Initially I called and left a message, when I received no response, I sent an email. I got a very friendly call back from Christine who assured me that the dates we needed for our move were available (12/2 or 12/3), and that she just needed to come out and do a quick quote and write up a contract. We made an appointment for Friday 11/19. She indicated she would call around 3:00pm to firm up the time. On Friday, we received no calls, nor did anyone show up. After several calls over the weekend, Christine called again to apologize for missing our appointment due to "a bad move in bad weather". We rescheduled for Tues 11/23 early evening. Again, no one showed, nor called, nor do we have any idea what happened to them. Now, with the holiday approaching, we were left with NO ONE to move us. This is the poorest excuse for customer service I have experienced. I would never recommend such a fly by night company. To get last minute move services, we spent an additional $500.
Description of Work: We contacted Amador movers for a local move. Twice we were assured that we were "penciled in" for December 1 or 2. They missed their first appointment with us due to "unforeseen problems" with a move. Then, missed a second appointment and we have yet to hear why.
