Description of Work: Installed new garage door opener with all accessories

Description of Work: I had used precision door to repair a garage door spring on a previous occasion. They issued a warranty. The new spring broke again within the warranty period. I called them to have them come out. When I told them I had the receipt for a warranty repair, that's when the problems started. They sent someone out who refused to honor the warranty and said that it was a different franchise. He could repair the door, but he would charge in excess of $500. I then called the number on the invoice for the warranty and they sent someone else out from another franchise. Again the same thing, said he couldn't honor the warranty, and he had to charge. Since he saw the invoice for the warranty, he would give a discount. So I again called the number and they told me the franchise owner that sold the original warranty was not with precision anymore. In any event, they should have honored the warranty. There 800 number is a dispatch number; by which they send your call to the nearest franchise owner. Their number is a national number, but they do not honor their warranty. So I paid the additional money to get the door repaired, however if and when it does break again, I will find another company to repair the door as their warranty is as worthless as the ink it was written with.

Description of Work: The serviceman showed up on time. Determined the problem with my garage door, which was not opening. Fixed the problem. The serviceman inspected both garage doors and the opening mechanism during the call.

Description of Work: The spring on my garage door broke and wouldn't allow me to open the garage. It was clearly snapped. The tech was able to fix it in an hour and a half with upgraded materials. Works like a champ now.

Description of Work: These guys are prompt, courteous and sharp sharp sharp! In the summertime a Precision Door technician had warned of serious wear on our automatic-door springs and gave us an approximate window of time in which to replace them. Sure enough within 6-to-8 months, one of the springs failed and required immediate replacement. We knew Precision was ready for us and their team was available the very next day. They confirmed the appointment and even sent us a note with the technician's name and photo as a courtesy. I would not trust my garage doors with anyone else! Thank you, Precision!
