Terrific job. Very responsive. They would quickly come back and re-touch individual items if needed. This was all the more remarkable: [a] in an old building; [b] where everything was brought in and out via elevator; and [c] with persnickety neighbors who would complain if there were issues with dust or noise.

Our experience with Construction Masters was absolutely amazing. We could not ask for a better experience. Mickey and Moshe came to our home to provide us with an estimate and they were prepared, professional, engaging and we really felt we could trust him. That experience carried through with everyone on the team. Moshe, is amazing. We sat down with him and came up with a design that was exactly what we were looking for, and then some. He took the time to understand and offer insights and suggestions that were very valuable. I can't say enough good things about the guys working at our house. They did a fantastic job with making it all happen. Our scope of work included a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, flooring and paint. Construction Masters is everything you want in a General Construction Company - incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and professional. They coordinated everything and everyone well, kept us informed, answered every question quickly and were great to work with.

We needed to have major work done to our house. We just moved to LA so I didn’t have any recommendations. I went on Angies List and called a couple companies. Moshe and Mickey came by, took a copy of my plans and called me back in less than a week to review things. They met with me and had a list of suggested changes (keep in mind this was before I had given the project to them). Then had different recommendations from layout of bathrooms, to location of lights, a few structural changes (which helped bring down the cost of framing). He also presented his estimate, which was a right between the 2 other estimates I had received. I decided to go with Construction Masters and have to say, best decision ever. They finished on time and were very detail oriented.

Ruben was very honest with the estimate. There was a section of my balcony that had hidden damage due to water and dry rot. It did cost extra in materials and time to fix the balcony. I had a lot of deferred maintenance that needed to be done. The house could not have any significant changes to the exterior. They did as I asked, the house looks almost new. My house had two stories and is large, I have cathederal ceilings in the living room and master bed room. It took nine business days for the job to be completed. They sanded, scrapped, power washed, dug a trench, repaired cracks in the stucco, replaced stucco, primer coat, repaired wood, replaced wood, painted. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and they answered all my questions and adressed any concerns that I had.

We had a NIGHTMARE when we bought a house in Santa Monica & hired another construction company to fix our foundation. We were so "burned" that we got other estimates, but decided to do the work later. When we sold the house, the buyer insisted on getting the foundation repaired. I'd gotten a GOOD estimate from a company called Construction Masters (at the same time as the other company), but STUPIDLY went with the other company. I had kept the estimate Mickey and Moshe had given me when we bought the house & they honored that price. The estimate also included a kitchen and bathroom remodel as well. I needed them to match it "apples to apples" with the (horribly over-priced) estimate buyer had gotten for same job. They came back with estimate that was almost HALF of theirs. :) They did a GREAT job & the buyers were VERY happy with their work. CAN'T recommend Construction Masters enough - GREAT, HONEST WORK DONE BY GREAT, HONEST MEN!

Let me start by saying that Moshe Cohen is not only a great contractor, but he is a great person. He tells it to you straight up front, he’s honest and stands by his word and his work. About 3 years ago we discovered Moshe and requested an estimate on an addition to our house, at the time we weren't quite ready to make a move, but Moshe still gave us his time and attention, over the next year we called him with different requests and modifications to our initial project and not once did he seem annoyed. Fast forward a year and we were finally ready to make a move. He did all the Framing, Plumbing, Electrical, Stucco and installed a new garage door. He also remodeled two of our bathrooms. Since then we've utilized his services numerous times and every time it's been a great experience. When it comes to your home, you want the best, Moshe and his team deliver nothing but.

After getting 3 estimates from A-rated Angie's List contractors, I chose Construction Masters because of the owner, Moshe. He is personable, professional and ethical, and his pricing was reasonable. He was not the least expensive, nor was he the most expensive. He provided me with a detailed estimate and schedule. All in all, he finished the project according to schedule...taking into consideration we had a few setbacks which are to be expected with any large job. What I appreciated most about Moshe is his responsiveness and open communication. He always returned calls in a timely manner and explained everything thoroughly. He accommodated a few changes I wanted to make after we started the job, and was good at creative problem solving whenever it was needed. He was always respectful and was careful to minimize the disruption and dust during construction. I couldn't have had a better experience and would recommend Construction Masters anytime.

