Install My Lights - The Recessed Lighting Company

They got the kitchen done the first day, the bathrooms the second. Came in in stocking feet until they had covered all surfaces with plastic. Worked without taking a break both days until the jobs were done, cleaned up after themselves. Were very polite and courteous.

This is the second time I've used Install My Lights to do work on my house and I'd definitely hire them again.

They did an excellent job. I have already recommended them to a family member and they have used them as well. They did a great job for us. The price was good.

They did a great job. Everything was masked off and kept clean. They ran wires hooked up lights and fans along with switches and left no trace of the construction. They exceeded my expectations and I recommend them very highly

Great company, very friendly and knowledgable. They were on time even called 30 min prior to arriving. When arrived took shoes off and placed plastic everywhere. Did not leave any holes and patched using orange peel over the patch work. Left no mess when they were finished. The lights are awesome very bright and come with lifetime warranty as long as I live there. Very reasonable pricing, they explained everything to me. Will definitely recommend to any family or friends!!!

They arrived on time, covered all the floor areas and hall in the 4 rooms they worked in heavy duty plastic, then all walls from floor to ceiling in thin plastick sheeting that attached to the floor cover. They fished the electrical wires up the wall and across the ceiling in 3 rooms using only 2 very small holes in each room. They patched the holes and matched the wall texture exactly. I can't see any sign of the holes - perfect patch. They replaced 2 old switches in the box they used for the chandelier dimmer switch with out any additional charge, saying the old switches would not look good with the new one next to them. They removed all trash, packaging material, plastic, and my old kitchen fixture leaving the house perfectly neat. They replaced all moved furniture and made sure I approved everything. Great company.

It was excellent. They showed up right on time, maybe even a few minutes early. The conduit that they installed is a work of art. They were very clean, laid drop cloths down, surrounded their work area so there was no dust getting into the house, and were very meticulous. They were also very knowledgeable, true craftsmen.

The crew showed up promptly and started work immediately after I showed them around. They were very efficient and took great care in taping off all areas where dust and debris could fall. They each had a job and did everything as asked for in the proposal. They were very pleasant and I was very pleased with the final products. They left no trace that they were here. I would definitely recommend and use their services again. Very satisfied.

These guys were amazing. After we got our original estimate, we changed our plans several times. Each time, they simply revised their estimate and never made us feel bad for changing our minds. On the day of the work, they were incredibly professional. They laid down tarps to protect our furniture and floors. They planned their work, showed us what they had planned, and then executed perfectly. The work was done in a matter of hours. They left the house spotless, and we had very little clean up to do on the drywall. I was amazed. We would definitely use them again, and recommend them highly.

They were extremely neat, extremely fast, and the job was finished in one day, as promised. They left my home without a speck of dust, cleaner than when they arrived.

The two installers showed up exactly at the scheduled time, entered my home in stocking feet and laid protective plastic throughout my home and on the sidewalk and driveway leading to their truck. They reviewed the work to be completed and we made a few simple changes based my request and the installers recommendations. The drywall work complete with taping, mudding and retexturing the ceiling was excellent. All the fixtures were installed and the electrical rewiring work was completed to our satisfaction. They removed all the protective plastic as they left the house. There was no evidence they had been there. Even the driveway was totally clean. Job well done.

Linda from the office set up the appointment for the estimate and Andrew was right on time. Took a few minutes. We made a deal and I scheduled a date for the work. Andrew and his helper arrived promptly on the day of service. They were so careful to cover the entire working area with plastic before beginning any work. Everything was done to perfection! They even installed dimmers, which we had not discussed before. We love our new lighting fixtures and would definitely call Andrew again! Highly recommend this company.

Called to get an estimate on recessed lighting. A rep came out to discuss and give me an estimate. He said they could do it with very little work to the walls or ceilings. I said 6 in the living room that has 20+ high ceiling and 5 in he den. I had not moved into the house yet so I'm sure this makes it a little easier for them, but he said they do furnished houses everyday. A few days later the install team arrived on time and ready to go. I told them to be sure and use led lights as I don't want to have to change those high lights. No problem. The head install guy suggested that we use 6 lights in the den instead of 5. I told him my interior designer had suggested 5 and the main reason was not to have one over or in front of wall mounted TV above the fireplace. He thought 6 would be better and more balanced. Looks good. I have no idea how they do this installation. They make very small holes for switches or wiring. They patch and texture where ever they work. You just need to roll out a little touch up paint and you would never know they were there....except for the cool new lights.The left everything very clean. I plan on having them install 3 more lights in my master bathroom.

