was balanced and they did not leave until everything was set and ready to go. In fact, they ran the dryer a couple of minutes before they left. I was very happy when they did leave but I was ready to start using the dryer immediately which I did. Every person that I've used from Angie's List has all done what they said they were going to do. I had absolutely no problem.

Gary arrived on time and checked on our several issues and went right to work. Within an hour all was finished and done properly. Also, gave us our discount thru Angie's List which helped the bill. Good Job!

We have had them out three times for different things. The last time around, I wasn?t here but my husband was. They were responsive - they got to us within 48 hours. They fixed the problem and told us that we probably didn?t need a new refrigerator for another five years, which was good to know; we were apprehensive that we might have to replace it. We have not used a repair service like this before, but their price seemed reasonable. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

good, except I found out that the refrigerator was turned off, but no one in the house had turned it off. Apparently the temperature adjustment got bumped enough times to the point that eventually it got turned off.

Zajic's service rep arrived on time and completed the repair withing 1/2 hour. The price was right on with the ballpark estimate given on the phone. I was very pleased with Zajic.

5 yr old washer began leaking, I initially called Bud's Plumbing. When they inspected the washer, I was referred by them to Zajic Appliance. Within days the washer was back and running with a replaced pump. My tenants were happy! Thank you Zajic!

I called them about my dishwasher. They told me to go out to my electrical box and turn off my electricity for 3 minutes and then turn it back on. They didn't even have to send someone out. I think that's really good public relations, if I ever have another appliance problem I will call them. They gave me the solution over the phone and it worked, that's amazing. It was something about the timing of the cycles and it would reset itself if you shut off the power. That worked like a charm and I haven't had any other problems. I thought that was extremely telling of what kind of business they had. It sounds like they are honest and wouldn't nickle and dime you to death.

I had an excellent experience with Zajic. I called on Monday (12/13) and they gave me an appointment for today (12/15). They said to call back this morning to find out what the 2 hour window would be for my service call. When I called in, they said they would have someone here between 1 pm and 3 pm. The technician showed up at 2:15 pm, and it took him about 20 minutes to fix the problem. I was very pleased with his work and I asked him several questions about my gas oven and he was happy to answer all of them. I would definitely call them again for appliance repair service.

He was prompt, professional & took care of the problem plus a little extra.

The tech that came out was very efficient and fixed the problem in less than half an hour. The washer has been working normally to date. Given the scent of the struggling motor when the washer was set to spin, he could have charged me for an expensive new motor, but found the root cause and repaired it for less than $100. Excellent service.

My washer wouldn't start (although the dryer would). I called Zajic, and they started by giving me a few troubleshooting suggestions over the phone. No success, so I scheduled an appointment (earliest was the next day). I called around 8:30 a.m. that day to get the ETA. He arrived on time and was polite and friendly. It was a simple fix, and I was charged a fair price. The tech showed me what was wrong, and how to fix it if it happens again in the future!

The best in the business! Why would you use anyone less expert?

When I called to request service, the individual I spoke with was very helpful and courteous. The service repairman was very efficient and professional. I would use this company again.
