It was great.

His name is Terrell Williams and he is really a good person. He is a general contractor but we have basically used him as a carpenter. He has a list of things that he can do and it is a huge list. He has a website.

First off, Terrell is a true craftsman. If you have any home improvement project, you will not be disappointed with his work. I first called Terrell over the summer to get an estimate to replace a side entry door on my garage. He got back to me promptly and came out to the house to give me an estimate. Right away I knew I was dealing with a professional because he took his time to examine the door and frame and to make measurements. We discussed several different options for replacing the door and eventually decided that a steel door would be the best solution. We scheduled a date several weeks in the future (his scheduled gets booked up fast), and on that date he arrived at my house promptly, ready to work. He took his time to make sure the door was installed properly, carefully adding needed shims and making minor adjustments to ensure the door worked flawlessly. He even took away the old door and left the garage spotless. The new door is such an improvement over the old one, I'm kicking myself for not having it replaced sooner. More recently, he repaired an interior door in my house. The door (which had never been installed properly) had pulled the hinges out of the frame, and I thought it had damaged the frame beyond repair. I was expecting Terrell to say the door and frame needed to be completely replaced, but he thought he could make a few small repairs and have the door good as new. He was right. Terrell removed the existing door, repaired the hinges, repaired the frame, and rehung the door. Again he took the time to do things the right way and added small details that most people wouldn't notice but improved the fit and function of the door. The door is now in great shape and, like to garage door, works flawlessly. While working on the interior door, he also noticed that the front door to my house was slightly askew. With a few small corrections, he greatly improved the front door as well. Overall it was a great experience, and I would be happy to hire Terrell again.

This project was completed in a very satisfying manner. The craftsmanship is superb. The professionalism was superb. We have nothing but positive attitudes regarding the work done by Terrell Williams of Build Craft, Inc.

Overall it went well. It took longer than I expected, about 2 days, but he was very conscientious, careful to do a very good job. The sub-floor was uneven so he had to use plywood rather than particle board underlayment, which raised the price, but he had warned me about that possibility when he gave the estimate. He even slightly angled his cut of the 6' sheet linoleum to eliminate a seam that was in the doorway, about 6' 2" at that point. I was impressed since I was fully expecting a seam there. I would readily use him again, and in fact have already asked him for estimates on other work I need done.

I have used him about three to four times. He is very good at what he does.

We were completely satisfied with his work, his promptness, and his professionalism.

It went very well. He did not rush the project and while encountering an unexpected problem with the wiring, this did not bother him. He advised me of my options and proceeded as we agreed. As each task was completed he checked with me to make sure it was what I wanted.

Overall it went very well. We contacted Build Craft because they had done previous work for us that was very satisfactory. When our sliding glass door jammed and would not open, we contacted Terrell Williams. He came to our home within a week of the phone call, inspected our door. He determined that the sliding mechanism was broken and needed replacement. He recommended a glass repair company. We contacted the glass company and our door was repaired within 2 business days.

He had to get some cabinets and stuff to get microwave in. He is a good worker and honest. He is a Christian and I am one too. I recommend him. He does good work. Actually since he did the microwave and he delivered because he has worked on it for a while was a China Hutch to be finished and re-glued. I would use this company in the future.

It went very well. The gentleman was very thorough and did nice work. I would definitely use him again.

Terrell will be my go-to handy-man and woodworker from here on out because I had the following experience 1) He returned calls promptly, 2) set a schedule and arrived promptly, 3) performed very high quality work, and 4) did it all for a reasonable price. Terrel clearly cares that the job is done correctly. To complete this job required a lot of careful, time-consuming measurement, cutting, planing, chiseling and set-up. The fit of the doors is perfect with identical gaps all around and smooth operation. He's meticulous about his tools and the quality of his work. My house is 70 years old and so this was not just a hand and go job. The measure of a true craftsman is working on difficult projects like this. I have lots more projects to do in the future and I will call Build Craft.

I had just had my kitchen tiled and needed to find someone to fabricate a 12 foot transition strip between the new tile and the hardwood floor. The strip had to be designed for this situation because the tile was 2 inches above the hardwood floor at one end and 1 inch above it at the other end. I had several different types of contractors come out to look at my problem but only Terrell of Build Craft came up with a solution. He fabricated and finished it to match my maple flooring. He added a matching strip for the adjacent sliding door. He also fabricated new thresholds and cut my 2 kitchen doors so they would open over the new tile and ensured they were weather proof when closed. He finished by installing new baseboards in the kitchen and even touched up my hardwood floor where the tilers had marred it. Terrell came out the day after I called him. He looked at the area and carefully measured before giving me an idea of how he could fabricate a transition. I was impressed immediately by his attitude and asked him if he would add estimates on the other things that needed to be fixed since the tiling had been completed. He measured everything and sent me an estimate the next day. Terrell worked on the transition strip in his shop and came back to check the stain color to ensure the correct match a few days before returning with his father to install the transition and complete the other jobs. His work was immaculate but I was just as impressed by the way he and his father interacted with me. He checked with me whenever there was a choice of how something could be done, which he always clearly explained. Not only was the work immaculate but the kitchen and other work areas were spotless when they left. I will happily use Build Craft again. It was enjoyable to see them take such pride in their work.

It turns out my old kitchen sink faucet was rusted out and leaking from multiple places. I provided the faucet and he put it in. When he could not turn off the hot or cold shut off valves (due to more rusting) he made a special trip to the hardware store and bought new super duper 1/4 turn valves and installed them. When he finished I asked if he could install a toilet seat. He was happy to. He had to saw off the old bolts and it still only took him 15 mins or so. Not a real talkative guy, it seemed he wanted to be pointed at a problem so he could FIX IT. He did not call back the next day to see if all was still well, but he did excellent work so maybe he knows there is no need for that. Will use him again.

He worked quickly and efficiently. He was professional, friendly and easy to do business with. We would most definitely use his services again.

I started out with a recliner that needed to be repaired - there were some very heavy metal parts which were bent and needed to be realigned. I got his name through another home repair referral service and there were several good references from folks who had used him so I gave Mr. Williams a call. He returned my call very quickly and was easy to contact during the week when I was trying to get some time off of work so I could arrange a definite time. Once Mr. Williams arrived, I asked him if he could repair a leaky kitchen faucet and a door that is on my office desk that had broken off. He did all three things that I asked him to do. He was very professional, punctual and did the repairs well. I felt comfortable with him being in my home when it was just me at home which I personally feel is very important. He is also licensed. I will definitely use him again.
