Great price and service.

I've always admired garage floors that were coated with the epoxy finish and when we moved to a new (older) home it was one of our first things we purchased. It really gives a new and fresh feel. It has exceeded our expectations and is a great value.

There were two individuals that worked my project. Francisco who actually did the staining of my porch was very conscientious and thorough and did a great job staining.

We would recommend and use Val Arm again. They were very efficient and did beautiful work.

Quick and thorough. Cleaned up pretty well. Makes a huge improvement. We tried rubber mats it moisture got under them and we got mildew. The coating was about the same price and we did not have to install it ourselves!

I was going to tear out and pour new concrete on my driveway, as it was in bad shape but the cost of $7.50 a square foot was too much. Francisca suggested putting an overlay that looks like a stone, stamped concrete which was also stained and sealed. I ended up paying almost half the cost of pouring new concrete and with a much more beautiful, custom driveway.

The Val-arm crew just completed my patio floor, with a beautiful staining job. We love the results and would recommend them for any jobs big or small. The bid was very reasonable compared to others and the work is very professional. The team was very organized and worked well together and really seemed to enjoy what they do, even in the ridiculous heat we had. They got everything right, and were very helpful in helping me with what i wanted. The job site was left very neat. I'm thinking about having my driveway done and would certainly use these guys again. Great job!

I was looking for ideas to update my backyard and pool area, after researching I found out about concrete staining. HomeAdvisor referred me to a local professional that answered in minutes! The numbers looked good and I was able to schedule my remodeling work within a week. Yes, it takes a financial commitment but the quality of work is worth every penny. My backyard and pool deck look great again! With the current drought in California it’s better for the environment, plus I will be saving a ton of money every month on my lawn care and water bill. Our 3 homes and office spaces connected with an upper level deck needed waterproofing as we were having problems with leaks. Val-Arm Inc. was timely in managing the project and his crew worked professionally inside our houses and work spaces. Val-Arm Inc. has provided exceptional work in our 3 units over the past years and we have always had a great experience. All 3 of the garages had a beautiful epoxy floor installed by Val-Arm Inc. and we would definitely recommend their services to our friends and family.

I chose this company because there bid was within the recommended amount for the job. The others were too high in price ($7.50 - 8.25 sq. ft.). Val-Arms roughly came in at $6.37sq. Ft.. The customer service was not great. In fact, Pablo the manager would not come out personally to give an estimate, it was all done by email. When we set the date to start, he called and told me that the company could not start and pushed it back. When we did start the project Pablo did come out to the house to introduce Francisco and collect a 50% check for the job. Which he initially told me that I could pay with AMEX. I showed Pablo and Francisco a tile in which I wanted the floor to look like. They were limited on colors and did not quite match it the way it should be. When they did the overlay, I thought it was too thin and figured the patching they did on the concrete would bleed through. They told me it would not. When it dried, the patching bled through and so did the glue from the previous linoleum flooring. I still can't figure out this other than they did not prep this floor properly before beginning. A four day job turned into almost a three week job and this hindered my progress with house remodel and was out of my house as I did not have another access to the rooms. This was through the 2015 Christmas and New Year Holiday. I still have imperfections on the floor and discussed this with the owner Armando. The imperfections are bubbles created by the dye they put on the floor and popped in certain clustered areas. He said it can be fixed, but to what extent. Do I need to be out of my house again for a few more days? I was pretty patient with Pablo and Armando and accommodated there every need. There site says they would match and make the floor any way you want. Pablo showed me pictures on the site and I also chose a similar style they had on it which was closest to the tile I originally showed them and it still is way off. This is partly to do with not having the certain colors. I think this job was poorly executed and I felt as if I was small fish (residential) as opposed to be a large job (Commercial). I asked to be compensated for the inconvenience. They said, "We can't knock off any dollars off the price, but we can give you a resealing for free in two - five years from now. What says this company will be in business then?? I totally would not recommend this poorly run company to any of my business partners, and you can bet the word of mouth is more powerful than this rating will be.

Quoted me less than others for the same job. Admittedly, had to call/email a few times to get them to come out but once they did they did a great job. That is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 on customer service but that notwithstanding they were always very professional and courteous. Garage and driveway look really nice! Would definitely recommend.

I had my 3 car garage concrete floor stained and sealed last year. We converted the garage into an art studio. We had several nicks on the floor. Also some water stain (our fault) Called them. Although it did take quite some time to get them to come back, they did come back and refinished the areas, although the water stain was really not within the scope of the warranty (the peeling and nicks were). They sent Sergio who was so kind and professional this past Saturday Oct 3, 2015. He cleaned and restained all the spots. No charge and even the water stain area, he did although it wasn't really in the warranty. Good customer service. Much appreciated.

I have used Val - Arm over the past 10 years on a variety of projects. As GC on remodelling my home ( I added an 1800 sq ft 2nd storey. Val - Arm did the 300 sq ft balcony with a waterproof composite made to look like tile. On another the refurbished a 500 sq ft deck on my rental. They had to grade the deck to ensure the water went off both sides. They have done several small jobs as well. Armando is very good with ideas on how to make the job very cost effective. They provide excellent workmanship, they are quick and very cost competetive. I strongly recommend Val - Arm.
