Rich's Hauling & Yard Cleanup

Rich and his co-worker did an excellent job. We called him and left a message, and he returned our call right away. He was able to schedule the work within a few days of our contact. He actually came on a Sunday and arrived right on time. It only took them about 3 hours to clean up a yard that had been neglected for about 5 years. He was very courteous and talked through with us what we wanted to have done. He was considerate, and left the area clean. He did a few more things for the same price from the estimate. Our kids were so excited to be able to play in the backyard again, thanks to Rich's great job! Highly recommend him!

Rich called back promptly and we arranged a good time and date to pick up some junk that had to go to the dump, enough to fill the back of a truck. He and his friend arrived on time, assessed what needed to be done, got to work and they were in and out within 15 minutes. It could not have gone better. If i was not moving out of the area, I would you him again. He even wished me good luck with my move.

Great! Called me back within an hour of my message yesterday, was at my house first thing this morning to do the job! We have a HUGE front yard, covered over 50% with high foxtails. He gave me an estimate and timeframe for the job. After about 1'ish hours, he let me know he didn't think he could complete the entire job in the timeframe or cost estimated as it was much bigger than expected (orginial estimate wasn't done in person, just over phone). He said he could come back with more guys to tackle the job if I wished. He knew it was very important to me to get the job done very, very well (ie; few or no loose foxtails on the ground when they were done - trying to head off vet bills for foxtail removals in my dog) and didn't think he could do it in the original timeframe. This completely made sense to me given the scope of my yard mess! ** He offered to not charge me for the work he had already done (2 guys, over an hour, a lot of work got done!). What a guy! I had him finish the area he was working on and another smaller (less weedy) area still and I did insist on paying him for the work he had done. When they left, the area ~400 sq' had been cut, raked and swept repeatedly. They did a GREAT job of getting about 90% of the loose foxtails off the ground. It looks great and I am very pleased. Rich is honest and does very good work. I would definetly recommend him to anyone and would rehire him to do more for me again. Great communication, work, honesty and turn-around time. Thanks!

I called Rich and told him what I needed done, he quoted a price and we made arrangements for him and his crew to come Sunday. He called the day before and said they could be there by 8am. They arrived a little before 8, looked at my yard told me his price and what they would do and started to work. Rich gave me some recommendations to follow when his work was complete. He was very professional and I would recommend his service to anyone who needed similar work done. The yard looks great the pool looks great and they did it in about two hours. While my six year old granddaughter was watching Rich and his crew work out the window she said to me “Wow they picked a good job because they were good at it!”

As typical with Rich and his crew, they were punctual and ready to tackle my projects. The price I was quoted was more than fair and stayed the same at the end of the day. Their workmanship and work-ethic is superior. Being a woman-home-owner I can be sure that the job will be completed correctly the first time and I will not be taken advantage of.

He was very interested in doing the work and told me he would call me in a few days to come by and give me an estimate. The next evening he called and told me he had a cancellation for the upcoming weekend and asked if he could come by and give me an estimate. He arrived exactly on time, looked at my yard and gave me an estimate below what I was expecting. Looking at my yard, Rich told me what he and his crew would do and then gave me some recommendations to follow when his work was complete. He was very professional and I would recommend his service to anyone who needed similar work done.

Rich did a great job getting my yard all cleaned up and ready for spring. I had a massive leaf problem and also needed some help cleaning out some large pots. He was very punctual and professional. Extremely easy to work with. My yard looks great! Very happy!

Highly satisfied! Rich was prompt and very responsive. We had to revisit scheduling a few times and he was always quick to respond to email (which was very convenient). Not only did he pick up stuff we could not put in a garage sale, but he swept out the garage once all of the items had been loaded in his truck. Very nice guy!

They showed up just a bit early - so very punctual. They went straight to work. They were dedicated to the work. They cleaned up everything. The yard was ready for the next stage. Unfortunately, they did accidentally cut two of my sprinkler drip lines trying to get out all the old shubbery. I wish they had told me that before they left so that I could fix them right away. For the price and their overall work and politeness, I would use them again.

