They worked with me from a far and coordinated everything; they made sure things happened quickly and they fixed it right away. I didn't see the work but the handyman that works with me went there and said they did a beautiful job.

Everything was fine. They were prompt and thorough with the estimate. However, it came down to the price and we decided not to use them.

They were very good. They were very efficient. They had to change the order once, but I don't think it was their fault. When they came to install it, it took a day and a half because it was a substantial area. There was some construction that had to be done as well to put those doors in because they were different from the doors before. I think that required some logistical ability. I was surprised at how quick they were. It worked out very well. They were very good. They really cleaned up after themselves well. They were very good at getting here punctually. They didn't have to come back out to do any re-work or anything.

The owner came out and gave me the price which included them working with and paying for the city inspection which was $487 in Hayward. Any time I had questions I called and got answers right away. They were excellent to work with. I'm very happy with the door and screen. I have two full window door panels with no screen obstructing the view. The room is now flooded with light and I can see my back yard, flowers and birds. Totally recommend them. I had to guess at the price rating since I have no experience with different prices. I was looking for quality not just the cheapest price. I would definitely use them again.

West Coast Windows is outstanding. I found them as they were the highest rated on Angie's List. Richard personally comes to your home to inspect, estimate and talk about your options. Very Important: Richard is extremely knowledgable and does not believe in pressuring the client, this was huge for us. His staff is also very nice, knowledgable and I could trust them in our home. I definitely recommend using their services and in fact am using their services again in July 2012 for a window replacement.

West Coast was good from start to finish on every phase of the job. They knew when the new materials would show up, they scheduled with us appropriately, spent just the amount of time on the job that they said they would. It all went fine. They helped us understand the tax credits and how the materials would satisfy the town home association's rules.

I called West Coast and spoke to Kelly about issues we were having with our windows - we bought our house about 7 years ago and some of the windows were failing. Kelly was wonderful - she told me how to find the manufacturer of the window, and told me what I needed to do to get it repaired under warranty. Given that this resulted in no business for her, I was really impressed and would definitely call West Coast if we needed new windows!

Both experiences were great. Richard took a lot of time explaining options and providing guidance on matching the exterior colors in the condo complex. Kelly and Mallory provided outstanding support from the office and the installation went smoothly. The installation team was on time and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. This company provides outstanding and professional service.

The service man was courteous, helpful, and professional, and the new parts work perfectly.

We contacted the company regarding replacement of our front door and installation of a sliding door. The owner came to our home and gave a great presentation. He stated he'd get back to us with an estimate. However, it's been over two weeks since he was here and we have yet to hear from the company. We're assuming they aren't interested in the job and have contacted other vendors.

Called because I needed repair work done on our sliding glass doors. The original installer is no longer in business and have not been able to find anyone to do the work. Spoke with Kelly and she was able to find the manufacturer and a local rep. She did all of this simply to help me out. West Coast has no relationship with the manufacturer and can't even order parts or do the repairs, but Kelly helped me find someone that could. Looking forward, if we need any window work done I'll be calling West Coast. Kelly at West Coast was courteous and very helpful.

Overall West Coast Windows was easy to work with and highly professional. From the start of the project Richard, who heads the company, was very helpful and knowledgable about his product, methods of installation, and the window industry in general. He definitely put me at ease and gave me confidence that he and his firm had the best product in Anlin and wouid stand behind it once the job was completed. Also, West Coast is locally located and the showroom is readily accessible. Following my interviews with about six other competitor firms I selected West Coast Windows because the others offered sometimes less costly, but inferior products: less thickness in the vinyl, less metalic reinforcement in the structure, not as good environmental rating of the glass for heat transfer, and fewer choices for options like grids and safety latches. Also, many of the other sales people were less informed on the installation process and post-sales follow-up. Additionally, West Coast was familar with the permit process, which helped immensely in dealing with city officials. The day of installing the window went smoothly with on-time arrival of the crew, easy contact between the crew and the central office on any questions, and real devotion to the task. They were coordinated in getting the widows installed along with the window sills, completing the project on time and will minimum clean-up. We liked them; the owner was very personable and did a great job. The windows look awesome and we are happy. Two guys came out and got it done in four hours. They were a little pricey and there was a ten percent off for being an Angie's List customer. He did not give me that discount because he said he had already given me ten percent off for a multiple window discount. That is the only negative thing in the whole experience. They were there within twenty minutes of when they said they would be there. The guys knew what they were doing and they were very professional.

