A-1 Landscaping & Yard Maintenance

Mike installed hybrid Bermuda sod when promised. He was very helpful in making the decision to change to hybrid Bermuda. Clean up by his crew was great. its been about a month and the grass is doing very well.

A-1 landscaping worked very well on my sprinkler repairs. The boss Mike explained clearly on what they would repair and replace. Amilcar did an excellent work, checked everything, was very careful and detailed, and did what I asked. He was the best that I ever worked with. I highly recommend A-1 landscaping, even though they are a little expansive. I highly recommend Amilcar without any reservations.

They called very early in the morning, tried to confirm an appointment, but then they failed to show up. I tried to contact them and they did not return my calls. I had also previously tried to contact them in the spring and this is the second time that they didn't show up

I think all the 4-5 stars A1 landscape have are BS. I paid him top dollar because I want it done right. A1 was far far from it!!! Asked for some DG installed in 2 areas. MISTAKE!! Let him know and said he would stop by. Ghosted us all weekend. Told him want half the money back. He said he would refund $500 of the $2500. Sucks but, ok. Lied. No refund. I was told at a young age, you do a good job, 2-3 peeps hear about it. You do a bad job, 10-20 hear about it. So if I save 8-10 from getting burned ill fell better about getting- you know what!! Gota go dig it out.

Mike and his crew were great. He listened to what I wanted and worked with me to get it achieved. Reliable, dependable, and gets the job done.

Everything to date has met expectations - prompt, efficient, quality work was done.

I had a cracked sprinkler pipe. Mike sent an unqualified technician who, without getting on his knees or looking closely, decided my valves were old and leaking and that was the problem. So they replaced my five valves but the next day the area was more flooded than ever. They returned to fix the pipe I had said originally needed repair but the unqualified tech messed up the wiring on the valves so the sprinklers did not even work properly. Finally, a qualified tech came and cleaned up the mess but one zone would no longer work, the zone that the unqualified tech repaired the pipe in. The qualified tech said he believed during the repair a rock got in the pipe and was blocking the water from getting through, so I had one zone now not working. And, my valve still leaked which the qualified tech said is because it is too low compared to the heads in its zone. So now I still have leaking valves even though they replace them, but I also have one zone not working because the tech allowed a rock into the pipe. And Mike will not send anyone back out to get my system back working. I was diagnosed with a problem (by someone unqualified) that was far more costly than the work that needed to be done, and now I have an entire zone that does not work because of the work done. And the unqualified tech made a huge mess all around my property, mud all up the side of my house he did not clean off, left a giant hole, left trash around my property, and decided to use a sentimental old watering can to dig out mud and water, ruining the watering can! I am now left with a huge mess and a sprinkler system that does not work so will have to hire someone else to fix the problems they created.

A-1 has maintained our yard for quite a few years now. They do an excellent job. They have trimmed my shrubbery as needed without being asked. They also do small clean-up jobs without being asked. So, when it came to putting in my patio, I knew I hired the right people. They have been considerate of my plants and were careful in moving an old whisky barrel that's falling apart! I want to fix it up. Mr. Singh put up with what was supposed to be a simple repair job to a whole new patio and landscaping around the patio! I certainly have no complaints with A-1 Landscaping.

He did a good job but he quoted me a very high price for a follow up project and I said No. The price he charged for today was OK but the project would have been way too expensive.

I may switch from my regular gardener to have him do the maintenance from now on.

Removed leaves as promised. Yard is much cleaner now.

Very good service. Arrived as scheduled and completed work in a timely manner.

I did not do any comparisons for the price as A-1 was able to start & complete in 3 days.