We are so happy with the outcome! Moishe (the owner) and Tom (the project manager) were very attentive and were on site often to supervise the work. Whenever ever we had a question or concern, they would get right back to us or swing by the job site to make sure we were satisfied. The project took slightly less time than originally scheduled, which was very nice considering how disruptive a big project like this can be.

I love my contractor! How many times have you heard that after a major remodel? Never from any of my friends. We interviewed six contractors for a major kitchen remodel that included removing a load bearing wall. We had narrowed the field to two before meeting Tom & Moshe. Not only was their bid very competitive, they were the ONLY contractors to OFFER a FIRM, FIXED PRICE BID! The others that were close included caveats that remodeling always uncovered unexpected conditions that would increase the cost. Tom said he has been doing this work for so long, it was like he had x-ray vision. Anything that surprised him when he opened the wall or ceiling would be his mistake and he, not me, should be responsible for that. Only changes I made to the plan or additional work I requested would increase my cost. We agreed on a start date and when he delivered the contract I was surprised to see it included a firm completion date and it was sooner than I expected. Work commenced on the agreed-to date and I was amazed at how efficient the crews were. We had every craft involved and it was like a well-rehearsed play. Crews arrived, did their jobs well and left just in time for the next crew to start. We sometimes had carpenters, electricians and plumbers all in the same day. Tom and Moshe were onsite every morning ensuring everyone knew what had to be done that day, checking the quality and schedule of the work and arranging deliveries. They made us feel so comfortable. Every time I got concerned that we were behind schedule, they patiently explained what was happening and when to assure me the schedule was still valid. We did run into problems with work performed by other companies I had hired before Construction Masters. One window had been installed improperly and Construction Masters worked with the window company to get them to pay for the fix. I was so pleased with the work and their ideas for subtle improvements to the plan that I expanded the scope of work considerably. What started as a kitchen remodel ended as a whole-house makeover and what looks like a brand new, more modern house. Many of our neighbors asked for Construction Masters contact info for work they now want to perform. As Tom said during our first meeting: "Of course I get good reviews. If I finish on time for the price we agreed to and solve any of your problems along the way, what else would you say?" He's right about that. Thanks guys!

Wow! I can't believe what Construction Masters did with my bathroom. It’s like a dream come true, my bathroom is bigger, with separate shower, Jacuzzi, custom made cabinets, new bidets toilet, new windows, skylight and flooring. They also installed resets light throughout the house. Everything just the way I wanted it. They are always there to answer my questions. Construction Masters is a really wonderful company that they came to my house the day after I called them, they offered me a free estimate and came in at a reasonable price. They started working the next week. The workers were always on time, very friendly, and very clean. I love my new kitchen and bedroom it increased the value of my home, and every time family and friends come over they always tell me how amazing my new modern kitchen looks. I will always come back to them as my next project is to remodel my bathroom. Construction Masters be prepared for my call.

UNBELIEVABLE! Construction Masters remodeled my kitchen and bathroom over 3 years ago. The handle on my bathroom sink would not open so I thought I would call and ask them if I should phone a plumber. Moshe, the owner, told me that there could be a defect with the faucet and stopped by himself to take a look. He phoned the plumbing store to order a new faucet, uninstalled the old one and returned two days later with a new one and installed it all at no cost to me. I also asked him to take a look at my wood floors in the kitchen where there were a lot of chips. He said it is from dropping water on the wood. He took photos and sent them to his wood floor installers and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and replace the pieces. You just don't find this kind of service now a days. What a pleasure!

Construction Masters was great to work with. We were adding a room addition to our home in Encino and we needed a general contractor. We were put in contact with this company from a close friend. They responded to our inquiry almost immediately. Our entire relationship has been professional and honest. They kept a constant line of communication open and clear throughout the entire project. I will continue to use these guys for any future general contracting needs (thinking about bathroom remodeling next!), this is one satisfied customer right here!!!