West Coast Windows and Doors installed new windows in our 4-unit condominium building. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with them, especially considering the problems our homeowners association was confronting. The saga began in July 2007, when new windows (not the work of West Coast) were installed in our building during the conversion / renovation process and prior to any of the existing owners purchasing their units. We first called Richard in March 2010 when we discovered that the upstairs windows were leaking. Richard came to our building and did a full inspection, at no charge, never expecting that we would have to replace relatively new windows. Through Richard's careful and attentive review of the matter, he helped us start asking the right questions and directed us to our construction defect expert, John Schneider from All About Homes, whose inspection revealed that all the windows in our building were improperly installed. Richard was kind enough to answer questions and respond to emails during our "quest" to receive a settlement from the contractor who incorrectly installed the windows. Richard was always available and responsive to our questions even though he never expected to receive a contract to install new windows. In November 2010, we eventually did receive a settlement from the contractor who incorrectly installed the windows and, of course, asked West Coast to replace the windows. West Coast came back out, took all of the measurements, applied for the permit, and did everything correctly and according to code. The installers were excellent -- highly skilled, professional, considerate, and clean! Richard and Kelly followed up at each step of the way, making sure things were going according to plan. I really cannot say enough about this company. I recommend them without hesitation.

I got comparable estimates from 3 quality companies. Richard, the company owner, seemed to provide the most complete information about the requirements and considerations of the job, i.e., impact on existing window treatments, city code requirements that made it necessary to use a slightly different product on 2 of the smaller windows. Furthermore, he did not seem to have a "hidden agenda" whereby he would make comments that would disparage another company's products. He did honestly explain why he recommended Anlin windows for my situation. West Coast povided me with personalized service. I had the additional requirements that my existing wired alarm system would need to be reconnected and I was concerned about my cats. The installers did a good job. They were neat, friendly, competent and sensitive to my concern that we make the process as easy as possible on my cats (transferring from one room to another). I was having a difficult time communicating with several alarm companies in my effort to determine whether to change companies or stay with my current company. I was very surprised to find that the salespeople did not seem to understand the requirements to maintain the warranties on the new doors and windows. Furthermore, in both cases, the plan was to place visible connectors on my new windows. Richard communicated directly with the alarm company that I selected and arranged for his installer to add wire so that the connections could be made at the top of the windows (for warranty) and in such a way that the connections would not be visible. After the installation, I was not satisfied with how one of the door handles was working. Richard personally came out the next day and adjusted it. I am very happy with the results. I knew that the windows would look great but I did not realize how much quieter my house would be. I wish I had done this years ago.

I used them before at an in-law?s house that was being refurbished so I decided to use them on my own home as well. The owner came out for the quote, he was very personable, and he was more thorough than the other companies that came out.

Richard Beil found the perfect fit to allow me to replace a very old 3-panel sliding door with a beautiful new door without making a change to the opening (to the balcony in my condo). Kelly made the installation scheduling very easy and the actual installation went very smoothly. The installers left the condo and outside work area immaculate. I chose West Coast Windows & Doors due to recommendations on Angie's List and I was very pleased with the work and customer service.

The experience went very well. They had a great crew. They were very fast and professional. They came up with a solution to a problem that I had, by making the window much larger and nicer. I received some estimates that were higher.

I called West Coast for information. The sent out a small book that they have put together on the various options for windows. This helped get me ready to make a decision. I visited their shop and Kelly was fantastic. She helped me understand the difference between windows and we landed on Anlin. Overall installation was was great. Showed up on time for installation, with permits and completed the job when they promised. Cleaned everything up.

They were absolutely wonderful. I was delighted with the service; I also enjoyed the employees I dealt with.
