The team was very professional. They did a good job of moving the furniture when necessary and cleaning up afterwards. They did a good job of keeping the work moving and trying to ensure prompt timing of the deadlines. While there were some communication issues and some change orders, Ben was very reasonable at working out an equitable solution for both parties. I felt that his team was very good at being efficient with their time and delivering a quality product. When things needed touch up, they were very good at coming out quickly to resolve the issues and made sure that we were satisfied with the overall work. We are in the process of scheduling a time for them to come do our exterior paint and to work on a couple of other projects as well.

I was very happy with the work that Ben Robinson and his crew performed on our home. Our home looks awesome! It exceeded my expectations. Ben was on top of the job and his customer service was amazing. I had a few quotes from other vendors which were lower than Ben's, but his customer service, follow up and quality of work pretty much made it easier for me to decide to hire his company. In addition, Ben's company carried liability insurance for his workers which most companies do not. He spent at least an hour with us in the initial consultation going over every detail of what their job would entail. He wanted to make sure that all my concerns were addressed. He came prepared to meet with us. The other vendors that I met with only spent 15 to 20 minutes with me. I met Ben back at the end of September and he kept following with me for over a month while I was waiting for our HOA to approve the paint colors that we were planning to use. The other vendors I met with never even followed up with me once I met them for the initial estimate. His attention to the customer really made me more comfortable that he was the right guy for the job. He was able to connect with us on more of a personal level rather than just business. As for the work performed, he truly delivered. He did exactly what he was going to do and what we had talked about. No surprises! He was also very flexible when we wanted to add or change things during the job. His crew was dedicated to giving the same level of customer service as he did. They were courteous and efficient. The whole job was suppose to be completed within 4 to 5 days, but they were able to do it within 3 days. He also had a lot of people working on our house which helped out a lot. Furthermore, Ben is big on clean up. His crew cleaned up very well at the end of each day which was a plus. He also did a walk through with us at the end of the job to make sure every thing on our list was addressed and done. It's very rare to find someone that will do what they actually say. I was very lucky to find Ben and his team through Angie's list. We are planning to work with him again. Our back fence is in need of some repair and painting. We were very satisfied by the professionalism and timeliness of the franchise owner, Ben. We obtained multiple quotes for the work and he offered to match the best of them. The painters showed up on time and worked hard. We have high vaulted ceilings which make the space difficult to work in, but they did a great job with it. Painting is all about the details. Caulking, sanding, prep work, and in our case a series of 2" shutter which needed repainting. They turned out nicely. The only constructive comment I'd make is that they seemed to be in a bit of a hurry at the end of the last day and we noticed a few spots that need some touch up. However Ben has stayed in contact and is more than willing to have those things done, so we're not dinging their review at all on this account. I always got the impression that he is honestly dedicated to ensuring the customer is happy. I wish more businesses were like that. We're considering painting our dining room and kitchen next, the only rooms that weren't done. We'd be more than happy to use Certapro again.

Ben came out for a paiting estimate in early October. After checking our house he noticed that we possibly had a an active termite infestation. Rather than waste our money by painting prior to treating our house for termites, he gave us a ballpark estimate and suggested some termite companies we might use for treatment and repairs. After several estimates for termite repairs, we actually ended up using one of the companies that Ben recommended. I contacted Ben again a few weeks later and asked him to come back out and provide me with a more detailed estimate following the termite treatment and repairs. He was right on with the ballpark estimate he had given us earlier. During the time that we were working on the termite repairs, we received many painting estimates. The estimates we got were all over the place. Ben's estimate was right in the middle. We felt comfortable with Ben, the price, and Ben assured us that they would thoroughly prep the house. We hired Ben and he was able to set a start date shortly thereafter. The crew that came out were punctual, very polite and efficent. Our house had been negleted for quite some time and the damage to the exterior was pretty severe. It only took a few days for our house to look like new. We are very pleased with the results and we have received lots of compliments from our neighbors. While I have not noticed any problems with the job they did, I feel confident that if I do encounter any problems in the future, Ben will be easy to contact and will come back out and take care of any issues. We have some additional interior painting that needs to be done and we will definitly consider them for this job as well. Thanks, Ben!

