Response from Solid General Construction
Dear future clients, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that these reviews affect the livelihood of our family business and it is of great importance that the comments written are factual. In this case there are some discrepancies in the review: First one being price. We did not charge her $992 to repair her gate. We charged our minimum of $99 for a service call which accounts for a total of two hours or less. ( These are the smallest jobs that we accept ) Second being the length of time. Where as she is correct in saying that repairing the gate did not account for an entire two hours, she failed to mention that the extra time was spent picking up the necessary materials needed to complete the repairs. Realistically can one man make a Home Depot run and repair a gate in less that two hours? I think not. Third one being description. I am not sure what "...lock put on as shortcut." is meant to describe, but I will state that if any of our clients call me with a concern, the first thing I will do is put them on the schedule for a FREE service call. Had this customer called with a concern, I would be happy to accommodate her needs. Please call me with your issue before leaving a poorly thought out review. Like I said, it affects our family's livelihood. The bottom line is that we take pride in our work and our business. If you have a concern, just call and we will correct it to your specification. At least give us that chance, after all, we are your neighbors. Nick Bossio Owner
