Construction Masters

Masters Construction is a class A act. From the first time Moshe entered my home until the end. He always kept me informed on who would be coming to my house and what they would be doing and when I should expect them. I've never had a contractor keep me so well informed. He also checked with me after each part of the job was completed to make sure I was happy with the work. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Victor was also very polite and a very hard worker. I will contact them for my next remodel in a few months. Very Happy!

We bought a new home in June 2014 and immediately started several major construction projects. Moshe?s expertise helped us immensely in accomplishing all our projects on time and on budget. His pricing is very reasonable especially given the level of service he provides and the exceptional craftsmanship. I really loved collaborating with him on all the projects; he has great ideas, but more importantly listened to what I was looking for to come up with suggestions that will work best for our unique situation and budget. I work from home so I was around his team all day; they are professional, courteous and very helpful. Over the course of several months Moshe has become much more than our contractor, he is a good friend and we are so grateful to have met him. He is an absolute pleasure to be around. We have several more major projects to do and without question Moshe is the only person we will hire to do the job. If you are looking to do remodeling, I can't recommend Moshe and his team enough.

Let me cut to the chase with this review: do yourself a favor, place those other contractors to the side and hire Construction Masters to complete your project: you'll be glad you took my advice. We hired CM this spring to do a complete kitchen remodel in our 1920's Spanish house. The project was completed on budget, on time, and to our complete satisfaction. We started with a pool of three contractors, and selected Tom Malki because in the first meeting he spent the most time in our house, scoping out specifications, taking measurements, and completing a 3D rendering on his laptop, which helped us to visualize what the "after" project was going to look like. From there, the project progressed as scheduled, with different specialty teams working on specific elements: wallboard, ceiling, tile floor, electrical, plumbing, etc. Each of the crews included members who were good at their crafts, and were professional to interact with. Tom was there to supervise much of the time, and his attitude throughout the project was great. We started to call him 'no problem' Tom. I hope you'll get to see firsthand what this organization can do for your project, as well.

Construction Masters is absolutely THE BEST!!! Moshe and his team are true professionals. Tom spent a lot of time helping us design our new kitchen and the results speak for themselves. We have beautiful new hardwood floors and a master bathroom fit for a king. Construction Masters delivered exactly what they promised. Thank you for making our home a palace.

When I set up the estimate appointment over the phone, I was very clear on the fact that it was a small job. I gave the details and size of the area over the phone. I was told that was not a problem, they do small jobs. However, they do not. The technician arrived on time for the estimate, but after looking at the job informed me that it would probably fall below their minimum price requirement. He said he would talk to the owner about it, and see what they could do. I never heard back from this company. Unprofessional.

Quite fine. Said would take three days; completed in two. Did all work, including cleaning up. Did a good job, neat and looks good.

I know I'm jumping on the band wagon, given all the positive reviews this company has received on Angie's list, when I say my experience with Construction Masters was truly fantastic. Tom arrived at my house for an estimate on a full kitchen remodel after I had already been given estimates by 2 other companies. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and a good listener - within 45 minutes of discussing pro's and con's of various layouts, styles and materials, Tom created a detailed computer visualization of what my new kitchen would look like, complete with some simple but striking design ideas he suggested to improve the look, flow and function of the new space. His bid price was fair, he wasn't pushy or salesman like and he gave me a realistic time frame in which the work would be completed - about 4 to 5 weeks. After generously spending more than an hour with me, answering all my questions, creating the computer drawing and discussing each step of the process (this was my first kitchen remodel), I felt extremely confident hiring Construction Masters for the project. Each step of the process, from demolition, to instillation of tile flooring, cabinets, granite countertops, backsplash and all the electrical and plumbing work that went with it, was done with a degree of efficiency, professionalism, care, attention to detail, and pride that I hadn't seen before. In addition, Tom, Moshe and the rest of their crew were very accommodating with some untraditional requests I had regarding my hood vent installation and lighting design, as well as a delay in some special order glass back-splash tile accents I wanted to be incorporated into the design at the last second. The job was done ON BUDGET, and UNDER SCHEDULE. The initial estimate of 4-5 weeks actually turned out to be only 2 1/2 weeks. That's right, in an industry traditionally riddled with delays and underestimated time schedules, this job was completed in HALF the time that was originally planned for. I credit Construction Masters' organization, efficiency, and professionalism for their completion so far ahead of schedule. These guys know what they are doing, and do what they say - with pride in their work and a smile on their face. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Wonderful experience! Moshe, the owner ,came to give me an estimate and was very creative in giving me ideas to make the place look nice while keeping the costs down. We were planing on selling the home after it was remodeled and did the first week it was on the market. The tile design in the master bathroom turned out beautifully and they were able to save the hardwood floors. There was always a crew working there every day and they cleaned up after themselves. Moshe was there every day making sure that things ran smoothly. Now, there's a man that takes pride in his business. You don't see that very often these days. I would highly recommend Construction Masters to anyone who is looking for a good contractor.

Tom was very professional and patient. He spent hours showing me different designs on the computer for my kitchen layout. It made a big difference being able to see how the cabinets would look and try different arrangements. It turned out beautifully and I am enjoying the pullout drawers that the cabinet maker suggested. The Construction Master team was very professional, always being careful not to make a mess. They covered the furniture while painting and moved it for me while installing the floors. Thank you Moshe for a beautiful job!

