I was kicking around the idea of getting quotes for a garage door tune-up and possibly purchasing a new garage door opener. Every time I opened the door, I heard loud banging and squeaking noises. I submitted a request for 3 quotes through HomeAdvisor. The owner, Basem T, of Saint Mary Garage Doors called within 5 minutes of requesting a quote! He was very nice on the phone and offered to come out and inspect the garage door within the hour. He was very polite, honest, and he did not try to upsell any services. In fact, he said that the garage door opener was fine but the door itself needed repairing and a tune-up. He had all repair tools on-hand as well as a few brand-new garage door openers to choose from - still in unopened boxes. He quoted me 2 hours time to complete the job right then and there. He broke out the price per job (door repair, new parts/material, installation). This guy is a pro! I was so impressed I hired him on the spot. I chose to change out the door opener for the new ultra-quiet belt drive motor because of our kid’s bedroom was on the other side of the wall. I will recommend for any garage door needs to all family, friends, coworkers, and you folks reading this review!

Project: Repair a Garage Door Basem was very knowledgeable about garage doors and he led me through the process of fixing my garage door. He corrected the problems and gave advice on moving items away from the garage door. He did a great job and save me some money. I would recommend him to fix any garage door problems.

He came in 30 minutes and took 2.5 hours but very knowledgeable and gave advice and we will follow up on his advice

Quick response. Replaced both torsion springs, added metal support bracket for j-bar, lubricated hinges and wheels and tuned garaged door opener. Educated customer on spring selection, lubricants, and homeowner maintenance.
