Snake pipe and estimate for sewer lateral.

Problem with kitchen sink drain which I couldn't fix with liquid plumber. I called, he came quickly and did the job. Great service. This was for my former apartment. I had moved out since (service was done three weeks ago), but I am writing this review because I was pleased with his work and the fact that he was easy to work with.

This was a difficult job---trenchless sewer pipe replacement, of about 100 feet of sewer, down a slope, with several turns and changes in grade. Raul was very clear and accurate in his assessment of the job, and he and his crew were very professional, competent, thorough, did the work quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. Best of all, their charge was substantially less---45% less---than the next lowest estimate we had gotten. I highly recommend Toto's Plumbing.

All the work was neatly done. They arrived on time and clean up was excellent. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Contacted Toto's for a re-pipe estimate to replace galvanized lead pipes throughout entire house except for laundry which already had copper. Raul & Raul were prompt to make the appt and arrived on time for the bid and for all days of work which started about a week later. Their bid came in the lowest or 3 bids and because it was a father & son team and they had good reviews here I felt good about giving my business to them. They scheduled the work to start on a Friday and estimated that it would take 2 days. They were a little off on that as it took 5 days (2 days laying pipe, 1 day connecting pipes, 1/2 day for repairing wall, 1 hour next day for painting). I don't think they ran into any problems and I think they worked efficiently I just think they underestimated the time it would take. Raul & Raul showed up every morning with two other workers and walked through the job with those two men and then left to check on other jobs. They walked through with me each day since I had some questions and requests and they were happy to talk things over with me. They were very pleasant to work with and I am happy with the level of service provided in both customer service and plumbing skills and would recommend Toto's Plumbing.

The job needs to be re-done. The job did not go well. He has not returned calls when I called to let him know there were still problems.

They did a great job. He accommodated time to get the job done. He made it work with out replacing everything.

A prior plumbing company replaced a section of my sewer lateral, but didn't quote me for what it would take to pass the leak test before my sale. Toto Plumbing came out quickly, gave me an estimate and provided me with an approach they'd use for passing the test. Unfortunately, it required replacing the section that I had replaced a mere year ago. They were professional, explained the approach, the risks, and asked clarifying questions about what my need was. They offered a solution and estimate that was in line with the other estimates, but the original plumbers ended up giving me a significant discount for repeat business. If I had unrelated plumbing work, I'd seriously consider using them.

Raul and his assistant were terrific and did a great job, start to finish. I will hire him again without reservation and will recommend him to friends who need plumbing services.

My sewer line was plugged up. I called Toto's Plumbing based on Angie's List recommendations. On the first day, they were unable to clear my line because the breakout/cleanout was too far from the blockage. (Not their fault in my opinion.) They told me that I needed a cleanout near the side of my house and that it would cost $300. They could come back the next day to install that. I did not get a written estimate, but said "OK". They came back the next day and did a good job installing the new cleanout (as near as I can tell, not being an expert.) They were then able to clear the sewer line. But when it came time to write the check it was $500, not the $300, I expected. I paid that. Now, please understand that without a written estimate, it is possible that I misunderstood the verbal estimate, but that has never happened before. Well, then they told me that I needed to replace the entire line and it would cost over $4000. I decided not to go ahead with that. I will get other opinions or estimates before I spend that much money. I had the entire line replaced about 20 years ago. I am undecided about whether I would call them again.

Raul and his crew proved to be a very professional operation. I had several large cracks in the old clay drainage pipe due to roots from the large tree in my front yard. After receiving 3 other estimates over the past year, I decided to use this company based on Angie's list List ratings and they have lived up to all previous reviews. To be honest, this was a project we put off for quite , a while due to the cost. We basically managed fine, and relied on snaking it out 2x a year, and never had an overflow issue. But we realized we were on borrowed time and needed to take care of properly. While the quote from Toto's was not the least expensive, they were much more professional and explained the process to me thoroughly. They were respectful of my time, my family and my lawn. I was surprised at how clean the entire process was, only two entry points, one at the main and the other at the edge of the sidewalk. My only disappointment was not having anything to show my family and friends for my $4000 - Like a nice new sofa or a Viking Stove :)

Raul and his crew installed a new automatic seismic gas-shutoff valve for me. I got three quotes for the work, and Toto's was the lowest cost and also the most clear about what was included. They obtained the necessary permit, did a great job on the installation, explained how the valve operates and were really a pleasure to work with. There was a challenge relighting a pilot light on one appliance since the automatic igniter was broken, but they took care of it!

Raul Hernandez of Toto Plumbing showed up when he said he would, gave me an estimate, showed me a video of the broken sewer line, explained what the work would entail and answered my questions. He followed up with me afterwards via email. His crew came when he said they would to perform the work. They cleaned up afterwards. I had one other more costly estimate from another company. Raul came at the end of the day and showed me a video to demonstrate the line was now fixed. I was very satisfied with price and quality of the work done.

Excellent work - quick and painless cleaning of a clogged drain.

They came out promptly and were fine to deal with. I think that they made a mistake in what they were seeing. It seems like they made the problem look worse than it was. They thought that the clay pipe went under the house because they didn't see the cast iron pipe coming out. I had someone else show me with their camera that it was fine. I think they just misread their camera.

I called Toto's at about 5:00 in the evening and he was able to come over immediately and completed the small but important job.

I had three separate phone calls with the company to confirm that they would come to my home to give me an estimate on a sewer line replacement. Each time, I gave them my address. Two hours after they were supposed to arrive, I reached someone who rudely told me that because I had failed to give my address, they would not be coming. Terrible experience, terrible customer service.

They got here on time; examined the problem and came up with a very reasonable solution. They put the estimate in writing and sent it via email. I agreed to the terms and the start date. They arrived on time, were quiet (I have a home/office), considerate, explained everything, double checked their work and cleaned up everything. I've owned my house over 35 years and this was probably one of my best plumbing experiences.

We needed our main line cleaned out because it backed up. I called them on a Saturday morning and they were there in a couple hours. They were very nice and professional and would use them again for sure.

Raul and his team did a great job for me. I was thrilled with how fast they were able to squeeze me in and the repair was accomplished quickly, neatly and correctly. I had used someone I found on the Yellow Pages before and they charged me 3 times as much for less work, so I felt like I got an excellent value and will keep their contacts handy so I can recommend to my friends!

They had to replace the line. It was a little bit hard to get in touch with them at first, and I had to make two or three tries to get in touch with them because they said they were having computer problem or some communication problem. I think they have that solved. The price was very reasonable. They did what they said they were going to do and left everything clean afterwards. We would use them in the future.

It was the simplest possible problem (and solution). We began to notice weak water flow from the shower heads if any other water was running in the house. But we had not changed anything. We called Raul, who set up an appointment for 90 minutes from the time of our call. He arrived within 10 minutes of the appointed time. He took off his shoes before entering the house. We ran tests with multiple faucets going at once--indeed, not enough water pressure to switch from filling the tub to using the shower. Raul asked to see the main house inlet. He checked the flow from the outdoor faucet next to the main inlet, then opened the main inlet valve all the way. The flow increased remarkably when he did so. We retested the inside faucets; everything was back to normal. I wish I knew how that main inlet valve got turned down, and wish that I had thought to check it myself. I had checked the water pressure at the outside faucet, and it was normal, but you can have normal pressure without having normal flow. Anyway, Raul diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly, and I'm now a happy camper.
