Called at 11 AM, worker arrived by 12:30. He was friendly and finished quickly. Great service.

He completed the job in a very short time. He had all the materials he needed in his service van. He also used a machine inside his van to make the correct adjustments to the keys and locks. We were very impressed with Altadena Lock and Key's work ethics and service attitude. We found Mr. Almanza to be courteous, professional, and efficient with rekeying and installing new quickset doorknob kits for us. We feel lucky to have found him. We highly recommend Altadena Lock and Key if you want to have excellent work done without breaking the bank! (In fact, a week later we asked Altadena Lock and Key to perform work at a family member's house nearby. That job was more complicated and required drilling holes into solid wood. If I have time, I will post a separate review for that job done a week later.)

They were able to schedule me for the same day. The tech was prompt, courteous, and did a good job. He also made several additional keys for me on the spot. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

The service tech arrived promptly for our appointment and rekeyed all the external door locks. He was fast and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were able to schedule quickly and when the technician was slightly delayed the office called to inform me exactly when he would be arriving. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He also showed great attention to detail and customized the installation to fit the specific demands of the door.

Called AAA and they referred me to Autotech Lock and Key and estimate need was $300. I then saw this company on Angies and he did it in 2 hours for 135. Excellent service and ignition now is as good as new.

Jorge came by for an estimate. We scheduled a time to do the work on a Friday afternoon. I left early from work (had to take a half a vacation day) to wait for him to come over to change locks on 6 doors. He never showed up. I called and called the offices, but no one picked up and there was no answering machine. Very unprofessional, to not even call or follow up. I ended up having Aand R Lock come out the follow day. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

I called at 9:00 AM and described the problem I had with the deadbolt lock. I was tole someone would be there within an hour. 45 minutes later Luis arrived and repaired the lock within 15 minutes. Terrific service.

They came 15 minutes early, worked fast and clean, and charged me a reasonable price. I hadn't mentioned the truck ignition, but when I showed it to him, he said he could do it, but needed to go get the part. He left and returned promptly. No complaints.

The lock smith was punctual and professional. He could have charged me for installing new locks, but offered to rebuild my lock instead. I have a high-quality lock, and the cost. After a few days, the lock was sticking, and they returned promptly, free of charge.

Altadena Lock and Key Shop really went out of his way for us. We were very happy with the quality of the pieces and the quality of his work. He is just an all around nice guy and was very timely. He even threw in extra keys for us which are normally $4.75 each. It was a great experience.

For $100 (lowest quote I got), he was a little late (<15minutes) but worked quickly. There was something wrong with my front door knob, but he somehow made it worse. This may or may not have been his fault. (Note: as a rule, I do NOT give the usual "Angie's List Gentleman's A's". But don't read my relatively poor grades as a knock against the service provider.)

He arrived on time, got the job done quickly and cleanly, and was very professional. Nice guy. I'll definitely use this company again.

My Front door lock was coming loose so I called Altadena Lock and Key. They were able to come out the same day. They scheduled the appointment within the hour and arrived 15 minutes earlier than the stated appointment time. Jorge the technician was clean, organized and professional. He finished the job in about 20 minutes and it works better now than it did before. I would definitely use them again.

It was so smooth, I'm so pleased. They were able to come to my house within a few hours of calling. The lock was changed and the extra keys made within minutes very painless.

Very good. I called them around 10 AM on Friday morning and asked for the latest appointment possible so I didn't have to miss much work. They said they'd be willing to go as late as 7 PM - more than late enough and for a Friday night I was impressed. I asked for a 6 PM appointment; they showed up a bit later than that (maybe 6:20 or so) but it was still fine. They did a great job and they were very fast. Left no mess, etc., and the lock is a much higher quality than whatever I had before and works great. This is my second experience with Altadena Land K and they've not let me down yet.

The guy came out within a couple of hours after my initial phone call. Very quick and prompt with the service. The guy was very professional and would use them again.

Altadena Lock and Key's office was responsive, provided estimate information, and answered my questions. We found their prices to be better than others and they had a next day appointment. The locksmith was supposed to arrive Saturday at 10:00 am. He was a no show at 10:15, so I called their office. I was told that the locksmith was wrapping up another job and would be there in 10-15 minutes. He finally arrived at 10:45 (45 minutes late). He was professional and quick. Total time for our job was about 20-25 minutes. If it wasn't for the 45 minute late issue, I would have given Altadena Lock and Key an A rating.

They were punctual and they were wham, bam, thank you ma'am. I felt their pricing was very fair.

Great! The came 30 minutes after I called. It took only about 15 minutes and the new keys/lock work perfectly.

I called in the morning and they came that afternoon -- a few minutes early! They had the right lock and installed it in about half an hour. They gave me the option of keying the new lock to match the old or re-keying the old one to go with the new one. On their advice, I had the old one re-keyed. I asked for extra keys and they made five, at no charge beyond the re-key cost. I'd been thinking about having this done for months and was surprised how quickly and simply it was done.
