I spoke to Gina @ Acclaimed and she was very helpful from the beginning to the end. She e-mailed me a quote and I called to schedule an appointment. I had requested 6 men since we had so many items! The day of the move, the men showed up and got right back to work. All that was on my mind was, ?I hope they don?t mess up like the last company we used.? About 10 years ago we hired a moving company that showed up with the wrong moving tools, brought an extra truck and wanted us to pay for it, broke dishes and antique vases, some items were stolen and who knows what else went wrong that they covered up. When we tried to file a claim the company was gone. They just vanished into thin air. This time I made sure to do my research! Anyways, the boys from acclaimed showed up on time, packed all our things safely, and loaded them neatly on the trucks. I was blown away by their skills and hard work. It took approximately 7-8 hours for them to finish unloading our items from the truck. My brother?s things were safely put away in storage and all of our boxes were placed in their right locations. They did an amazing job. We are so happy with their work and have recommended them to our family and friends.

I was moving from Indiana to California and had requested quotes from 9 companies. The reason I requested so many quotes is because my parents wanted to ensure our move was done on time and it was thanks to Acclaimed. This was our second time moving back to California so we knew what prices to expect. When acclaimed gave us a call back with their prices we were hooked immediately. They explained everything and ensure we would be happy. Read a few of their reviews on yelp, angies list and city search and I was convinced they were the ones. We arrived in California and our items arrived probably a week later. Which was a very fast time. We were very pleased with them and their services and will use them again in the future.

My parents were moving from their 4 bedroom home in Pasadena to a 3 bedroom home in Valley Village. Now my parents are wonderful at everything but they are big time hoarders. Not to a point where everything is all over the place and there's no room to walk but 2 of the bedrooms were full of useless items. I was very excited about their move because I have a very hectic schedule and I'm always traveling so I don't get to see them as often. I decided I would help them with their move. This way we could spend more time together. 3 of my siblings have moved to other cities with a minimum of 4 hour drive time so I felt obligated to do this since I am the only one close to home. For a few months I began researching and reaching out to a few moving companies for quotes. There were a lot of companies I felt safe with but for some reason Acclaimed stole my heart lol. They were the most professional and their rates were just perfect. You can't go with a company who charges too low because you can't ensure you'll get the best price and you can't go with a company too high because you'll be broke after the move. Acclaimed was borderline with the price and it was just right. When I first called I believe I spoke to Mike, he was very patient, understanding and answered all of my questions. Anytime a call representative answers all of my 101 questions I feel connected and feel as if I can put more trust in them. He was very honest and there were no hidden fees what so ever. I had purchased a Yelp deal and since I was a member of Angie's List they gave me an additional discount. I didn't book my move just yet because I wanted to call a few other companies to make sure I was dealing with the best. Also, there was still a month left until the move so I felt like I had more than enough time to call and book them when needed. The last month I began helping my parents pack and get rid of all their "precious" junk that had gathered in the 2 empty bedrooms. There was a week till my parents lease was up so I decided to call Acclaimed. I called and was transferred to Mike. Even though a couple weeks had passed he still remembered me and my situation with my parents items. I had asked for a few storage units to hold my parents items until they decided what to do with them. Mike told me not to purchase anything and we would decided the day of the move as to exactly how many storage units I needed. I guessed approximately 5 or 6. The day of the move I received a call and was told that the movers should be there between 8-9 am. They arrived between that time slot (can't remember exactly when) The movers were very polite and immediately got to work. I let them know that the items in the 2 bedrooms were to be transferred to storage if possible so they did just that. There were a few items that I hadn't packed up in the living room because I wasn't sure of how to pack them correctly. The boys helped me pack up the few items and I was amazed at how neat and organized they were. They did a very very fast job for all the items we had, including the ones that had to go to storage. So after everything was in the truck and loaded up (btw they are too neat the way the boxes were organized) we went and they started unloading everything. What I loved about this moving company is that they actually placed living room boxes in the living room and boxes for the kitchen in the kitchen. (In the past, we used a moving company who was so unprofessional. They mixed up all the boxes so in the end we had to move around all the boxes to the appropriate locations, even the heavy ones.) After many hours they were finally done. We were all so pleased with their work. Nothing was missing or damaged. Very rarely do I leave reviews for these types of companies but I had to give them an A+ rating due to the way everything was handled. Also, as far as my storage units go. Initially I had thought I needed about 5 or 6 but they movers told me we only needed 2. In no way did they try to rip me off or milk me for all I'm worth. Honesty just gives me so much peace of mind. I am so happy I chose this company.

