Dr. Marks is very informative, great bedside manner. She confirmed the problem right away and recommended surgery and told me what to do for palliative care in the mean time. She insisted that surgery was the only cure. The good news is my symptoms resolved with the palliative care recommendations. We did wait a bit for our appointment but I believe the wait was under 15 minutes. The billing and overall rating is more a reflection of cost and failure to follow through. I was initially charged about $500 for the consultation and another $350 for "Surgery". I questioned the bill because no surgery was performed. She spent under a minute to visually confirm one lesion was visible and the other was not. The problems are external so no equipment was needed. The person at the billing department was very nice and assured me she would look into the issue and call back. She never called back but several weeks later I received an amended bill for $636 for consultation plus $358 for "Diagnostic Anoscopy". The entire encounter took under 30 minutes. $1000 for less than 30 minutes, no examination other than a visual glance, and no alteration of the problem seems excessively high. Although Insurance covers a good portion of the bill I've not had any other specialist charge this much nor performed such a brief "examination". Update: The "Diagnostic Anoscopy" was never performed. Dr. Marks never responded to my email informing her she had charged for a procedure that was not performed. It took 7 months of disputing the charge with PAMF and finally I sent the complaint to my insurance Anthem/Blue Cross which immediately removed the charge. Upon review of my medical record I found Dr. Marks had notes on her "findings" based on the "Diagnostic Anoscopy" she claims to have performed. I believe her "findings" "parroted" the results of an MRI and another Doctor's notes. However, unbeknownst to Dr. Marks, the previous doctor's notes were erroneous and subsequently refuted by 3 other physicians. There were also comments Dr. Marks sent to PAMF (incorrectly) stating that my appointment lasted longer than 30 minutes. There were multiple errors in my record e.g. incorrectly stating I had allergies to certain foods. I recommend everyone periodically review their medical record for accuracy. I recommend others monitor their bill and document their actual appointment time to watch for over charges.

I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

I am very happy with the service I received and will return there for future medical needs and questions.

Dr Duncan was great! Took a good history and background. Quite personable. Provided a thorough exam, communicated very clearly. Spent about 30 minutes with me, for general checkup / physical exam. Efficient use of his time and mine. Didn't feel rushed, but I'm glad I came prepared with my notes. Definitely recommend.

I have been using them for the past 25 years. My primary care physician is personable and a good doctor. The building is relatively new everything is state of the art.

He was my primary doctor for about 8 years and was great. He was really interested in his patients, would sit down and talk with me and give me the time I needed. The office staff was always very prompt and excellent all around. They always got me right in. The office was fairly new and was very well done. It was a nice, quiet office.

We are pretty happy with them. Both of our primary physicians are there. It is pretty reasonable to schedule and they are available. They have a couple of doctors that my wife likes.

I felt that Dr. Montgomery was really thorough and really knowledgeable. He was really responsible about making sure that h checked all the resources and was thorough.

He is very clear and takes the time to make sure that we knew what needed to be done. He has a great bedside manner. He does his best to help you with what you need. We had four kids that went to him over the years and we were very pleased with him.

She is very thorough. The whole office is very professional and organized. They are very friendly in the office. When you need something, they do a great job of following up.

Discuss the best course of treatment which at this time is jell injections.

The appointment went very well with Dr. Kaye. He went over my blood test results as well as gave me a full physical exam. Dr. Kaye listen to my concerns and gave me advice on treating my type 2 diabetes. I would recommend Dr. Kaye for his experience in Endocrinology.

She always replies to my e-mails quickly. She is very thorough and cares about her patients. I don't know what I would do without her!

Dr. Kaye reviewed the results of the ultrasound and performed an in-office biopsy, and explained ahead of time what to expect. He reviewed my options and answered all of my questions. I am happy with Dr. Kaye and would recommend him to others.

Dr. Massey is good! When I saw her, I indicated that I had seen another doctor a week or so before, whom I did not plan on seeing again. The former doctor performed blood tests and an ultrasound, but I could not get the results of either. Dr. Massey took the time to determine two urgent issues and referred me to the specialists right away. While I was still there, Dr. Massey's staff contacted the urgent care doctor's office to get the results of the ultrasound I had performed. I have since seen Dr. Massey for a physical exam and found her to be personable and thorough.

