Vivian interacts well with me as a client and is very responsive to my likes and dislikes. She is punctual, reliable, makes suggestions when asked and is very knowledgeable about her craft. I would recommend her to anyone and will continue to employ her services. Her prices are very reasonable and her work is excellent.

Vivian is great. The pond was a lot of work to get rid of, plus having to haul the dirt in to fill the hole. We also built a small wall together. She is great to work with and is great about our random schedule. We plan to keep her until our yard is up and running!

I've been looking for a gardener/horticulturalist for eight years - not just a "mow and blow" crew. She gave me an estimate and completed the work perfectly. We're now going to discuss some plants to put in to replace the shrubs.

She is great company, professional and hard working. She listens carefully to what I want to accomplish and adds creativity and fun to the work.

The garden had not been maintained in a while, and I was very pleased with their work. Vivian is a delight to work with. The price was for the initial visit for a cumbersome job. They also later adjusted the watering system.

She is so wonderful! She does not use pesticides, she pulls weeds by hand, and it has been very cost-effective because the weeds stay gone longer. She is excellent.

Everything has worked out just fine. When I thought there was a problem, she came right out to take care of it. She does a great job and is always in a good mood, never complains. The best part is that she wants everything to be just right.

I hired Vivian to care for my newly landscaped yard after the landscaper up and went out of biz totally unexpectedly. Vivian stepped in and has done wonderfully for us. She comes monthly to care for the plants, keep up with weeds and pruning and maintain proper water levels with the irrigation system. I liked her work so much that I also asked her to create and maintain some containers to further beautify the spaces. Vivian is always on time and always willing to do the work as if the yard were her own. She takes it very personally and makes me feel she's my partner in maintaining a beautiful landscape. She's friendly and fun, too, which is just a further bonus. I have recommended her to several friends. She's a great find!

Vivian continues to do a fabulous job on all properties. She has made helpful recommendations which have enhanced the gardens enormously. She visits the yards several times a month, and does weekly maintenance in one instance. We can't say enough good things about her! She is totally reliable, always letting us know when she's coming, and provides written reports of the work she has done each time. She is easy to work with, very hard working and fair. She will tackle almost any job in the yard and is knowledgeable about plants, soil types and design. She is very willing to make helpful suggestions, shop for plants, transplant plants within the yard if necessary, and she has a wonderful, outgoing and pleasant personality. Vivian is a patient listener and truly wants to please the customer.

She started work alone for the first two visits and added a helper this last time. From the start we just hit it off because of her pleasant personality, honesty, and professionalism. Her work ethic is highly commendable. She works fast and cleaned up very well. My wife loves yard work and she is completely won over by Vivian.

Vivian and Brooke spent a good amount of time discussing what I wanted done and also describing how they work. They are not the "mow blow and go" variety of workers. They actually use their heads and are proactive. They communicate with me via email on things they have done and things they feel need extra attention. Since I travel a lot, this is really helpful. They are well organized and work hard--plus they are delightful women!

Our previous gardener fell gravely ill, & with no time to spare, we let our front & back yards become grossly overgrown with weeds & other undesirables. My husband found Vivian & Brooke on Angie's List, & they were here to quote the job the next day. When Vivian told me they weeded the "old-fashioned way" by pulling the pesky plants by hand rather than using a weed-whacker, I knew we found the right people for the job. By the end of our walk-through, I felt like Vivian & I were soul-mates, & I was really excited about the new friendship we were developing. A couple days later, we had a quote, & we scheduled them to begin work by the end of the week. Not only were they prompt, but they arrived a little earlier than promised, & stayed later than anticipated. I was amazed they finished EVERYTHING within 7 hours & billed us for less than their quote. Vivian & Brooke exceeded our expectations, & we are proud to give them a glowing report!!!

Vivian and Brooke are great to work with, understand what I want, and contribute their ideas on how best it can be done. They can do a wide range of work, from creative landscaping, to grunt clean up. They are very professional, on time, give clear cost estimates, and are cheery and pleasant to have around. I would recommend Soil & Green without reservation.

S & G is owned by Brooke Fletcher and Vivian Green. We have used Brooke for about two years for house-keeping and S & G is a new venture for her. She and Vivian have been looking after our yard for about three months. They are hard working, reliable and attentive to our wishes. Their cost is reasonable. I strongly recommend them.