This is our second experience with Construction Masters. Our bathroom started looking outdated after getting used to our new kitchen and living room. Moshe and his crew did a wonderful job! we now have a beautiful bathroom with custom cabinets, granite counter tops and top of line appliances. We will use Construction Masters for any remodeling needs in our future and we highly recommend them!

This is my original review. There were a few issues on quality that I had to take care of, one example flush out shower valve from pipe shavings that their plumber said I needed to change the cartridge, caulking and cracking grout. Kitchen cabinet missing a hinge and what I thought was excess grout was actually covering a chip in the bath tile. I had plenty of tile left over for it to be replaced. Time will tell on other quality concerns. One thing they did that still bothers me today. They will add the word IF to your contract. We will do whats in the contract if it is this way or if you do this. Example in contract remove existing galvanized pipes. Their interpretation remove existing galvanized pipes IF EXPOSED. I was told do you want me to tear down the whole building? No just remove the old galvanized pipes and replace with new copper pipes. They wanted to repipe the easiest way possible. Another example in contract install new metal flashings on all new pipes and vents. Their interpretation install new metal flashings IF YOU PUT new pipes and vent. I could not believe we are looking at the same contract and Tom is adding words to it that are not there. When pushed on these issues they use retaliation. We will do the work in the contract but what we will do to you is submit a change of order for everything we did that was not on the contract and have you pay for it. Do you want to do it that way? That is something you never want to hear from your contractor. I gave them a big contract and they threatened me with retaliation. That is something I will never forget. My service provider provided a response that was deleted because they deleted my original review. He can put his response on this review. Basically it said they opened up walls to dig out the old galvanized pipes and on the vents and pipes for the roof it was a mistake on their part and was corrected. This is my update I wanted to put on the original review. A response to their response. The truth is the rear of the building was opened up to install a new water line to the upstairs units and so tile would not be broken during the repipe. It was not opened up to dig out buried galvanized pipes. It was already made clear that was not going to happen. Regarding installing new pipes and vents on the roof, by corrected I assume you mean I was told it was mistakenly put into the contract. That was not going to happen either. I accepted it. I held my tongue because you were still working on the building and after talking with Tom I was being threatened with additional costs that I had no control of because whatever work he was thinking of charging us for was already done. I had already received a change of order statement that came out of nowhere after we had a disagreement, charging us for a water line to the frig, laying some plywood on the kitchen subfloor and changing a drain pipe after it was exposed. All not in the contract and I did not have the chance to agree with the price. Just this is what you owe us. The way Tom talked to me and my wife that afternoon is unacceptable for a professional contractor. One thing I forgot to mention Tom would not repair ONE railing base which was in the contract because I did not mention it to his repairman when he was here. He refused because it would cost him more money to bring him back. Since when am I the quality control, I thought that was what I was paying him for. They do not do a good job of reviewing the subcontractors work and if the job is not right having it done right. If I do not bring up bad work they will let it go. I gave them a 252K contract and had to get the railing base repaired myself even though repair railing base was in the contract. You can give my number to anyone who wants to look at the quality of your work, inside and out. Also in the contract the project was to be completed in 3 months. It took 5 1/2 months to complete. I was tired of my wife asking if anyone is coming to do work today. This is an apartment building and vacancies cost money. I found out Tom is a good salesman in the beginning but comes up short on his word. That is why the final check was left on the door for him to pick up. No handshake after this project.

Very well, work was started on time, finished on budget and was done very well. Great communication, good materials were used throughout. Highly recommended.

What an excellent Contractor, as well as Designer. Tom’s design was with us from the start of our extensive project right up until our move in day. Their team drew up blueprints, got them approved and then executed our 2 additions, demolition, and renovation, on schedule and expertly. I give them top marks for everything, including being good people.

It was a great experience working with Construction Masters. They just completed my room addition and complete home remodel. I was really worried at the beginning of the project since this was the first time I hired someone for such a huge project. Moshe supervised the job from beginning to end. He was on top of the project and very helpful with suggestions as far as materials, flooring, fixtures, etc. I am really thankful and appreciate that his pricing was honest and according to my budget. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for an excellent contractor.