Ben came out to give me a quote. He was extremely professional and answered all my questions and concerns. He quoted me 1825.00 for the full job which included priming dark color painted walls and patching/texturing walls prior to interior painting. He even knew the number of my old Dunn Edwards color I wanted my walls painted with. I am planning on scheduling my job with Ben and Certapro painters. When the job is completed I will write another review. I just felt I had to write a pre-job preview because I was so impressed by Ben.

They arrived at about 8:00am on Saturday morning and came with a crew of 3 people. They moved all of our heavy furniture and went right to work. The job was completed by 3:00 in the afternoon on Saturday and they had done an excellent job! They were clean, easy to communicate with and did 2 coats on walls, ceiling, window sills, baseboards and our front door. We had received 3 bids from other pain contractors, but Ben, the owner, was cordial and very knowledgeable. Our quote was handed to us before Ben left and we called him to schedule the next day after we received our last bid. We would not hesitate to recommend CertaPro Painters of Irvine to anyone who desires quality work along with efficiency and ease of communication. The paint used was Dunn Edwards, mixed to our specifications. We are very happy we found CertaPro Painters. Thank you to Angie's List for making this possible.

I couldn't recommend Ben more highly. I couldn't imagine things going any better than they did. This home is my childhood home that I inherited when my parents passed away. So, although I currently rent out this home, I grew up in the neighborhood and probably will live in the home in the future, so I wanted everything to be perfect. Unfortunately, I live out of state and I wasn't able to go home to supervise the work, so it's very important for me to work with someone who's honest and communicative. Ben explained the situation and all the possibilities in great detail, so I was comfortable working with him long distance. The exterior woodwork had suffered extensive termite damage, so another contractor had stabilized the termite damage and replaced all the wood trim. When I spoke with Ben I told him that I was interested in saving money, but I didn't want someone to do a half-baked job that would need to be redone in a year or two. The new wood had to be repainted and I wasn't sure if the whole house needed to be repainted. Ben gave me 3 proposals. He said he could paint just the woodwork with two coats, he could paint the woodwork with 2 coats and the rest of the house with one coat, or he could paint the whole house with two coats. Giving the woodwork two coats and the rest of the house one coat made the whole house look brand new and fabulous. He also said it would mean that he shouldn't have to come back and paint the stucco in a couple of years as would have been the case if he'd have just painted the woodwork. This option didn't cost too much more than just painting the woodwork and was much less than giving the whole house two coats. So, by Ben being creative, he gave me a cost effective and solid solution. During the painting he kept me updated on everything. His communication skills are great. The work looks great. I went out a few weeks after he did the work and the house looks better than it has in years. Another trait of a good contractor is how he handles mistakes. Our renters told me his team had accidentally painted over a lock. I emailed Ben and his team fixed the problem right away. I expect this paint job to last a long time, but whenever I need more painting done, I'll call Ben.

In general, the job went well. I have a fairly small single-family, 1600 sq-ft with a side yard that is enclosed by a fence, as well as an attached garage. One side of the house makes up the border with my neighbor's yard, hence a portion of the work was done in my neighbors yard. Originally, we had gotten a quote in July, but I wasn't ready to spend the money. We started in September off the same quote I received in July. In general, the proposal process was very smooth and professional. The proposal did a decent job of laying out the details of the job. Everything was typed out formally and signed. The prep, painting, and cleanup was done very well. When the workers were done, with the exception of the remaining paint left for future touchups, it was as if the workers were never there even though the house looked great. No complaints from my neighbors either. We did have one issue where the fence was not painted in the color as I expected. They were supposed to color match. He did offer to repaint the fence in the desired color for free. However, the color that it was in looked fine, so we agreed that if my HOA was okay with the color change, then no repainting would be necessary. My HOA had no issues, and since then I have been very happy.

