Description of Work: The company provided an estimate on a full fireplace remodel. They were slightly above the other companies in terms of cost (but negotiated with us a bit) and they were punctual, cordial and explained what they could do in detail (and that aligned well with our ideas), so we chose them to complete the work. | |Part of our remodel was to have the fireplace reduced in size (mantle was at 6 ft and we wanted it dropped by at least 12" so we could add a new a TV set above it). The other part was to remodel it so instead of a brick look, it had a new travertine facade. | |The final product was fantastic. THey really worked hard to get it right and ensured we were happy each step of the way. We were very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Eric and his team removed an ugly rock pony wall in our living room and its accompanying ugly rock fireplace. He transformed our fireplace with a beautiful concrete plaster cast mantel with legs, and rebuilt our pony wall. Except for a painting mishap at the end, everything went very well, and it looks gorgeous!

 + 3 moreThis report is long due.It all started with us wanting to mount our flat-screen on the wall in the family room of the home we were moving into. It had a dated brick fireplace which needed to go. That meant tearing it down, replastering it , drawing the cable lines up to where the TV was going to be and painting the wall. Eric & his competent team took care of it all. He communicated very well. Start date & end date where on dot. They also painted the wall a "pomegranate red" for me and that transformed the whole room! Mike did the painting and also took care of a very labour intensive paint job on our stairs , carefully not spilling any paint on our new carpets! Gregg, the electrician fixed all the problems we have in the house that occurred after another contractor put the recess lighting. I wish i had known Eric & his team earlier!! They did a fantastic job.

 + 0 moreEverything went smoothly and I like the new fireplace. Any concerns I had, he was able to address and he wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. Part of the thing was that they had to redo the wall. I wasn't happy with the work that they did, but they redid it until I was happy. The painter I had come out fixed for me instead, but it was fine because he didn't need to. He was still willing to work with me which was the important part.
Description of Work: They tour out my old fireplace and put in a new one. It was a complete replacement.

 + -1 moreThey were prompt for the quote and it was easy to read and I undestood the terms. There was no pressure to change or add to your order, They showed up each day on time and did what they had contracted to do. I was kept informed at all times and they went out of there way to clean up.
Description of Work: They came on a Wednesday and took the fireplace down. It was a very large brick fireplace. On Thursday/Friday they fixed the wall to match the texture and repainted the wall. During this time a precasrt fireplace was made to order. It was delivered and installed the following Tuesday and it is beautiful!

This was a project I had been waiting years to do and now I wish I had not waited as long. They were very detail oriented which I liked. If I ever need another fireplace design I will definitely call them.