I cannot say enough good things about Moshe Cohen and his crew of craftsmen. I had a very old kitchen that was in serious need of a complete overhaul. I called and made an appointment with Moshe and he showed up exactly when he said he would, took the time to listen to what I needed done, gave me ideas and provided me with a competitive estimate. Once the kitchen remodel started, they made sure I knew what was going on each day. Moshe did a wonderful job managing his construction crew. He walked us through every part of the process and was always available for questions. We felt like he and his team really did care and wanted to do their best work. After they were all finished we noticed something that we wanted adjusted and he immediately scheduled his painters to come back in order to be sure it was exactly as we wanted. We will be using Construction Masters in the future. Thank you to Moshe and his team, we truly love the outcome.

Construction Masters did an outstanding job on the remodel of my entire first floor. The project was completed within my budget and the given time. Moshe, the owner of Construction Masters, was very reliable and easy to reach. He came up with many great ideas and cost saving solutions. I am so pleased with the quality of work and I highly recommend them. My project entailed: removal of walls to create an open space, new windows, doors, electrical work, plumbing work, air conditioning, new custom kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, gorgeous hardwood floors, and a completely new guest bathroom. Moshe and his crew were wonderful. I am in love with my newly remodeled home.

We had Construction Masters remodel two of our bathrooms. They also did electrical work around the house. We could not be happier with the work Moshe, Tom and his team has done. Both bathrooms are complete remodels and they now look absolutely stunning! We received quality workmanship, a fair price, and the utmost in professionalism. Moshe was great with any questions or modifications that came up and his cabinet guy, Jacob, was amazing! We used Construction Masters for a complete remodel of our house. We did everything from the floors up, including renovating the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. At first, we were very worried about the remodel as we have heard so many horror stories about terrible contractors out there. We met with several contractors before the remodel and felt at ease with Moshe. Moshe was very professional, polite, and took the time to explain every little detail and answer all of the questions we had. Based on our meeting with Moshe, and the excellent reviews online we hired Construction Masters. Construction Masters has its own crew which was supervised by Tom. Tom and the crew worked very fast to complete our remodel. They were very professional, polite, arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves. Moshe and Tom were always available to answer any of our questions and they went the extra mile to make sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Construction Masters to anyone looking for a honest, hardworking, contractor. We will definitely be using them again in the future!!!

We used Construction Masters to remodel our kitchen and living room. We removed a wall to expand, new wood flooring in the living room including staircase and recess lighting in the living room and paint. My husband and I visited one of their job sites in the afternoon and asked some general questions. Moshe and Tom came over to our home that same night. They were very professional and explained everything to us in detail.? They listened to what we wanted to do and took all the measurements that night. We met with Tom a few days later at our house and went over the numbers and timeframe. We signed the contract on Friday and they were at our home on Monday morning to start the demo. Moshe and his crew were professional and always cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful with our furniture and kept everything as clean as possible. They did such an amazing job and I would highly recommend them.

What an impressive "team" starting with the warm and caring Tom, to the focused/get the job done Moshe ?owner? ... Tom, who juggled everything and everyone to get the job done. I had water damage and decided to remodel my entire kitchen. I was on a tight schedule. My family was coming out for my son?s wedding. It was down to the wire , but we did it! Tom was incredibly patient and accommodating even as I stressed him out with my last minute changes. He truly went above and beyond and always did whatever I needed in the warmest manner... "whatever it takes to make you happy". Thank you Tom and the whole team included Great job!

Construction Masters is one company you can trust. I use Angie?s List a lot, sometimes I get disappointed but not this time. From the initial call through their first bid I knew that these guys are legit. I called Construction Masters for their great reviews and chose them because of their honesty. Nothing was left out, the good, the bad and the ugly. Just the way I like it. They completed an interior remodeling project as promised and within our budget. I'm extremely happy with the outcome and will definitely use them again. Big thanks to Ruby who took his time to make sure my personal belongings were kept untouched and his attention to details.