After a thorough research of painters in my area from Angies List, I selected a couple of painters to get quotes from. Called 2 painters on Friday 9/20 - Ben Robinson from CertaPro Painters returned my call within an hour and set up to come out for estimate the next Monday. (The other painter never returned my call). Ben was right on time on Monday. We walked around the entire property, Ben handed me some ref info to review - while he did a thorough estimate of the job - it took him about 30 minutes. At the end, I sat down with Ben, he printed out his estimate and went completely through it. His estimate was $3500 which was right in line with what I expected it to be. I decided to go with him and not waste more time getting other quotes. I felt very comfortable going with him based on the numerous Angie's List excellent reviews and also looking through the customer comment sheets that Ben provided me to review. We set up to start on Oct 7. Ben did suggest changing the color of the shutters but when I eventually decided to stick with my initial color he was fine with that. I had noted to Ben that I was fairly flexible with when he could start to do the work. On Oct 2, he called me to confirm paint colors and also ask if he could start the next day. I said that would be great and we scheduled for them to be here to start at 8:30 am. The next morning around, 8:15, Ben called to let me know they were running a little late and would be 30-60 minutes late - I told him that was not problem. Ben and 2 of his painter showed up within the next hour - we quickly went through all the details and the 2 guys immediately got out the pressure washer and cleaned the entire outside of the house. It took about 2 hours - at their completion, the lead -- whose name is also Ben, knocked on my door to inform me that they were done and they would be back the next morning (they needed to let everything dry thoroughly before starting to paint). Ben also asked me if it was OK to start at 7 - I said that was fine with me. The next morning they showed up at 7 - there were about 5 guys there initially (the wind was picking up and they wanted to get the spray painting done as quickly as possible before the winds got too bad) - they spent about 2-3 hours masking everything and started to paint. At the end of the day they had done most of the stucco (2 coats) and alot of the trim. They returned the next day (about 5 guys). They all worked very hard to get all the trim completed and do the fine detail work. Job was virtually done by noon time when I had to leave. I did a final walkdown with Ben (the lead) at that time . There were only a couple of very minor touch up areas that I noticed - they very quickly took care of them. I was very pleased with the job that Ben and his crew did. They all seemed to work well together and there was no wasted time. I would highly recommend them for any painting.

Excellent. Ben was prompt in responding to my inquiry when I contacted him to get a bid. He was out the next day to look at the office space to provide a bid, and I had the bid the next night. His crew scheduled the work for just a few days after that and they did a wonderful job. We had a bit of a challenge finding a vendor quickly to replace the carpeting in the office and he even provided a referral and the carpet vendor also did a great job. Ben was efficient, prompt and extremely professional. Crew cleaned up after their work and left everything neat. Excellent service!

WOW?that was my first reaction to the work done by Ben and his crew. Ben came out for a quote, took very detailed notes and had a crew on site the next day. They painted my house quick and the job was fantastic. Nice clean, straight lines. They even took the time to clean up a prior sloppy paint job so that my job was perfect. I can?t thank them enough. Everything was well organized, clean and professional right from the start. They finished quick too! Thank you!

From the time we first met Ben, until the job was completed, we were very pleased. Victor was the 'crew chief' and he was definitely detail oriented, which we appreciated. When we need a painter again, we will definitely use CertaPro of Irvine!

It went very will. The Team arrived on the agreed upon day and completed the power wash. As we were not sure about the color for the stucco, they returned with several colors which they painted samples for my wife to pick from. Once she picked the color, they proceeded to complete the painting job arriving punctually every day and cleaning up at the end of each day until the job was fininshed. Additionally they completed the siding repair as previously agreed upon and workmanship was excellent, you cannot tell there was ever an issue with the siding. They painted the siding, stucco, trim, facia, garage door and front door. We used 4 different colors (shades). I am very impressed with the professionalism and the quality of the work. The walk thru was very smooth, because there were no mistakes or issues to fix. The entire job was perfect and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this company without reservation.

