Their work was excellent and Max did a fine job. Get a written estimate and look it over carefully and ask to see receipts. There may be unexpected extras.

I had collected a number of small things over a period of years that needed repair. The repairman even pointed out additional things that needed doing in order to prevent future problems. All repairs were completed in one long day with no need for a second trip or overtime charge. No cut corners either.

I had a problem with a Moen touch-free kitchen faucet. Mel Bowers has a busy schedule, but returned my calls and helped with procuring the replacement parts from the manufacturer. We made an appointment. He came on time and did a professional job on the needed repairs. Professional, courteous attitude, careful with the work and the house items around the work area. Nice to work with.

Very responsive and professional

This is a woefully belated review for Mel Bowers plumbing services. We suddenly lost hot water when the pilot went out on our relatively new hot water heater and did not stay on despite repeatedly restarting the pilot. Found Mel through Home Advisor, and chose to contact him based on rave reviews there and on yelp. What a find! He immediately responded to our inquiry through the Home Advisor website, and not only scheduled a quick service call but researched our hot water heater and arranged for the part replacement himself. Wow! He was highly professional and fixed the problem, explaining exactly what went wrong. Mel also patiently answered several other questions we had about unrelated plumbing issues, even quickly fixing a problematic toilet! We can't recommend him highly enough; Bowers Plumbing Service will always be our go-to plumber in the future.
