When I first contacted Brian we set a time and he was actually on time. Nice start. He gave me some honest advice on what I needed and didn't try to "up sell" his service. I have been around contractors and construction for over 30 years and am very picky about the work done at my house. He buffed the floors in 4 rooms and put several coats of finish on the floors. The end product looked GREAT. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised on how GREAT the floors looked. Just beautiful. Everyone who has seen them is blown away by how nice the floors look. I would recommend his service, and I don't do that that often.

Brian was able to adjust his schedule to perform repair sooner than originally planned. What initially appeared as a minor task soon turned into a larger than anticipated job. Instead of taking just a few hours, the project wound up taking more than 6 hours but the quoted cost stayed the same. Throughout the project, Brian was very careful to protect /cover fixtures, and prevent dust from entering the rest of the house. In the end, he was particular in cleaning up all remaining debris and sawdust. Was very satisfied in his work and may indeed use him again in the near future for preventative maintenance in balance of home.

Brian did an excellent job. He communicates very well via email and in person. He is a true professional, very patient and he gave precise and detailed answers to our questions. We knew exactly what steps would be next and a time frame for job completion.
He works by himself except when he had to move the furniture. He pays attention to details and his work reflects it.
Our friend, a general contractor, came over and was impressed by the floor installation done by Brian.
I would highly recommend him with no hesitation. He deserves an "A" in all rating categories.

In a personal email I just gave some ways that we can remedy this situation, but there is no need to list them all here. I am open to suggestions on how to make any future off more clear (i.e. use this word, or don’t use this word), because it is equally frustration on my end to have people frustrated at what they are receiving. The recoating is NOT a sand and refinish. It did not take out the dark stains from pet urine, or fill deep scratches, but it was also a quarter of the cost of a full refinish. It was just what we needed, and we feel we can go at least another 10 years with this. We can live with a few stains.
Brian was great to work with. We also had him help us move furniture out and back, and all went well. I would definitely recommend him.
