Description of Work: I was happy with the original offer. I should have expected they would find something else that needed attention. The entire bill came to around $700 which was far more than I expected to pay. I have to believe that it was all necessary and I didn't want to take any chances on having a problem in the future.

Description of Work: I was at work while my husband was here while they worked. I honestly do not remember the total cost so I guessed...They deserve medals as I know that my husband loves to talk everyone's ear off! The garage door opener was installed and boy is it nice and Super Quiet!! A good idea for me to jump on the Angie's List deal...If you need a new garage door opener, this Liftmaster is the bomb!!

Description of Work: Sept. 11 in the after noon GDI sent me a written message stating they would contact me shortly to set up an appointment. I waited and no phone call on Thurs. Sept 11th. Also, no phone call Friday Sept. 12th. I checked my Angies account center message's and no follup messages from GDI other than the one saying they would contact me shortly. Both contact phones numbers i gave them and voicemails are working perfect. This raises a "red flag" with me and i do not feel good about doing any business with GDI. Bottom Line : They said they would get back shortly to schedule and had over ten hours during normal business hours to contact me. ( Normal business hours i define as 9AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday ) Note:There is No actual service date because they never phoned me to set up a service date. Description of Work: Did the tuneup that I purchased. I noticed that door was not operating like it used to. For an additional cost, he installed a bracer bar across the entire door. |Made a difference. And he replaced the battery in the clicker. Instructed me on the maintenance of the door.

Description of Work: GDI replaced the rollers and a roll of hinges and oil the door. They were prompt, professional and explained everything that was going to happened and showed me where the damage was. He asked if I had any questions and once everything was completed he left signage on the garage door for future repairs or referrals. Excellent service.

Description of Work: I had a garage door tune-up. He adjusted the force, lubed the track and the other moving parts. My garage door has never closed completely until he made the adjustments. He also showed me how to maintain my garage door and the type, not brand, of product to use. Courteous and very informative, and my garage door has never been quieter. I would definitely call them again.