Being a single mother with two young boys is not easy, especially when it came time to move. I called a few companies and I wanted to get a free in home quote. One of the companies never returned my calls and the other few weren?t what I was looking for. I contacted Acclaimed Movers via telephone and they were the only ones who worked around my busy schedule and gave me an appointment the next day. When the men came out to give me an estimate they were on time and very professional. Being a woman, I feel that sometimes men try to lie but not with this company. They gave me a thorough explanation and answered all my questions. I had decided to move from California back to Chicago, Illinois. I wanted to be close to my parents and really needed to leave this area. They gave me a quote which I was very happy with and assured me not to worry, that everything would be just fine. The day of the move came and already I had packed up a lot of my items since I was no longer working and had a lot of time on my hands. They called and let me know they would be here within the time frame of 8-9 a.m. They arrived exactly at 9:00am sharp. All the men were dressed in uniform and they were all very nice and treated my items as if it were their own. I was actually pretty amazed and thought this was too good to be true. The men took their lunch breaks and returned on time. During the whole process, of course my two young boys had to be little balls of energy and distract the men. The movers were so polite and friendly. My kids even loved them. A little after 5 o?clock the men were done and all of our belongings were loaded on the trucks. The next morning we flew to Chicago, the whole way on the plane I couldn?t shut my eyes for the fear of my items getting lost, broken or stolen. It was about two weeks before Christmas and I didn't want to wait for my items until after Christmas. I had bought Christmas presents for my family and my boys. I had read nothing but good reviews about this company but in the back of my mind something was bothering me. We arrived in Chicago and as soon as I turned on my cell phone I had a voice mail from Acclaimed. They let me know that my belongings were safe and should arrive within a week. 7 days later my items arrived to our new home in Chicago. I was honestly amazed at their professionalism. Not one item was broken or lost. I honestly cannot thank Acclaimed Movers enough. They made my move so pleasant and smooth that I can?t wait to move again just to use their services. If you?re looking for a trustworthy, hardworking, professional, and most importantly caring company then look no further than acclaimed. Thank you guys so much!

It was horrible. Many things were missing - 2 ladders, 1 electric broom, a fold-up wooden patio table. Pictures were broken, many things were broken & banged up. It was a mess!

I called several moving companies to request quotes about 1 month in advance of our move. Acclaimed was one of three who actually sent someone out to give me a quote in person. Their rates were very competitive and they gave me a "not to exceed" estimate for the move itself (this does not include additional packing materials since I had chosen to pack myself). I was told the job would take ~8 hours and that the movers would arrive between 8 and 9am. At 8:20am I received a call that the movers were on the road and would be on time. They arrived a few minutes before 9am. The guys who showed up were clean-cut, had good attitudes and all spoke good English. It took four guys until a little after 1pm to pack my kitchen, wrap all my furniture and load the van. Along the way, they had several questions for me They took their lunch break en-route to the new house and started unloading a little after 2pm. By 5pm everything was unloaded and set up. All of their packing materials were removed (except for the dish-pack boxes I had purchased from them for the kitchen packing) and they were ready to leave. The only part of the process that caused me some apprehension was when I was asked to sign a bunch of forms as they started the move. Everything came out pretty much in line with estimates/expectations and I plan to use Acclaimed if I ever have to move again.
