Great service and attention to detail. I have had a few of their guys out over the years and they’ve always taken great care of the fireplace and chimney and been extra crest with my tile roof, which can be finicky.

Chimney Sweeps Inc. comes out to my home every year for an inspection and cleaning when needed. I live in an older apartment and annual inspections put me at ease that my fireplace is always safe to use. Their technicians are always very polite, professional and have a lot of knowledge. I also love that they are a family-owned business, and I am supporting a local company.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The technician that came out took the time to explain everything to me to help me understand how the chimney and fireplace work and why he recommended the repairs he did. And ever since the work was done, our fireplace has been burning cleaner and actually feels safe for my home and my family. Thank you all so much!!

I had some problems with them. They did rectified them but it took them coming back 2 or 3 times so I wasn't really happy about that. They did the job but they left a terrible mess afterwards. I'm so disappointed because they portrait themselves as being excellent in their field, their very long term reputation but the way that they fixed the inside of the chimney is disappointing.

We purchased a home that has a wood burning fireplace and gas log fireplace with an electric igniter. I wanted both items checked while we are in the midst of a renovation. I asked if they were capable of checking both types and I was assured they are. On the first visit the technician did not notice on the work order that there were 2 separate fireplaces to check so they had to go back. On the second visit the technician claimed there was no electricity to check the gas fireplace. Completely untrue because we have a crew of people working on all types of things which require power tools. I called the company to discuss their findings after I received the invoice. The person who answered the phone was unable to answer my questions so he requested photos and an opportunity to speak with the technician and call me on Monday. I did not receive call so on Wednesday I called again and that person told me it was Julian I spoke with on Saturday and he would call me back. She explained to me that their tech was saying the fireplace was not connected and they don’t really work on gas fireplaces. I spoke with my general contractor who verified the fireplace has never been disconnected. When I made the appointment that was certainly one of the questions I asked ( Do you service gas log fireplaces?)! Just a frustrating process, all around! Would not recommend this company because they don’t return phone calls and the people who answer their phone don’t know what services they are capable of providing.

It was good, they check the chimney on the top and said that there was some damages that need to be fixed.

I used one of their promotions to get my chimney swept and an inspection of my fireplace integrity. I can't judge their chimney cleaning quality, but their motivation is to up-sell on an outrageous scale. After having a number of competitors come and also inspect my fireplace, Chimney Sweep, Inc stood alone with not informing me that my fireplace was rusted, unsafe and should not be used until dramatic repairs were made. Not only did Chimney Sweep, Inc not tell me about my unsafe rusted fireplace flue, but they proceed to quote me over $3000 for a chase and cap which would not make the fireplace safe to use. All their competitors quoted a price of under $1000 for the chase and cap, but would not take the job without performing repairs to the flue or a complete replacement. I am surprised they have a good of a rating as they do considering this kind of behavior. I have documents from Chimney Sweep, Inc, photos and documents from their competitors to support my claims.

Have three fireplaces. All the chimneys needed a lot of repair work and needed chimney caps. Went ahead and had them to do all the work. Obviously was much more expensive than just having one chimney swept. Would hire them again.

It was a terrific service. They had more work to be done and had it completed. The service worked out fine.

Workers were very professional and extremely thorough. They were aware that there would be no opportunity for repeat business for this particular house, yet were no less thorough.

They replaced the cap on the chimney (the previous cap had been incompetently installed by a handyman). They replaced the gas burner and the artificial logs. Everything went well. Quality work.

Chimney Sweeps pressures you to have them out to inspect your fireplace and chimney every year even though it is not used. They repeatedly make appointments without the customer's input.

Arrived on time and performed an inspection of my condo, which was built in the 1970's. Completed a chimney cleaning which was much needed. Confirmed that the termination cap needs replacement and no longer complies with current standards. While a costly replacement, will be using Chimney Sweeps in the future to perform this work.

Everything went great. Very professional, arrived on time and completed the work quickly. The chimney Cap had to be custom ordered and they returned a few weeks later to install it.
