Excellent overall experience. Tech called first thing in the morning to let us know window when he would be over then called again with exact time and showed up right on time, Tech (Devin) was very friendly and 100% professional. Garage door works great and he walked my wife through work performed.

Excellent! Our appointment was for between 11-1. Miles called us about 10 minutes before he arrived, right at 11am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work immediately. Turns out it needed a rebalance and little tune up.

He did a great job! The coupler was replaced, the lift is now working again. He adjusted the springs and lubricated the works. Now it is working great! I was stuck by the craftsmanship in the work.

Explained clearly what the problem was -- broken spring on a type of opener system that is not made anymore. I learned a lot about garage door openers since before this I only knew whether or not it opened! Turns out we have a Torque Master type system, and once the springs break on that type they need to do a "torsion conversion" to a different type of system. I called a few other Angie's list recommended companies to compare prices for the same work, and Easy Door was the lowest. They were professional, honest, and reliable. Work got done within one day!

Fully expected the tech to find all types of things wrong with the door and opener and we'd have to throw a ton of money at it. I certainly gave the tech the opening for it... but he said all we needed was a minor tune up. They lubed and adjusted a few things. Stayed within the price of the angie's list deal. Door works great. Seemed like a really honest company; will use them again for future garage door repairs.

Service person came out and sprayed hinges, quickly put lubricant at beginning of chain. He was here about 4-5 minutes. I was disappointed in that I thought he would check the motor for the door and put more lubricant on the the whole track. The value for the money wasn't great. I could have done what the service person did and save myself $39.00.

I ordered one of their coupons to adjust my garage door. They were great. No fuss, adjustments were good and they have me lots of advice on how to maintain the door on my own in the future. Soon after, a different garage door had a busted spring. So I called them again. They were great again. Very fast. Changed out the spring in less than an hour and everything worked great. Both times the scheduling was easy and smooth. Both of the techs were knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend to anyone needing garage door service.

My garage door opener started making one of those noises that you just know is not a good thing just before it stopped working all together. I called Easy Open Door Company because I had been impressed with their service when I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a garage door tune up a couple of years ago. The girl I spoke with said that it sounded like I needed a new opener, so I made an appointment to have one installed for a price of $475.00 with an Angie's List coupon. Miles, their technician, showed up for our appointment on time and ready to install the new Liftmaster opener. When he inspected the old garage door opener, he found that a plastic sprocket had disintegrated, apparently a not uncommon problem with the older openers. Miles quickly replaced the sprocket, a $25.00 part, checked the adjustment of the door itself, and lubed all the moving parts. The whole process took about fifteen minutes. He charged me a total of $124.00, $25.00 for the part and $99.00 for the service call, much better than the $475.00 I had expected to pay. These guys are honest and efficient, and I will definitely use them again.

I scheduled Easy Open Door Company for a $39 Angie's List garage door tune-up deal. The technician, Miles, called me a few minutes before scheduled appointment and said he would be there in about 20 minutes. I appreciated the phone call as I had totally spaced on the appointment and was about 20 minutes from home! I raced back home and arrived just seconds before Miles pulled into the driveway. Whew! Miles wasted no time in checking the garage door operation, making adjustments and adding lubricants. He noted the door made a loud popping sound after opening (something another garage door company couldn't fix). Miles determined the garage door was opening too high and causing a bracket to pop. Miles adjusted a guide to stop the door at the proper opening height which was a few inches lower. Wah lah - problem solved and no more loud popping sound! Miles cleaned the space before packing up. This was $39 well spent and one very happy Easy Open Door Company customer!

My 22 year old garage door motor stopped working. Contacted Easy Open Door Co. and spoke with Michelle. She was very friendly and able to set an appointment to my scheduling needs. Devin arrived at the specified time and was very personable as well as professional and knowledgeable. He gave me the option of repairing my old opener but based on its age I opted for a new motor with a keypad for $475. I had gotten a quote ($600) from a much larger company for just the motor who also said I needed an overhaul on the door assembly for an additional $700. I am so glad I found Easy Open on Angie's List. The new motor works great and is super quiet. Devin also told me that my door assembly was in good shape and needed only some minor adjustments. Saved a lot of money and am extremely happy with the product and the service. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.

They came out to replace the garage door opener that was not working very well. Once we put in the order they contacted us very quickly and were able to schedule a time to come out within a very short amount of time. Our window was between 9 and 11, and Miles was here at 9. He was very professional, explaining the different parts of the opener. He installed the new opener quickly, and then showed us how to program new remotes. He also showed us how to check for other problems in the future. Everyone I spoke with (scheduling the appointment as well as the technician) were professional and friendly. They answered any questions and did not try to sell us something that we did not need. Will definitely use them again!

3 1/2 years ago, we had this company replace a garage door opener and both springs. At the time, I was given a 5 year warranty on the springs and yesterday, one broke. Within a day, they scheduled a repairman to come over and fix the problem. I wasn't too happy with the fact that I was still charged $150 for labor since they had warrantied the springs but the repairman did a great job. Devin not only replaced both springs, he also adjusted the opener and tracks and oiled everything so the opener is now working very smoothly and quietly.

It was terrific. They are so professional, and I appreciated that we were able to talk about specifics and make decisions efficiently. They also gave a great discount through Angie's list. The installation came with new railings which was a huge plus! And everything was cleaned up and they took away the old garage doors and materials. Thank you!

