Nightmare contractor. I repeatedly had to call or email to get them to complete the work. Although the contract said that the job was supposed to take four days, it took six weeks to complete. This ''estimate'' seemed impossible to meet since Universal Fences never sent enough employees to complete the job and the employees did not consistently start and finish at the same time on the days that they were working. Furthermore, their employees were very messy and unprofessional - left debris, trampled plants, damaged a new deck, and could not even install gate posts properly on the first try (i.e., predrilling holes into the post before putting in the bolts - damaged the posts). This company was extremely unresponsive to complaints because they would claim that any damage was incidental and the items damaged were on the property line, so they weren't responsible. Finally, I still don't have an invoice!
Description of Work: Universal Fences was supposed to install a backyard fence with two gates in four days. The fence was 6' tall on three sides and varied in height on a common wall between my neighbor's and my homes.