Having paid the price in the past for hiring mediocre or problematic contractors whose words were not trustworthy, I now research them thoroughly before I even talk to them. My two story house was long overdue for exterior painting and I took a lot of time to select the right contractor, including using Angie's list, which was very helpful. I don't intend to have the house painted again for long time and was seeking a top contractor who would give me the quality I wanted. The house is large and had special problems, like stucco repair, and after talking to Ben Robinson, the owner of CertaPro, Irvine, I felt the search time was well spent. I asked a lot of questions in person and later on the internet, and he gave me straight answers in a timely manner, which I appreciated. During my conversations with him, I came to the conclusion that he was very professional and cordial, and that he would do everything that he said he would do, and do it very well. And, that is exactly how it went. The paint crew headed by Ben Bernik was conscientious, competent, hard-working and attentive to detail. Bernik and his crew were also very friendly and likeable, and eager to provide the best customer service possible. The result was a house and adjoining walls and fences that looked fresh and beautiful, and for a change, an experience with a contractor that was very positive in all aspects. In August, 2013, my daughter wanted to have her house painted in Aliso Viejo, CA. This is also a two story house that I co-own with her and it also had special problems, like a zero property line and unsightly window caulking that I asked to have stripped and redone. Although my daughter was impressed with the appearance of my house, she wanted to include at least two other contractors in the bidding process, both of whom were also highly rated on Angie's list. The result was the same. Although their bid was a few hundred dollars higher than the lowest bidder, we easily selected CertaPro Irvine because they offered the best value including service the other contractors did not. No doubt, having a great experience with them several months prior made a positive impression and influenced our decision. Ben Robinson came to the house twice to ensure I understood exactly what he intended to do because of the special problems, and it was done exactly as he explained. I was fortunate enough to have the affable and easy going Ben Bernik as the lead painter again and I had full confidence that he and his crew would do a great job, and they went the extra mile and did just that. The house now looks almost new. An excellent job and my daughter and I are very pleased with the appearance of the house and the experience with CertaPro, Irvine. Based on two very favorable experiences with CertaPro, Irvine, they are, in my estimation, the best painting firm I have ever dealt with and I would highly recommend them to any homeowner who desires to deal with a very professional firm with good people who do excellent work and value customer satisfaction.

Owner Ben Robinson gave us a thorough and fair estimate (and his team finished the job for exactly that price.) Victor and his crew showed up on time every day, worked hard and got the job done quickly with a minimum amount of trouble to us. Ben has a very professional crew that left me satisfied with every detail. They are very customer friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. They took their time to prepare and paint a large amount of wood siding, wood trim and wood exterior door the right way. The results were excellent and I would certainly use them again. I also thought that their price was very reasonable and fair.

When I left a message and requested that Certapro Painters came out to give me a quote, Ben Robinson, the owner called me back immediately. I was working and missed his call but he persistently follow up with calls to make sure that we connect. He then came out, on a Saturday morning. He came prepared and gave me a detailed estimate of the work to be done at my house. In the end, I did not go with his company because I got a much lower quote with another company but I would rate him A+ for his professionalism.

The owner was very thorough at time of estimate, very detailed. He spent the longest time with homeowner than all other companies. We spoke only by phone 2-3 times, once job was begun. Workmen were not always punctual, but worked late to finish days jobs and to leave property clean/neat. A miscommunication with a substitute painter who worked for one day resulted in having to repaint his work. Overall, the job was completed as stated, the property was left in good condition,the workers very respectful and responsive. We are very happy with the painting. The price was competitive with the other two estimates received.

I went with them because they were very thorough when they came, you know pointing out little details that needed to be fixed and that they would do that. One of the reasons I went with them was their attention to detail, but then when they did come to do the work, they didn't really fix that stuff. I think they had me fill out a survey and after that he sent the guy back out to fix the stuff and ultimately I was happy.
