Primary Contact was Conrad Romero. Provider showed up at the agreed upon time in the morning of the service. The job was to install a new sprinkler system in the front lawn area & valves & replace 2 spigots. The crew completed the job by the end of the day. They tested the lines to make sure that everything was working properly & showed us what the new zones would be prior to leaving. Overall, they did a good job and cleaned up after work was completed.

Everything went well. They were efficient, professional and punctual. They fixed my back gate that wouldn't open as a courtesy.

We are so very pleased and satisfied with our recent hardscape project by Del Mar Landscaping. It was an excellent job from first contact to completion. Besides being an expert on our hardscape project Conrad was a mountain of plant information and ideas for other areas of our property. We especially appreciated Conrad and his crew foreman for always taking the time to answer questions and explain the method or materials involved?it was great . Very much appreciated ability to go on-line to the stone material yard to view all available flagstone and choose what we wanted. It went well, when it finally happened. I can't really blame them since the weather was very uncooperative, but it would have been nice if he had been a little bit more communicative so that I would know there would be delays. I had to call him to find out about when they would actually start the work. Once it was started, it was over pretty quickly. The grass is still green a few months later and I am very happy with the end result. If I need other yard work or landscaping done, I will probably be giving them a call.

Del Mar Landscaping showed up promptly at 8:30 a.m. with his crew and immediately started on everything we previously discussed. The job was for the front and the back yard and took approximately seven hours. Conrad was great and his crew was really nice (they liked to sing which made me smile while I was working) and they did a great job making sure nothing was left unfinished. During the final walkthrough, there wasn't anything I had to point out they missed and I appreciated that. They also took care not to leave any messes and they're the first crew I've had where after they left, I wasn't finding water bottles and various food items hidden around the property (that's a huge pet peeve of mine). Conrad Romero and his crew did an excellent job. They started on time and completed the project earlier than expected. His crew is professional and proficient and easy to work with. Additionally, Conrad is very knowledgeable about the various species of plants and proved very helpful with our plant selection. We would most definitely use Conrad and his company again and highly recommend his service.

I'm really happy with the outcome of the project. Conrad helped a lot with the design because I really didn't know what I wanted when we started the project. We traded pictures by email and came up with a design plan . When it was done, I wasn't sure about the color choice of the gravel. He come up with different suggestions to make me happy and we ended up adding a second color of gravel. It looks great. All the guys were friendly, ready to answer any questions kept the area very clean. Thanks, Conrad.

I used Del Mar Landscaping. They were prompt, friendly and professional. Their professionalism was a little bit better I think than I've seen at other places. They are actually decent landscapers.

After having a really bad gardener who did not listen to the problem, Conrad explained what was done, how to repair it and was extemely friendly and knew what he was talking about. I would highly recommend him for everyone!

We hired a designer to draw a plant map and Del Mar Landscaping did all the hardscaping and new sprinkler and plant installation. Their workers were all pleasant to work with. We had somewhat of a strict agreement detailing the number of plants, sizes, and their locations, etc...but they worked hard to make sure they go by everything that was in the contract, and they fixed any issues until we were satisfied. They were knowledgeable about drought-tolerant landscaping and installed two dry river beds in the new garden that collect rain water during the rainy season. Since we did not want conventional sprinkler heads, they installed literally hundreds of drip irrigation system at EACH plant location. A few months after the project was complete, some plants unfortunately died due to some disease but Del Mar Landscaping replaced those plants at no charge. They were responsive and they did what they promised they would do. We are very happy with our decision to work with them. Highly recommended.

I chose Del Mar from their good reviews on Angie's List and that he did have experience with turf removal for what I needed - I was completely happy with this choice. Conrad came out within a couple days of my inquiry and provided a rough quote on site, and then a written quote within a couple days. He provided me with options to fit my budget. And as he promised, he was able to begin the job within 3 weeks. They came out on May 12th ? Monday ? with a crew of hard workers and also an excellent younger field boss (Conrad?s nephew Able). Conrad was here just about every day checking up. They were here the entire week everyday thru Friday. The work they did was outstanding. The crew took extra care in getting the landscape ties to curve around my driveway. They took out enough turf so that there was at least 3 inches of gravel or river rocks. They tore out my existing dilapidated raised flower bed and stumps and then primed and painted the house in that area. Each flagstone was meticulously place and leveled to my design. They welcomed me for all my input including the placement of each flagstone and the layout in the front yard that looks like a dry golden river bed. I purchased the plants separately, but they picked them up from the nursery. Total cost for the plants was an addition $270 for me. The crew salvaged existing plants I had around the back and replanted them to the front area. Each plant receives its own little drip system and is completely maintenance free. He provided a 2-station system that runs all the way to a back patio area. They installed my solar lights I purchased separately from Costco for the finishing touches. The back side area with flagstones and river rock is like a sanctuary now, in fact, my entire yard is so beautiful I can not believe how great it looks. Every person passing by has given great compliments. I?ll post pics if possible. Conrad and his crew should be very proud, as I am of their work and the final outcome.

