The ad said they would replace up to 10 rollers. As far as I could tell the rollers were not checked. He just squirted lubricant here and there so it wouldn't be so noisy. Then he left.

I believe he did the best he could given the age of the garage and condition of the structure. I thought/hoped more could be done. And he didn't try to up sale me, which is a plus. He was punctual, polite and did what I asked him to do. I'd procured the work via an Angie's List Deal..not sure what I would have paid otherwise. Work took much less than an hour, but I don't know going rate for this trade or house calls. All in all, the deal encouraged me to schedule the work!

The technician arrived at time scheduled, listened to my explanation of the problem and went to work. Within 15 minutes, he had diagnosed the areas that needed repair and explained exactly what he would be doing - and gave an estimate of the cost. Within 45 minutes he completed all the work, tested the door, and showed me how to lubricate it in the future with white lithium. Best of all, my bill was $109 - HUNDREDS of dollars less than the quote I got from another company!!! I will recommend Easy Open Door Company to my fussiest friends...or anyone who needs a reliable, economical garage door repair performed by pleasant, capable people. Called for price and appt. I described what I wanted, we discussed the options, and I ordered exactly what I needed. I received a call prior to the installer's arrival, and he arrived right on time. The installation was performed professionally and quickly. The installer placed all the equipment where requested and also adjusted and lubed the door. He reviewed the operation and worked performed at the end of the work. The LiftMaster GDO that was installed is surprisingly quiet when opening and closing. Very happy with the service, company and equipment.

I had need for immediate assistance, as the garage door nearly fell upon my wife's car last night! I called this morning and was happy to hear that Troy, the tech, would be out today bet. 11 am - 1:00 pm. Around 12:40 PM, Troy hadn't shown up, so I called Easy Open and expressed my concerns to Michelle. She had already attempted to contact Troy, but for some reason, he wasn't picking up his phone calls. She called me back at 12:52 and told me that Troy would arrive at my house in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, he didn't arrive until 1:30 PM, on account of the traffic on 5 south--which I didn't fault him for. But, he could've called me to say that he would be late. Aside from the above, Troy was very professional and was quite competent at what he did. He offered to evaluate the larger garage door and then added $35 to the original price at the time of the bill. In retrospect, I think that the large door inspection should have been included in the original price of $109, but I didn't bring it up. This company would've rec'd close to a perfect score, if not for the lack of communication.

All in all I was very satisfied. My garage door was not opening or closing electronically. I called Easy Open Door first thing Monday morning at 8:00 sharp which is the advertised time they say they open. Got a message machine telling me to leave my number and they would get back to me promptly. It took about 45 minutes until they returned my call. Spoke with the receiptionist who said it sounded as if I needed a tune-up. She told me she could have someone at my home in 20 minutes. They showed up when they said and got right to work. Miles, the person doing the work was very courteous and knew exactly what to do. He also went the extra step to rehang my opener. I have lived in my home 27 years and have always been irritated because the opener bounced and made so much noise when opening or closing the garage door. About 5 years ago I called a gargage door company to fix my opener because a chain had broken on it and it was not working. No one at that time told me the opener was not hung properly, but Miles noticed it right off and corrected it for me. Now my opener no longer bounces and creates such a racket. While Miles was at my home we discussed at some point replacing my garage door. I have a very heavy two car garage door over 40 years old. About a year or so after moving into our home we spoke with a Garage Door Co. who at that time told us we did not have a standard garage door opening, so they would have to special order a door. We decided to put it off for the time being. Miles measured the opening to our garage and said they would not have to special order, that they had doors to fit our opening, which I was very pleased to hear. The only slightly negative I would have to say is, when I told them I was an Angie's List member and they asked if I had a coupon, I had to say no because the only coupon being offered at this time on Angie's List was for work I was not having done. But when I went to the Company's Web Site to research the new garage doors they offered, low and behold they had a $10.00 off coupon for the service I had just this same day had done. I called the company and asked why I was not advised about the coupon on their Web Site. I was told this is how they determine which media source the lead comes from, so because I got the lead from Angie's list and not their site I did not get the discount. I don't really agree with this practice. I feel that if I'm calling them to do business with them, they should at least let me know they have a discount available on their Web Site for the work I'm having done. After all, they are still getting my business. Doesn't speak well for them when they do work for you and after having the work done you are referenced to their Web Site to research some of the products they offer and then you get to the Web Site and the first thing you see is a discount you could have gotten on the work you just had done. I'm pleased to say that the Company did send me a check refunding me the $10.00 coupon I missed out on when they originally came out. Thanks Easy Door Company, Inc.! Looking forward to when I can get the new garage door.

Nothing bad stood out. They were on time when they came out and did the work as expected.

My whole coil had come off of the garage door. He reattached it and just did a tuneup.

The door worked smoothly when they were done. We have used Easy Open several times now and are always pleased with the service.

Troy was a very nice young man that added tension to the springs on the garage door. Also lubed the hinges, rollers and springs. He took his time in doing all the work. Gave us recommendations on when to balance the door and check for the safety. Need to have this service done again soon.
