Description of Work: I spent quite a bit of time with Nick from Angies list on this issue. Angies list is not willing to refund my money from this vendor of theirs not performing what they had agreed to do. The contact from So Cal Contractors (Adrian Nunez) admitted they did not provide what they had agreed to do, which was a set of full sized plans with dimensions. He called Angies list and tried to get my $99 refunded, but Angies list told him I had to call. When I called they said I would not get a refund since it has been past the 30 day period they can give refunds, but he would send a note in to see if they will provide me the refund anyway. Very disappointing all the way around. Both So Cal Contractors and Angies List are companies I would not do business with.

Description of Work: We were introduced to SoCal Contractors when I signed up for a Angie's list deal that included a walk way we were thinking of adding. Adrian suggested to us that we consider expanding the job to include an extensive replacement of our out dated driveway and stepping stone walkway. He returned with plans that included many improvements we had not even considered. When completed we may have spent ten times the amount we expected to spend but we are extremely pleased with the results. Many neighbors have stopped by to tell us how much they like the new look of our home. Their price was less than other bids from local contractors for the same square feet and the quality seems much superior.

Description of Work: I paid for design for a new patio. Received a lovely rendition on computer so could see how it would look from all angles and could instantly make changes. I am not ready to move forward yet, but will call them to execute on their plan when I am.

Description of Work: I was looking to have a landscape design, however, when they found out I didn't need any hardscape, they produced a plan my 7 year old could have done with a tape measure.

Description of Work: Reason they are not rated overall "A": The sales rep said they would match a bid from another patio company for $12,000 which was $2,413 less than the competitor bid. We went through each item of the competitor's bid with the sales rep as he wrote up the contract. He shook his head yes as we went through the various items while he was writing the contract. But he did not write down everything exactly the same: double rafters he wrote down as singe rafters; 12 light fixtures he wrote as 1 ceiling fan. Now this part is our fault: since we sat there and went through everything with him, and he was shooking his head yes, we assumed he was writing everything down as we discussed and didn't really read the contract. Also, we did not know exactly what we wanted to do for the lights, which would have helped if we did. The patio was supposed to be installed within 30 days, it was installed 4 months later. This was mostly because we weren't going to proceed if they did not match the competitor bid. | |Reason they are not rated overall "F": We did wind up getting the patio cover that we wanted. The installers were great! The patio turned out exactly how we wanted and we are very happy with it.

Description of Work: Built an alumawood patio cover. Very professional, great quality, did everything they could to make me a happy and satisfied customer. I definitely recommend this company.