AMAZING! I have used Construction Masters several times in the past for my condo and other property's that I owned. This was the biggest job and what I hope to be the last since I am now 77 and retired and don't want to move again. First of all, I can't express enough what a difference it made having an experienced caring contractor come and give me an estimate and not a salesperson. Moshe had some excellent ideas that I would not have even dreamed of. He knocked down a wall to expand my kitchen and made me a beautiful island with a extended counter on one side for seating. He was very concerned about my comfort and was looking to make things easier for me in the future. I had back surgery and cannot bend down so he installed all pull-out drawers in the kitchen and made a wider than necessary space between the counters in case I might need a wheel chair in the future. He made me a beautiful shower with easy access and a beautiful shampoo notch. He told me that there is no extra charge for the fancy design of the tile or the bench so he sent me to a tile store and told me to ask for a women who was excellent at helping me match and find a perfect design. He also extended his contractor discount to me. He also explained that to install wood floors in some places and re-stain the hardwood floors to match existing flooring would be expensive and not look perfect and that I could just replace all the wood floors for the same price. They look beautiful! I have never in my life had such a fancy house. I feel like royalty. He removed rocks and bushes that I had around the house and installed pavers and cement all around the house giving me a path so that I wouldn't trip and can take out my trash cans. There are so much more that could write but the bottom line is, IF YOU WANT AN HONEST, RELIABLE CONTRACTOR THAT DOES EXCELLENT WORK, CALL MOSHE AT CONSTRUCTION MASTERS.

I met with 5 different contractors and he is the only one that refused to give me a written estimate. He gave me a price and said he would do it all for that price but he wasn't going to put it in writing until I agreed to go with him. That didn't work for me because it was very sketchy. It didn't sound right to me. It was a verbal price over the phone. He was very sweet, very nice and very polite when he first met with me but when he called me back, he was short and curt and said that he didn't give written estimates and that he wasn't going to do anything else for me until I agreed to go with him.

They performed an estimate on a house I was in escrow on. He seemed very honest and straightforward. Thank you!

It took more than a month but eventually I received an estimate for services from Moshe, the owner. Based on most of the reviews I'm sure that he does a great job, and that most who use its services will be more than happy. However, in my experience the company's level of responsiveness has been below what one would expect.

Moshe and his team were wonderful! Moshe was very professional. He went over all the options for our full home remodel. He even came to the store to pick out all if the appliances and he gave us great advice on everything. Afterwards he got to work right away and finished sooner than expected. My new modern home is exactly what I wanted it to be! If you want the best call Construction Masters.

Moshe was very responsive and when I cancelled he was very professional and understanding.

Never returned my call. Not sure why he is saying this is posted by a competitor, since he called me to discussed. Says it was because he doesn't work Saturdays so I am changing my review. I'd remove it but can't see an option.

Although I did not choose to have Construction Masters do my work ) because I went with the first company I spoke with), I was very pleased with the professionalism, punctuality and information that was provided to me by Tom Malki, Project Manager. I may contact them again in future if I choose to do some additional remodeling.

It was a large project, spanning 3 months. I was also expecting a baby at the time, which put added pressure on the project in terms of time. Moshe and his team (Eric) were excellent. They bid competitively versus other providers and I was most impressed with their commitment to finish the job before the baby came, which they did! They were extremely responsive throughout the project - my calls or texts were returned within an hour every time. They even referred us to their contacts to get contractor discounts on our bathroom tile, vanity and fixtures. They dealt with all the permits making it much less of a hassle for us. The work itself was excellent - the bathroom is beautiful, and we get many compliments that it looks like a high end luxury hotel bathroom. The vaulted ceilings were complex and they did a wonderful job and worked with us in terms of our vision, being flexible with suggestions on how we wanted the room to look and being patient with the structural engineering of the room. The baby room is gorgeous (custom paint job that looks so great) and our new walk-in master closet is perfect for us. They were at the jobsite mostly every day, or at least 2x per week. As I stated they were always reachable and very flexible and accommodating with changes we wanted and modifications to the plan. As with all contractors we did need to redo little things in the last few days (small details that needed adjustment or fixing - mostly painting issues) but they did these with no questions asked and were committed to finishing the job for us in a high quality way. Moshe and Eric were also extremely nice - we felt they became our friends and were very supportive of our situation with the baby on the way. I would highly recommend them. Design-wise it was mostly our vision (we had our own designer) and they executed it -but I know they also do design work. We were very happy with the end product and get many compliments on the house.

Moshe and Tom were great! FIrst of all - they are nice, good people, which is so important when you're working on a big project. I bought a new house and needed a bunch of renovation work. Construction Masters came in and were my GC. They didn't try and talk me into doing more than I needed and their prices were fair - not the cheapest, but they do great work so considering that, they're prices are really good. Moshe was great to work with - he's very on top of things and wants your house to be beautiful and feel good. He wanted everything to work and was invested in the project. That made me at ease, knowing that my Moshe really cared about the place and wasn't just trying to rush in and rush out. I think it's hard to find people who you would recommend to your friends, but I'd recommend these guys to anyone, and will definitely use them again!

I like him. He follows through with everything it's just that he needs to come back for the ramp but I am satisfied with his work.

Very good workproduct. Took a little longer than expected as we had issues with permits, but the vendor managed through the process. It was great to see the warranty was taken very seriously and we were able to get a few small fixes done about 6 month later without any problem.

Tom was thorough in his approach to reviewing the scope of work by verifying site conditions and asking many questions. I enjoyed talking with him and had confidence that he knew what he was doing. I received his bid in a timely manner and look forward to finalizing it by the end of the week.

We did not use them because we have decided to put our construction on hold.
