The process went very well starting with our initial design meetings and subsequent change orders. We worked together to reduce change orders and discussed them in detail before we initiated the changes. Original costs estimates were accurate, except for our change orders adding a little more to the overall expenses. Some concerns arose with the concrete company supplying the base color mixed for the stamping. We worked with Jay and the concrete company and were comfortable with the end result. Jay representative us well with the concrete company supervisor. In the end, we got what we asked for and then some. If we do this again, and we may in others parts of our property, we'll be a little more discerning in the use of colors and use of concrete expansion joints, although we are not complaining about the end results. Insofar as the concrete base color is concerned, I advise that once a color is picked out, make the concrete company pour a sample, allow it to dry, then initial the result you want. We did not do this and probably should have to reduce any conflicts.
