I had actually opted not to post a negative review about Santana after telling them I was going to, because I just didn’t think it was necessary to go that far. However they did something completely unnecessary today, so this review is now going up. I was unhappy with the quality of some of their work, and a 3 day job ended up taking nearly 4 weeks. The funny thing about contractors is that they literally do not care how they disrupt your life, your schedule, and how long they hang out in your living room. It is of zero consequence to them because they don’t actually think about others. But the constant ignoring of instructions. Disregarding of requests. And poor quality workmanship which required them to return multiple times, only to do *new* things completely wrong as well - was the last straw for me. I opted to fire them and find someone new. Which doubles my delays and also my costs. Despite the month long disruption to my life and my home, they demanded payment halfway through. Because of course they did. Contractors don’t care how much they inconvenience you. They still want to get paid immediately because they have to pay their subs. And I’m expected to fix that for them immediately “or else”. I initially told them that they would get paid when they finished the work but ultimately I had to fire them so I informed them that I would be paying them $1000 a week until the bill was paid. I made this very clear to multiple different people at the company. If they were going to take a month to finish a three day job, they can sit tight while I slowly pay their insane $5000 bill for work that should’ve totaled maybe $1800. Oh boy. One thing you should never due to contractor: treat them the way they treat you :-) Remember that review I wasn’t going to write because it just didn’t seem necessary to go that far? Well something completely unnecessary happened today:: these people had the audacity to contact some legal company who has begun calling me regarding serving legal papers. Keep in mind, I’ve paid every single week as I said I would, and the bill is already 75% paid. Nobody disappeared. Nobody refused to pay. Nobody was doing anything unethical or wrong. Yet they still made an aggressive move. Since you guys could not care less about delivering services in a reasonable amount of time nor actually following instructions you were given by text, voice and video… yet start threatening me with legal action for literally zero reason, the review goes up. You were always going to get paid in full. You weren’t always going to have a bad review sitting online for eternity. Smart move.

The owner listened to the details of the issue.  He confirmed he would have a tech out on site in 15 minutes.  Wallace arrived with a smile!  He again confirmed with the tenants and myself what the overall issues were and began troubleshooting.  He systematically went through troubleshooting keeping myself and the tenant in the loop.  Once the issue was found, He needed to take the power down in the suite for a moment.  and problem was resolved.  Fuses needed to be replaced in the main breaker for the suite outside the building.  
SANTANA is now our preferred vendor for Electricians.  Thank you Wallace!

Eddie and Wallis always how up early, work fast, and are very skilled. We have used Santana for several years for smaller projects at our house and rental. This latest was the remodel of an existing patio room to a family room, as well as other work in the existing structure and landscape lighting.

We put a new smoke alarm in one of the units of our apartment building, and it was not functioning. I called an electrician and he spent 4 ½ hours here tracking down the problem, and somewhere along the line, the circuit for our smoke alarms got tied into a ceiling fan. He was able to fix that, and what surprised me the most was the cost. I was pleasantly surprised at the $275 he charged. They were all very efficient. If you call them and need an electrician the electrician they send will call on his way, and upon arrival. They are licensed by the state.
