GREAT! Amazing team to work with

Let me start by saying that my wife and I are very statistisfied of our kitchen after the remodeling. The price was reasonable, the timeframe given to complete the work was right on the dot, the quality of work done was fantastic. We're glad that we hired Golan from H&A my design to do our kitchen remodeling. We give him 5 stars for the job well done!

We worked with Golan on some remodeling and infrastructure projects. We were very happy with the responsiveness and communication. The work was top-notch. His entire crew was excellent. We approached Golan with a project wish list and our budget. He gave us recommendations on what to tackle now given our budget constraints. We tackled two infrastructure projects- shoring up our 1907 house foundation and insulating the attic above and crawlspace below the house. The remodeling was a fireplace. The fireplace looked like it had be redone poorly since the house was built in 1907. We wanted it tiled to a vintage Craftsman look to fit the house. The crew for each subproject were very professional and very timely. The house now sits on a solid foundation, and the house is now properly insulated, minimizing the temperature swings during hot and cold weather. As anyone who has worked with the City of Pasadena knows, permitting and inspection can be fraught with peril. Golan worked with the city to handle the permits and inspections. The city required more work than anticipated, and Golan was very fair with how he handled the cost overrun due to the additional city requirements. The installed fireplace tiles look fantastic! (We had the tiles custom made by a separate business.) The tile installer he sent was clearly a master of his craft. He worked within the physical constraints to make the tile work a piece of art that looks like it has always been there. Along the way, the crews also tackled some minor repairs. They fixed a plumbing leak that would've impacted the foundation and a finicky air conditioner that was on its last legs. When we are ready to tackle the kitchen remodel and bedroom reconfiguration, we will definitely go back to Golan and his crew. They are top notch! I highly recommend them.

We have met with a few other contractors , some we had actually used before , but not in a matter of such a large scale remodel. My wife was very fearful about his project, from how it would come out , the time it will all take, and how it will add value to our expensive home. oh....the price obviously was an issue too. after talking to others it all seemed like a trip not worth taking, But to our big surprise , Golan was different in both approach and demeanor . not like the rest , who try to start with a small job for cheep then do the rest for high cost, Golan had laied out the project face value , and told us everything it involves. he took his time and patience and over 2 meets we felt very confidant with him. as the projects came alive and took shape we were amazed at the attention to detail, and attention to our "crazy"demands till finally he took care of the entire project and we could not be happier. The final result had made us forget the cost and the time it took ,and we have nothing but grate experience and satisfaction, we have recommended him to out closest friends who have done work too and were fully satisfied. we now have him on speed dial , recommend him to anyone, and not just because of the referral fee, but because hes worth it.

Golan Remolded kitchen completely,family room,fire place ,flooring etc... they removed 3 wall .woowww!! gave the kitchen open space concept . they did all demo,plumbing,framing,dry wall,painting,stucco,tile flooring,new cabinets ,counter top,new tile back splash, lighting,electrical,fire place mantle (was custom made) i am very happy with the results, and done in a timely manner.

I chose to hire H&A My Design for my bathroom remodel after interviewing 3 other contractors. Golan, the owner of H&A My Design came over within 24 hours of my initial contact with the company and presented us with some very good ideas and immediately made us feel comfortable. I really liked that he listened to us to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. After checking out H&A My Design as thoroughly as I could and reading so many other positive reviews about Golan, we decided to hire him. Work started within 1 week and each day the skilled workmen arrived on time and cleaned up before they left in the evening. I am very impressed with how the demolition, plumbing and electrical crews are coordinated so that each day significant work is accomplished. Today the tile crew began their work and it was exciting to watch the project really start to take shape. Golan stops by every few days so I’m at ease that the owner of the company pays close attention to my project. I’m about half-way through this stage of the project and I could not be more pleased! This company carried out a complete bathroom renovation last August 2015. Their workmanship can’t be compared and we were really delighted with the final outcome. The outcome for us was a high quality bathroom finish that would look good for more years to come. I thoroughly recommend them, not just because of the results but also because of their credibility and reliability.

H & A my design has gone above and beyond my expectations when we needed some remodeling done on our bathroom and bedroom. Being first time home owners, my husband and I are pretty inexperienced with the whole remodeling thing, so I had my doubts when a family friend referred Golan to us. My mind was put to ease almost instantly though, as we met with Golan personally, and he walked us through everything step by step, breaking down the cost in detail, even assisting us on what materials would look best in our home... What impressed us the most (well, me I should say) was his patience and professionalism as my indecisiveness began to threaten the whole renovation... But Golan assured me he understood my vision completely, and I had no choice but to let go and allow him and his awesome crew to do what they do best...And all I can say is that was the best decision I could of made....I now have the most beautiful bathroom, bedroom and (my favorite part, of course!) walk in closet- all custom made to our liking, on our budget and on time.

A contractor with nothing but high ratings… frankly speaking, some people might feel skeptical but as far as I am concerned, I will never doubt the quality of their work and service. To make it short, we found our kitchen to be restricting as a result of poor planning. Several other contractors were called, but unfortunately they weren’t able to come up with an ideal design that will not only open up space but also stay within our projected budget. But then these guys came. And VOILA! They were able to give me a suitable design that is well under our budget. After several days of wonderfully choreographed workmanship, our kitchen was rejuvenated into a thing of spacious beauty. It would be a gross understatement to say that I’m impressed with their work and to everyone who would read this review, you should call these guys.