Rich responded to my call immediately, set a date and provided a clear quote. He arrived exactly on time, and within 10 minutes, I had reclaimed the garage for the quote provided. Very professional, and I would definitely recommend his services to others.

It went very well. Rich quickly responded to my initial inquiry and gave me a minimum estimate over the phone. We agreed upon a date for him to come out, and if I approved the estimate he would be ready to work immediately. He gave me an estimated time of arrival with a one hour window, and he called the morning of our appointment to give me a firmer time. He brought another person with him and after a walk through, he finalized his estimate, which was fair, and began work immediately. He seemed to have a lot of equipment to help him do the job. He invited me to come out after about an hour to give him any "coaching" I thought necessary. Although it was not part of my original request, I asked if he would fix a fence board for me, and he kindly agreed to do so. He thought that he would have room in his truck for additional hauling and invited me to bring out anything else that I might want hauled away. He and his co-worker were polite and professional and worked together for approximately 3.5 hours with no breaks. They left no mess whatsoever. After seeing what he did, I realized that there was no way I could have done it myself over a weekend, which is what I kept intending to do until I finally realized that wasn't going to happen. My yard is now in tip-top shape after almost a year of neglect due to me being "just too busy" to keep up on yard chores. This weekend happens to have beautiful weather, and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in my yard. I absolutely recommend hiring Rich. He does good work, and I felt very comfortable having him in my yard.

Cris and three workers arrived early and worked through the whole day without taking a break. They were nice and professional. Not only did they prune and remove the vegetation, per the estimate, they raked up the area around the back of my house and took those leaves away with them too. They went above and beyond my expectations. Removing English ivy is NOT easy. They took it down to the ground level. My yard is now ready for rototilling and spring planting. I will hire these guys again the next time I need this type of work.

Everything was fine, and they were good. They showed up when they said they would and did a good job without any supervision. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

He did not call back when he said he would, he tried hard in the end to help me, but the time frame did not work out for me. I did not have alot of flexibility in the time frame. I might try him again if the situation came up.

I called and felt he was very straight with me from the start as to when he could come look at our property which was a few days later. We had a large area where yard debris had been dumped which he would have cleaned up the day he came to give us a quote, but he was very straight with us that the job would be better serviced by a large crew. We did not realize how much had been dumped behind our back fence until we met him there. We appreciated his honesty.

They did everything we asked. There was nothing we disliked. They came on time and worked all day. They did a great job and I couldn't ask for anything better.

He was great. He works with your schedule, he is dependable and prompt, and he is professional and pleasant.

Rich Custer and his helper did a great job. He was professional, prompt, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, not everything was completed, but that was not his fault. While removing the stones and other debris, they ran into a wasp nest that stung Rich several times. He was gracious about it and I paid him the full amount that he had quoted when he first came out because of the problem he encountered. However, I would hire him again under better circumstances (making sure there were no stinging insects.)

Rich defied my service expectations. He went above and beyond the call of duty by delivering my friend and my TV to another location. He was prompt, flexible, courteous, and provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I will offer his name to those in my circle whenever they ask for the services that he provides. Rich, you are the man! Rich and his crew arrived on time, went right to work and did a wonderful job. They pulled out all the ivy, weeds and other trimmings. Rich even offered to haul away some old concrete and trash, since he was going to the dump anyway. In all it took a total of about 6 hours. It turned out to be less than originally estimated, and Rich reduced his estimate. I would recommend Rich Custer to anyone that needed yard or handyman service. He is honest, hard working and reliable. I plan on calling him again in the future for other projects.

Very well. Very, very responsive and came and picked up the trash earlier than initially planned. Polite and professional. Apologized that I had to pay for a full load even though I did not have that much; regardless, I needed to get it removed quickly and the price was worth it to me.

He was excellent. They did an excellent job. They cleaned it up beautifully because it was a mess. Rich Custer is his name and he does one-time yard cleanup. He did a beautiful job and he tried to fix anything that was broken. His price was fair. We would certainly hire him in the future.
