First of all, I have reviewed many companies on Angie's List and most reviews have been positive. I hope this negative review will serve as a warning to potential purchasers to not waste over $11,000 as we did on inferior carpeting. On 5/23/2017 we purchased wall-to-wall carpeting for the house from Marsh's Carpet (8375 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95758 916-714-8562) for $11,017.92. The carpet started wearing badly in the living room and we had it cleaned by Zerorez on 3/24/18. The carpet did not look any better, and Marsh's Carpet put a patch in the carpet on 4/9/18. The patch is obvious and we cannot sell our house with a patched carpet in the living room. The carpet also has stains that we are unable to remove with over-the-counter cleaners. Marsh's Carpet sent over an inspector who said the warranty does not cover the carpet, because the tears at the seams and the holes in the carpet were caused by Zerorez, and the stains could be removed by a licensed professional. We are stuck with a living room and hallway carpet that 15 months after purchase is patched and worn and has stains that we are unable to remove. Marsh's carpet refused to make any accommodation. In our complaint to the Better Business Bureau we asked that the living room and hallway carpet be replaced by Marsh's Carpet at their expense because we are unable to sell the house with a 15-month old carpet that is patched, worn, and stained. Zerorez is a nationwide company and a normal cleaning should not result in large holes in a ten-month-old carpet. The BBB was unable to help, and now we will have to replace the carpeting ourselves and take Marsh's Carpet to small claims court. I regret ever having done business with this company and will never buy anything from them again.

They were great people. They were a good company. They were pretty responsive. They came out and did the walk. They were very organized. I would recommend them. I didn't shop around for prices. The quality was good. They were above average.
