This company stayed within budget, had great quality and cleaned up after he was finished. I would recommend this company to anybody!

I had a bathroom remodeled by South Canyon Construction. I got bids from 3 contractors and choose South Canyon because of price and a reference from our decorator. The job involved a complete tear out, reconstruction and some unknown amounts of dry rot. The dry rot did turn out to be more extensive than what could be estimated before the tear out, which we agreed before starting would require an adjustment to the quote. It's always difficult to have an opening for a proposal adjustment once the job starts since your negotiating position is diminished, but we came to an agreement with little difficulty. The job was done on schedule and with a high degree of craftsmanship. They were very conscious of keeping dust and debris to a minimum which we appreciated. As always, I had a few extras as the job progressed which they did without question. I have since had them out for a few odd handyman type jobs and continue to be very satisfied with cost, quality and responsiveness.

Ben is a truly exemplary contractor. His years of experience coupled with his natural talent for contracting work were evident in the superb final products. He works rapidly and with real skill. He is organized and methodical in his approach to the varied jobs involved in large remodels. His pricing was very competitive and his work ethic was admirable. Having the main part of ones home in stages of remodeling puts stress on homeowners, yet Ben's affable nature and competent, quick work made it as painless as possible. He was always at our home very early and worked quite late many evenings without pause or distraction, thus reducing the number of days of our remodel. His knowledge of materials, tools, design and more were fully appreciated. He knew all the regulations and codes, making sure his work would pass any inspection. We intend on contacting him for all future contractor work we may have. Without hesitation we highly recommend him to future clients. .

To lay it out, our experience with Ben was simply amazing. He always showed up on time, worked a full day and then some, and even worked on Saturday to get the job sooner so we could move on with our next portion of the remodel. His attention to detail was obvious from the beginning. We appreciated many of his suggestions to improve the overall look of the kitchen remodel and he was right on the mark. It's very clear that he takes a great amount of pride in his work and enjoys interacting with the homeowners. He was very good about cleaning up and kept the dust to a minimum in the remodel area. He even encouraged us to put up plastic sheeting to protect the other rooms which was appreciated. Ben worked alone but he was extremely efficient with his vast array of cabinetry tools. We couldn't believe that he could be a one man operation. He was very personable and we always looked forward to greeting him each day and discussing the progress of the remodel and answering our many questions. It's very clear that Ben is extremely competent as a general contractor which lead to a smooth remodel where potential issues were recognized early and resolved. During the remodel, it became apparent that additional plywood would be needed to be added under the countertops for support and Ben came back to install trim pieces to hide the plywood at no additional cost. With Ben's knowledge, positive attitude, and work ethic, we would recommend him in a heartbeat!

This company was a subcontractor through Lowe's and the price included installation, kitchen cabinets, materials, and appliances, so I am not sure how to judge the price. But it was within the budget we'd set. Ben worked alone, but was very capable and efficient, plus he kept the mess to a minimum. He quietly went about his business and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time. He always arrived on time and put in a good day's work. At one point he ran across an unexpected problem, some mold in the drywall behind the sink. He immediately drew it to my attention so we could discuss what should be done. I asked him to tear it out and replace it with new drywall, which he did. He could have ignored it and built right over it without saying anything, I never would have known, but he did the right thing instead, even though it meant a delay of his job. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity in this. He also helped us by suggesting we save some of the better upper cabinets and install them in utility areas-- the barn, garage, and laundry-- which was a great idea! Now we have more storage space at very little cost. Ben went over and above the call of duty by finishing off the small space beneath the granite counter top with quarter round, a detail we would have needed to do ourselves. He could tell we had no clue how to do anything and took mercy on us! ;) Very excellent work. I would DEFINITELY use him again.
