Rich's Hauling & Yard Cleanup

Two workers took approx. 6 hrs to complete the job. They did a wonderful job! I had a similar job done about 4 yrs. ago paid twice the price & was very disappointed. I will definitly use them again and will recomend them to everybody.

Showed up on time, threw himself into the work and was done promptly. Nice guy, too. :)

I wanted to put my home for sale immediately and had a Realtor appointment on Saturday, so called Rich on Tuesday afternoon. He came Wednesday morning to walk through what I needed. He told me to put the things I wanted to keep in one spot and the rest will go. He did the work on Thursday and called me do to a final walk through. Everything looked great! My front yard - as bad as it looked before - actually looked like it was regularly maintained, and the backyard is just as I hoped it would look. I'm very happy with the speed, professionalism, and consideration Rich and his services provided. He even bought me a Popsicle from the ice cream truck while waiting for me to show up for the walk-through. I've already recommended him to a friend. A pleasure to work with!

Rich was very prompt and courteous both when answering my call to check out his service as well as once he arrived to perform the job. I enjoyed talking with him during the cleanup (always makes cleanup go quicker). I also appreciated the coupon offer on Angie's list to reduce the cost. I did not expect to get such quick service. The yard sure looks so much better now. Thanks!

Rick was punctual, polite, professional, and courteous. The price was a bit steep in my opinion but he and his crew got the job and done right. Worth the extra $. I would recommend with one caveat. Negotiate a good price with Rick. He is flexible with his quote.

Rich arrived quickly that morning and began removing the items. He was friendly and pleasant, and went above and beyond what I needed by removing some old wood and other junk items as well. He finished the job quickly. I was very pleased with Rich's service and his pleasant manner. I highly recommend him to anyone needing some help.

Items in our garage needed to be tossed after an unexpected flood. They were prompt and efficient, they cleared the debris in less than 30 minutes. The best part is they also hauled away items that were not impacted by the flood: lawnmower and TV .. I recommend them.

Rich made a special trip on his way home from vacation to give me an estimate. The work was done the next day. He and his crew were on time, courteous and efficient. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Rich answered the phone promptly and scheduled for the very next day. He arrived on time and prepared. He came with one other worker. My job was a small one but important to me. Rich offered to do alot more and had good suggestions for how to control the weeds, etc in the yard. He was very thorough in asking what I wanted and followed my instructions exactly. I was very pleased with the result and will definitely call him again.

Rich answered his phone on my first call and came the next afternoon exactly on time to provide a quote - which was extremely reasonable. We scheduled the work right then, and he arrived the following Monday on time (actually a bit early) and did all the work agreed to as well as a couple of last-minute add ons for an extremely reasonable additional fee. He did an outstanding job - I even paid him a bit more than agreed to because of his excellent work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Rich and Marty arrived on time, did exactly what I asked and cleaned up everything before leaving. They worked hard and took only a few short breaks. No wasted time. Both Rich and Marty are great guys--people you'd like to have as friends. They were kind, respectful and good to my dogs. I will DEFINITELY use them again.

Rich and another fellow spent all morning (about 5 hours) trimming bushes and trees in the front and back yard. They also hauled away an accumulation of household items and other miscellaneous stuff. Their pick up truck, with the sideboards attached, was completely filled with stuff when they left. Rich was very thorough in confirming what needed to be done in the front and back yard.

I cannot begin to explain how great Rich is. He showed up on time, didn't care what was on the debris pile, loaded everything and offloaded by himself. Two trips done in about 1 1/2 hours. On top of that he helped me remove two rows of upper cabinets in about 15 minutes and took to the dump as well. He is extremely professional and was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use again!

Rich was here exactly at 7am. Everything done that I asked him to do plus more. All cleaned up and hauled off by 930am absolutely outstanding.

Rich arrived for the estimate slightly early-amazing! He was courteous and professional. We agreed on a date and time he would return to do the work. He and his partner arrived right on time. He was willing to go above and beyond what we had previously discussed. He even apologized when he thought I might be disappointed in the final result - which actually turned out better than I had expected! They pulled out two truck loads of debris and left the area CLEAN. Rich never complained. He was extremely polite. Again, during the whole process he remained courteous and professional, even though it was more difficult than he had anticipated. I WILL hire him again and will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and neighbors. Thanks Rich!

Rich & his crew of 3 young men arrived promptly @ 8a.m. They worked quietly @ 1st, so as not to disturb the neighbors. They cleaned up the very over grown front & back yards in only 5 hours. They worked hard, & smart, & took few breaks just to stay hydrated. They filled up a 40 yard dumpster w/ bushes, trees, & debris in no time at all. They even made suggestions as to which plants to remove & which ones to keep. They limbed up the trees nicely. There were no complaints, they just wanted to make sure the yard was cleaned up the way we wanted it. They would not stop until we were happy.

After reading the reviews -- thanks, folks! -- I called Rich at 7 a.m. this morning. He was here with a colleague at 9 a.m. It's not even noon and they're done and on the way to the dump. I cannot recommend him enough. He was fast, hard-working, thorough, smart and a pleasure to work with.

They arrived when they said they would, the worked non-stop and finished in a timely fashion. Would highly recomend them.

Like I said I would use him again and I also reccomend him to others if they want the job done right. He came at the time we settled on and within 2 hours he was done and there was a lot to do.

Emailed Rich Sunday evening. He called and left message within 10 minutes. My daughter called him next morning, and he came to do an estimate that afternoon. We just purchased the house and the garden had plants that were more than three feet tall and covered the entire alleys and back of yard. In front all the buses were overgrown to the point we could not even move in the furniture. Rich and his crew had scheduled Friday to come, but were free a day early and called to ask if they could come then. This was a great help. He arrived promptly in the morning and finished the job quickly and thoroughly. Because it took him less time to complete the job, he REDUCED his price from $625 to $600. We highly recommend Rich for yard work as well as general cleanup and hauling. He is knowledgeable, professional, and diligent.

He came out and removed the old dirt in a flower bed area. He then placed a weed fabric down to prevent new weeds from growing. We then went, got new dirt, and spread it. They guy he sent out worked really hard.

Rich was very responsive to my request for a quote, actually answering the phone without my having to leave a message. He told me right up front that there would be a minimum charge of $250 given my Folsom location which is out of his normal area. He gave me his email address and asked that I send him a description of the job, which I did that evening. I also included pictures of the items listed in my scope of work. Rich called me within 48 hours of receiving my email and we scheduled a time for him to come out and look at the yard. His quote of $500 was twice what I paid last summer to have the same work done, but since I was unable to reach the person who had tackled the job for me then, I agreed to Rich's price. We scheduled a date and time for the work. Rich arrived on the scheduled day right on time. He and Isaac completed all the work in just short of 4 hours, and they did an outstanding job. The shrub trimmings were raked up and hauled away; the weeds in the back lot were completely knocked down. I was impressed that they staged 3 fire extinguishers around the lot as a safety precaution during the weed-eating. They were easy to work with and they made sure I was completely satisfied with the result. Rich did tell me that he bought a new piece of equipment for this job - a field clearing weed eater, which is a walk-behind machine with a heavy duty trimmer line out front. It made me wonder if I financed the new tool and if the job might be a little less expensive if I call him back next year. Of course, I have to admit that I didn't try to negotiate; I took his estimate at face value. Bottom line - I agreed to the price and in the end, I am very pleased with the result and grateful that Rich agreed to do the job that I am not willing to do myself anymore.
