Chain Link Fence Repair or Alter
Out of all the companies I contacted both directly and through HomeAdvisor they were the only ones who responded. They quoted from photos and the work was of superb quality at a reasonable price for a small job. We had difficulty nailing down a time with them and they ended up doing the work from the outside of the fence and didn't let us known it was completed. We had agreed they could do it this way, so we were checking everyday, but an e-mail or text was expected at least. It was somewhat confusing to have the lack of clarity on timing. Even though we are practically in their backyard we could never manage to mesh schedules to give them the check, so we ended up mailing it. Not a problem since they never hounded us for the money, which we typically expect. I've asked them to quote a big fence job on the same property, the scheduling hit and miss aside we are extremely pleased with the quality of the repair and prefer to hire local.

Thomas, Adam and David were polite, professional, and efficient! Krysten the secretary co-owner of Family Fencing is nice and responds to my calls and emails immediately. I will recommend this company to friends and relatives if they need their fence replaced or repaired. I will hire them again if the fence on the sides need repair in the future. In my opinion they deserve five stars plus!

Wood Fence Repair
Don't put this up in the review. Men were fast and did a good job. I think it was very expensive for what they did, but I was in a bind and it had to be done immediately (fence repair only). I had expected the relatively simple repair job to be $500 but it was $750, 50% more than expected and budgeted.

I think when you factor in the labor for 2 men, the cost of materials, the use of our equipment and the overhead - $750 doesn't seem as high as it may have right off the top. We do our best to be fair and are very competitive when it comes to pricing. We are not the most expensive company but we are also not the cheapest because we do not cut corners and do cheap work. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, we use quality materials and do not cut corners that many other companies do in order to be cheap. We pride ourselves on quality over quantity. As a small family owned and operated business, the majority of our work comes from referrals because we are honest and do quality work that's built to last. We value you as a customer and appreciate your business. I would love to know how we could have improved our customer service if you don't mind sharing. Family Fencing does outstanding work. Thomas quickly responded to my request for an estimate and provided me with a bid the same day. He and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional. I am very particular and they all went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction and fulfill all my special requests, such installing some custom hardware I had on my old gate onto my new gate. They use high quality materials that are built to last, look beautiful, and function perfectly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting quality work for a competitive price!
