Excellent--the technician was very professional and courteous, as has been my experience with all their technicians and customer service support staff.

I had an air conditioning system tuneup and I was actually surprised at the level of service provided for the amount paid. The service men conducted themselves professionally and particularly intelligently. These two were able to go as in-depth as I wanted to go and understanding the test they were performing and the parts of the air-conditioning system. This to Alex and Justin were obviously highly skilled and experts in aircon systems. as a woman I often have to be aware that I’m not taking advantage of. I Was treated with complete respect and spoken to as an equal. I am impressed and if my air-conditioning unit fails this is the first company I will be calling

The procedure went well and didn't take too long. Also, the tech was very honest and informative.

Technician (Nick - first time at my home) arrived when expected and carried out a full system evaluation. Shared all test results with me (all checks within spec for the compressor unit). Full service took approximately 90 minutes. All filters, UV bulb, and necessary repairs are covered under our annual maintenance agreement (~$420/yr). Nick displayed a very professional attitude and competence in his work. In the 12 years we have had our current system, which American installed, we have had only one repair expense that was not covered, and only one service call-back. My wife and I have been extremely please with this company.

Christian C. did an excellent job in servicing our AC unit. He was very helpful and went above and beyond his service by replacing our broken entry door knobs in an efficient and fast manner and also helped with our computer and printer. As senior citizens, we appreciated the extra help he provided. Johnny V. was very thorough in explaining the services provided by AACH and the value of putting in Radiant Barriers in the attic to help keep it cooler and help the AC to work more efficiently. Thank you to everyone at AACH who provided us with helpful and courteous service.

Alex showed up on time and explained everything he would be doing. He not only checked our unit but the air flow in the whole house. He needed to replace some filters and had everything he needed in his truck. He was not only professional but also very cognizant of any concerns and our property. We will definitely use them again and ask for Alex to perfor:the service if possible.

The service provider Hank was very professional and thorough explaining all he did and why with pictures of before and after of our roof unit. He also checked the thermostat and the air duct vents in the attic and replaced the filter . We have not used this company before and we were pleased and satisfied,

Great. Professional and efficient service as usual.

American sold me an AC & Furnace system for $9,596.00, utilizing my existing duct work. During the first scheduled maintenance, 6 months later, they told me my existing duct work was inadequate for the new system, and the new equipment was only operating at 50% efficiency. They then tried to sell me new ducting for an additional $ 9,000.00. When I complained, I was offered a 10% discount on the new duct work. So, I did some research, and I found out that all newly installed HVAC systems are required by law to pass a HERS test to prove they were installed properly. American never ordered one, because they knew it wouldn't pass with the old duct work. The law also requires that if a new system fails the HERS test, the installers must make any and all repairs at no cost to the customer. American ignored my requests to perform a HERS test, so I filed a complaint with the State Licensing Board. Once contacted by the Licensing Board, American contacted me the same day. Without hesitation and within 3 days, they installed a new duct system, all for FREE, and the system subsequently passed the HERS test. I was able to find justice, but I wonder how many other people may be victims of this unethical business practice. Everyone that I encountered at American was extremely courteous and professional. So, it lowered my guard. Either the employees don't know of these unethical practices by upper management or the owner, or their great customer service is all part of a systemic business model. I just want future potential buyers to be aware before contacting American for any HVAC work.

Better than in the past. For TWO YEARS I was unable to get my FAN ON to work. Fernando finally discovered that the unit was not properly wired when it was installed and all the techs who have come to service the unit in the past two years failed to realize it.

The technician explained well and gave us choices of different thermostats. And he promptly set up the follow up appointment for us. So overall good except I found some black duct tape on my bathroom door and stucco scattered on my bathroom and bedroom floor which had never happened before. I guess those were falling from the attic when the technician climbed up there. Not a big deal, just need to clean it up.

Brett did a great job, he even replaced my a/c filter which was not part of the service request.