We are very pleased with Golan?s service and the professionalism he has shown in Remodeling our home. Before we met Golan, we were actually looking for a one stop shop that would do all the remodeling service we needed. At first, we had doubts because we haven?t heard of H&A or Golan before. But after meeting him all our doubts were lifted, especially after he showed us a design that others haven?t shown before. It was really outstanding. Because of this, we were convinced to sign a contract. ? He got us an amazing 3D drawing for the new bath and kitchen. It was really perfect for us. Also, Golan kept us up to date all throughout the process. In fact, every call or query we made was answered promptly. Golan kept us always in the loop, especially when it comes to at what stage he is at the project. Once I tried to see the progress after he was done for the day and was surprised at how clean the area was. Golan and his team did a complete makeover of our bath and kitchen. We got custom made cabinets. Amazing counter top that took our breath away? back splashed tile and a new paint job. We are so happy with H&A My Design and Golan that came through. Thank you.

H&A and Golan gave us a complete backyard renovation and it was beyond what we have imagined. Golan was left in charge for the design and the work and he was able to produce a perfect implementation of our envisioned backyard. But what made his work beyond what we have imagined was the time he needed to complete the work. It was completed ahead of schedule. Many thanks for all the work Golan!

Found them online and from the reviews they had, I was convinced to give them my project. Golan was very informative and answered my questions. He showed several options and had a lot of money saving ideas. I got granite counters, glass back splash as well as beautiful crystal faucets. Golan even worked with my schedule when the materials I ordered didn?t come on time. He did quality work from cutting and laying down the tiles to repairing the damages after taking out the old counters. Highly recommended and would use again for any future remodeling projects.

Even with a couple bumps in the road, i.e. new electrical wiring we hadn't expected, the crews finished within a few days of the original estimated time given me when the project began. No one I talked to said that would happen. Just goes to show what a great boss Golan is. After?starting the project we found things weren't as simple as they'd first appeared but the crews rolled up their sleeves and really put a lot of effort into bringing my dreams to fruition. Golan carefully explained to me the options that I had but let me make the final decisions. He was very easy to work with and made the transition for me as painless as he could. There were layers on the floor we hadn't anticipated but the crew did an excellent and speedy job of getting the old out and ready for the new. The walls went from dull, neglected blah, to clean and fresh and lovely. It was a pleasure to make sporadic visits to check on the project before I moved in and find how hard they'd been working and how amazing the transformation was. The floors turned out amazingly well. The two man crew worked long hard hours to get their portion of the project finished, so I could move some of my things into the house. They didn't complain about me being there, in fact, they serenaded me at times, and stayed late when they were close to finishing. I can't say enough about my kitchen that's perfect for me. Golan discussed with me a couple of options and when I told him what I really wanted he and his kitchen designer put their heads together and produced the kitchen I'd described almost to a T. The workmanship is marvelous and the installation was so professional and done in a very timely manner. Again, they let me make the final decision and that means so much. When the chance came up to work with Golan again to bring the outside to the same desirability as the inside, I jumped at the it. I can hardly wait to see how wonderful it will look when completed.

This is the best remodeling decision I have made! From the initial meeting with Golan until the end of his work, I couldn?t have asked for anything more. He worked for more several hours without taking long breaks for the whole project duration and he was able to finish everything he said he would. He installed new fixtures, brand new tiles, drywall, changed electrical work and plumbing. I was amazed with his skills. I was even more amazed at how beautiful the kitchen turned out. It was better than I have imagined.

Wow, I could not be happier with H&A my design! I just had my bathroom remodeled at the results are stunning. I find it to be little stressful whenever I have someone in my home to do a job. I've had some bad experience in the past when it comes to having construction done, but luckily this was not one of them. From start to finish, I was great hands all the way with H&A my design. When I called around and checked prices and it looked like the job was going to be very expensive, but then a friend recommended these guys. I'm very glad he did! The person I spoke with on the phone was knowledgeable and very helpful. Right away I could tell I was dealing with professionals. H&A my design helped me pick out the materials and the color, and they saved me a lot of money along the way. When Golan came out to do the job, I was very impressed with the work he did. He totally transformed my bathroom. He showed up on time, he worked fast, he kept things neat, and he cleaned up along the way - but most importantly - the quality of the workmanship was outstanding! This was, by far the best experience I've had with a remodeling job. I'm eternally grateful and I highly recommend H&A my design.

I heard about H&A my design when I went to my friends house for dinner and was impressed by their new kitchen. I received estimates prior to hiring Golan as I really needed someone that I felt comfortable with. The remodel does not take a day or two so it was important for me to trust the person in my home. At this point I have been searching for someone to do my kitchen for awhile and was blown away by his work. Golan has a certain eye for things and can turn an ugly old home into a masterpiece. When Golan originally came to my house I told him that I love the colors white and gray so he suggested a few options. We went through some samples and loved the ones he recommended. There were certain things I was hesitant about but after seeing the final results I'm glad I listened to him! I received many compliments on my new island. So happy I found Golan thank you!!