I have seen Dr. Sandor on two occasions this year for the same issue. He took time to listen, took x-rays of each of my hands and right wrist and determined that the cause of the pain was different for each. He explained that I might need surgery down the road, especially for the right hand & wrist, but performed an in-office procedure, which relieved pain in each situation. He explained the situation and answered all of my questions. He is knowledgeable and has a nice bedside manner.

Great! Glad he went to school to know how to solve this problem. I was concerned when my finger (thumb) started triggering and then became painful - couldn't take my wallet out of my pants pocket with my thumb. Doc went through cortisone shots and finally surgery to fix my left thumb. I was going to have surgery on my right thumb after two shots (the max they can give you without tendon damage). But the second shot was finally effective so canceled. Middle finger was never so painful but asked him to give it a shot. One shot seems to have fixed that ine. Great ortho doc! Highly recommend.

Thorough checkup with excellent results. Have used Dr. Berke for many years and have always been very happy with his services and directness in discussing my condition. There is no mistaking if there is a problem or not.

My thumb has arthritis and really not much can be done about it. The cortisone injection lasted as long as usual. Everything went well. She is a very nice person and considerate of your feelings and makes sure you are comfortable.

He's fabulous! He is a really, really good surgeon. He operates shoulders and knees. He is in The Palo Alto Medical Group. This guy is really something. The reason why I found out about him was when I went to see my doctor with my biceps, she gave me a shot immediately and referred me to this doctor. He said, "He's the only surgeon I would allow to operate on my children." She was right! This guy was incredibly good! This guy is amazing! He's very personable, and he explains everything. He's so good! My doctor actually went down, and interrupted him to get an appointment with me. He's so busy and so booked in, but my doctor said that this can't wait because I had torn my biceps loose. He made an arrangement for me to get in to see him. I went there while it's bleeding under the skin pretty bad. He saw me, and set me up for surgery. About eight days after I got torn, I was in surgery. He made an allowance to get me in there which I greatly appreciate. And then, he put me to a very competent rehab people. It's a non-fun experience, but if you do something bad like this to yourself, having that kind of doctor helps a lot. This guy is fabulous!

It went very well. He is very thorough and asked questions. He ordered more scans to make sure nothing else has come up.

She's very professional but she's super duper smart and seems pretty smart. Her office is really loving her. The whole deal is so convenient because they have online services so you can check your appointment test results online. They have notification that they send to their patients through e-mail which a lot of doctors do these days but this is like Santa Cruz so the other big medical group here doesn't do that. You can get in the same building with your x-rays to your mammogram. They also have urgent care which like my other medical group prior didn't like stay up here sick after office hours you had no choice. So, this particular medical group without hurting the primary person you can go like say on Sunday you can go to their urgent care facility where there's a staff of good doctors and nurses too. The urgent care there is just excellent especially the staff and all the nurses are excellent. They did mistakes on their billing over there. They are always updating their system so it seems like so there's been a few mistakes but they always rectify it. They figure it out eventually like if you overpay with your copay or whatever they refund your money but it takes six months.

I've been going to Dr. Schaefer since October of 2012. She came highly recommend to me by a friend who had seen her during her pregnancy. She is absolutely fantastic! Straight froward, informative, willing to answer all your questions and eager to make sure your pregnancy progresses smoothly. She doesn't beat around the bush and isn't too touchy feely, which is great for those of us who want solid medical advice and information about pregnancy. Even when I ended up having a medical emergency related to my pregnancy, she was clam and explained everything and made sure I knew that not only would I be fine, the baby would be too. If you want a very spiritual, touchy feeling experience, she won't be for you, but if you want a smart doctor who knows her stuff, tells is like it is, and isn't afraid to explain things to their patients in terms they'll understand, she's worth the drive down to Santa Cruz.

She is great. She is polite, professional. She met my needs.
