[member name removed] was pleasant and I wish her the best of luck with her floors. I do appreciate the nice words. That being said, it sounds like she was misled by the person she chose. She wanted to use the Glitza finish that was used decades ago. I told her do to regulations that same finish is no longer available. She ended up finding a contractor that said he could get the same stuff, but in reality it is just a different finish made by the same company (Many contractors use the brand… they just don’t use the same finish because they can’t). If she did somehow find someone using the same stuff it is because they imported it from somewhere and are breaking the law by using it in spite of the environmental cost and danger of using a volatile product. I imagine it should be hard to evaluate my cost to value since I did no work for her. She only knows how my price compares to others’ prices; not how my price for my quality compares to others.’Service Provider Response

First off thank you for the positive review even though this purchase wasn’t exactly what you thought. In a personal email I just gave some ways that we can remedy this situation, but there is no need to list them all here. I am open to suggestions on how to make any future off more clear (i.e. use this word, or don’t use this word), because it is equally frustration on my end to have people frustrated at what they are receiving. If in the end you really don’t want the service, I understand, and I would recommend requesting a refund. Thank you for your time BrianService Provider Response
I agree that this was an unfortunate sale which benefited neither of us. I only do the big deal (at cost) for reviews, and this is my first non-A. The big deal says in the details what it includes, but I understand how people could make assumptions at what it includes when they look at it quickly. I offered several services that I could do and a few of them would have even been at zero additional cost (I’m not sure if the customer looked at the last options, or gave up due to feeling burnt). One possibility was to re-coat all except one room for no extra cost. Another was to re-coat the entire floor for something like another $100 extra (due to the size of the floor). There was also an option to do a repair. I think any of these would have improved the floor. ~ I am still willing to do any of these services at any time if you change your mind.