Conrad and his employees did an excellent job and were on time as promised. They got everything done in one day. Had a little glitch with the sprinkler system and they immediately came back and took care of it. The yard looks beautiful and our neighbors are so envious. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The project took about 5 weeks from start to finish. Conrad's crew(usually 3 people, sometimes more depending on the phase of projects) showed up every day except for 1 week due to a permit snafu(really my fault). Conrad and his crew are very hard working and professional, and their attention to details are amazing. It was almost mesmerizing to watch the guys cut and lay the brick pavers with such attention and precision you would almost only expect from a watchmarker. The quality of work at the end exceeded my expectation in every way. Also, Conrad made sure I was completely happy about everything before taking the final payment. For example, one area of pavers didn't drain well, which I only complained to Conrad but didn't insist it be fixed assuming it would be too late to do so. However, Conrad offered to rebuild that area without a second thought. If there is anything non-positive, it would be that Conrad seems reluctant to accept changes or additional tasks(even with additional payment) once the project started, perhaps due to the busy schedule. So just make sure all the details are communicated well with him in the proposal phase. I highly recommend him to anyone who are thinking about transforming their yard. You won't be disappointed.

The sprinklers are shooting off and hitting the house but they are coming back to fix them.

I called Conrad for an appointment on a Tuesday and we agreed he would come out on Friday at noon. He called me on Friday at 10:30 am to tell me he'd be about an hour later. He showed up exactly an hour later as he said he would. He ran all systems on our sprinkler system and noted that 2 sprinkler heads were not functioning properly as well as one of the valves(it didn't work at all). He had the new valve with him, but needed to go to Home Depot to get the sprinkler heads. He left and returned about 45 minutes later and changed out the sprinkler heads. He charged $120.00 for the new brass valve and the 2 new sprinkler heads, and for reprogramming system as I had requested. I felt that Conrad's price was reasonable and he did everything I asked of him. He is very professional, punctual, and friendly. I would certainly use him for any other irrigation or landscaping needs in the future.

Conrad is real easy to work with. He understands the landscaping business. He's been taking care of our properties for about 2 years and I've never had a complaint. I always refer friends and family to him; they've never complained.

The work went smoothly and well. Their crew works well together. Since most of this type of improvement work needs to happen in a specific order I was curious how it was going to go. Conrad was able to get the materials delivered to the jobsite effectively -- the tree was planted before the sod, for example. The sprinklers were installed before the top soil, etc. There was minimal downtime while waiting for the "next phase" of the work. Their work transformed the yard from trashy to lovely and usable! It is gorgeous and easy to maintain. We are so pleased to have our yard pretty and available for dinners and gatherings in the upcoming warm months. We would highly recommend Del Mar Landscaping to anyone who needs help with their yard!

It went great. Conrad was constantly checking in with the crew and making sure we were happy with how everything was going. The crew couldn't have been a greater bunch of guys. Job foreman was always on top of task at hand. We were always impressed with how professional, polite and happy everyone was. We especially enjoyed the 'singer'. This is one hard working bunch of individuals and they made quick work of everything. There was not a glitch with anything and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Conrad and his team had several other larger jobs going at the same time and completed our job in between work days on those other sites. We were amazed by how fast they worked when on site and the quality of the work, especially on the wall, was better than we expected. We would definitely recommend Del Mar Landscaping and are planning on using them to renovate our front lawn in the very near future.

We wanted to convert half of our back yard from grass to paved patio and replace the old trees. We called Del Mar along with several other landscaping firms. Conrad returned the call right away, and we met the following day to go over the project. A job proposal was received about a week later. After reviewing all the proposals, we chose Del Mar because of its competitive pricing and favorable reviews/references. Conrad's crew was busy with other projects at that time, so we struggled initially to find a start date that was mutually convenient. Since Thanksgiving was just right around the corner, we decided to postpone the project until after the new year. Once the project began, it went fairly smoothly and without delay. The crew was at the house every weekday for three weeks except for one day. They even worked on two Saturdays just to ensure timely completion of the project. Although the project took longer than we had anticipated, we were very pleased with the end result, as our new backyard looks just like what we had envisioned. Overall, our experience with Del Mar was very positive, and we found Conrad trustworthy and very easy to work with.

Del Mar arrived on time. They worked very quickly, transforming our entire back yard, and completing the job in two days. The work they did looks great. They were very detail-oriented. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I would certainly use them in the future.