Install My Lights is AWESOME!! Every interaction from start to finish was extremely pleasant. Andrew came out to give me the estimate with no hard sell and I had a quote within 20 minutes. I had received quotes from two other contractors and Install My Lights was the lowest (by several hundred dollars). They did have quite a long lead time (about 5 weeks), but I had told them my schedule was flexible and that if they had any cancellations to give me a call and they did just that. I had gotten my quote on June 19th and the lights were installed on July 1st (not even two weeks later!). The installers were beyond professional. They were prompt, courteous, respectful...I could go on and on. They covered all exposed areas (floors, both tile and carpet) and enclosed each room in plastic so there was absolutely no mess. The even left my house cleaner than it was before! And the lights are absolutely beautiful! I am so happy with how they look. I cannot say enough good things about Install My Lights!

Andrew and his team represent InstallMyLights very well. Linda from his office called us to confirm our meeting and he arrived on time and took measures quickly and gave us some helpful information regarding the work to be performed as well as general information that we were not originally aware. As a result, we are going to schedule the work to be performed very soon and we look forward to having InstallMyLights do the work.

Andrew came by to give me an estimate for a few different projects. His bid was concise and accurate and reasonably priced. The installers did a great job, and seriously didn't leave a speck of dust. The final result is the newly added lights look exactly like the builder-installed and at a fraction of the cost.

Andrew did the initial estimate and was very quick and thorough. He took measurements, showed me examples of the lights to be installed, and gave me a written estimate. I decided to go with them on the spot so he told me that he will have the office call to make an appointment. The office called within 30 minutes after Andrew left and we set up the appointment. I was a bit disappointed that their earliest opening was about 4 weeks away, but I figure that means they are busy and that is a good thing. They told me over the phone that their crew would be there at 8am on the day of service. They also provided a reminder call a couple days before the appointment date. The day of the install, Hector and Victor showed up promptly at 8am. They got right to work with covering everything with plastic sheeting, and even removed their shoes before walking on our upstairs carpet. We didn't have any issues during the install and it was all wrapped up by about 2pm. Everything worked well and looked great and we are very happy with their work. They patched and textured every hole that they had to make in our drywall and after a few days of drying time it'll be ready for touch up paint. I would certainly use them again and have already recommended them to my parents for some similar work.

Easy, clean, quick, and not expensive

I think I covered it, but these guys are just fantastic. When they do have a question it makes sense. Do you want A or B? Built everything to code. Checked everything before they left. The only tiny flaw I could find was they didn't have a nine volt for my remote for the fan. I had one and it worked fine. Seriously, that's the only ding I could find and that's really ticky tacky(I should have had my own).

Andrew came and gave me a free quote for the work I was interested in completing. He is a tall glass of water and very friendly and courteous. I researched other companies and I choose Install My Lights. The workers showed up right on time, they left their shoes on the porch until the plastic was laid. Andrew, who I didn't know is the owner, also arrived and left his shoes on the porch. This was the third company regarding the remodel I had dealt with and no one took off their shoes. They were very neat, professional and were complete before the time they had estimated. I was so impressed I plan to use them for our lighting upstairs to update our home. The workers, Victor, Jose and Hector did an incredible job. Andrew called to follow up with me to ascertain if the work was satisfactory. I told him it was awesome and I was very happy. I love to support the smaller companies locally and will use them again in the future

Estimator arrived on time. Explained options. Listened to my concern. Gave estimate on time and said that I would receive a call to schedule. I received a call within an hour and scheduled install. Installers arrived on time, completely covered all areas. They confirmed what I wanted, made a couple of recommendations and completed install. Everything went perfectly. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them

Very prompt arrival during the visit where they gave an estimate. Efficient in giving options/suggestions and the final quote. Scheduling the date for the actual job was easy but they had a long backlog. Day of the install, they arrived promptly at the appointment time and left the work area clean when they finished.

Victor and Hector arrived on time and promptly began to work. They were careful not to walk in their shoes on our year old carpet and kitchen floor. Protective plastic was carefully taped around the kitchen as well as from the front door to the kitchen and to a bathroom. Prior to their arrival we had removed the metal frame and the plastic panels which had covered the fluorescent tubed lighting. They did not need to go into the attic as wiring was already there with the older lighting. Except for checking with us on the exact placement of the recessed lights, they worked quietly and efficiently. In addition to the installation, they patched holes and applied spackle where the former lights had been. The job took approximately five hours including sweeping off the patio area where they had set the saw to cut the molding strips and some light interior vacuuming. One problem I had was scheduling. We had contacted the company on or about February 14, and the first available time for the installers to come was March 19. Another small problem for me which did require clean-up was in the bathroom vanity area where they had left large puddles of water around the sink. Apart from those two small issues, we are extremely pleased!