Looks great. Installer knowledgeable and friendly. Price was a bit higher than my other bid but owner brought it down to beat the price. This was all good. There is an issue of great concern: When I saw the handwritten estimate on installer's clipboard, my credit card number along with expiration date and security code were written down at the bottom. When I called in the credit card number for the down payment, I expected that it would be entered directly into a computer. For the installer to be carrying it around is a complete security breech and this company should know better.

Randy came right on time and diagnosed and fixed the problem. He also told me what to look out for to prevent the the same problem from happening again. I could tell that this guy knew what he was doing , and gave me complete confidence in his work. He showed how things worked which was very helpful. I will definitely use this company again, should the need arise. And thank God for Angies List, as I had no clue as to how to fix my broken garage door. The reviews were so helpful, and gave me complete confidence to choose this company!

Amazing. They were so nice and they linked the new opener to the car. It is still working great and quietly.

Everything was great. The serviceman arrived on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. The coupon I bought was for a tune up. The door actually had to also be repaired and they only charged me extra for the part. Very fair.

I'm so thrilled with how quickly michele and brian were able to help me with my garage. I woke up to find no power going to my garage door- I was stuck inside! I tried to pull the red handle to manually operate the door but with no luck (it's pretty old and junky). I phoned, hoping they could maybe help me the same day, and sure enough, about an hour and a half later, Brian showed up and did everything he could to figure out what was going on. In addition, he noticed that the door wasn't opening fully (it's an old wood door that swings out and up, and wasn't opening fully because of the way the springs had been installed. He fixed that, and while he couldn't figure out the electrical problem- he helped me create a "for-now" solution that at least has me unstuck. Thank you so much for your quick help! I'll be sure to call when my condo complex eventually upgrades to nicer garage doors!

I ended up having the company replace the garage door. The staff was very capable and friendly. They are responsive and pleasant to work with. It was very easy to schedule with them and they were hard workers. They were great at explaining how the new door works and how to use the device to open the door.

It went better than expected, they were very quick. He didnt charge me any money because it was under warranty from when they installed the garage door back in January.

Sometimes bad things happen to good companies. How the company responds is a measure of its quality. I ordered a replacement garage door for my house from Easy Open Door Company. Unfortunately the door was a non-standard size and a non-stocked color, and it had to be ordered from the factory. Delivery took three weeks. Once it arrived Easy Door phoned to say that the installation crew had a work backlog and couldn?t install it for another two weeks. On the morning of installation day Easy Door phoned to tell me that the installer had injured himself the previous day, and the installation would now occur the following week. On the ?final? installation day Easy Door phoned again to say that the factory had shipped the wrong door, and the process would have to cycle back to the beginning! They were very chagrined. But they were willing to work with me. I accepted an available door in a color different than I had wanted (the doors are paint-able, though). The installer arrived on time, worked efficiently, was personable, and a few hours later the new door installation was successfully completed. The installer did a thorough clean up of the area, helped me to move my belongings back into the garage, and his choice of radio ?music? while working was (mercifully) not loud and obnoxious. Finally, Easy Door offered partial restitution for the delays I suffered. This is a company that obviously cares about its work and its reputation in the community. Despite the sordid trail of problems, I would certainly hire them again.

This is the second time I've used this company - and once you use them - you'll never use another garage door company. Unfortunately, the garage door business seems to be loaded with crooks and incompetents, so finding an honest, competent, reliable, reasonably priced garage door is a company you are going to remember for the future. I have a large very heavy custom garage door on my house. When I've called for service in the past, the technician always tries to talk me into getting one of those standard roll-up garage doors - you know - the somewhat tinny ones. My door is unique and it fits in with the architecture of my house - but I need a heavy duty opener as the opener gets a good workout. The first time I used Easy Open, I was immediately impressed with the way they answer the phone - the receptionist acts like she's genuinely interested in your business and solving your problem - what a miracle! I told the Issue I was having, and she was pretty good at guessing what it might be and arranged for a technician to stop by to look at the door that afternoon. The technician identified the problem and recommended a fix that was about 1/3 the cost of 2 earlier estimates I received. I had him do the work, and I was good for 5 years. Last year, the door started sagging because of support arm was bending. I called Easy Open again - the same girl who "gets it' still works there, and again arranged for a technician. The support arms needed to be ordered, which they did right away, and the work was completed in 6 days - even with ordering the special parts. I have another property - this one in Orange County, and I needed a garage door repaired at that house. I had to deal with a different company up there - it took that other company 2 weeks to replace a simple stock door, and the opener has not functioned properly since being installed. Now I'm trying to get that company to come out and fix that defective opener or whatever the problem is. Dealing with the other company made me realize what a gem Easy Open is - and I thought I should write up my experience with them.

Easy Open Door did a good job on the installation. Door fits, works quietly. About 2 weeks after installation the door would not close. Owner Randy came out as soon as he got our call and fixed it. Problem was that one of the sensors at the bottom of the door was misaligned. He showed us what to watch for, in case it happened again.

I called one day and they guy came out the next day. He was here right when he said he would be. He was a really good guy. I was having problems with the controller. The thing was at the wrong angle, so he adjusted the angle. The connector to the door was loose, so he fixed that up. He checked everything and noticed things I didn't even know. He was here for over an hour so I think the pricing was great for the amount of work he did. The work was thoughtfully done as well.
