I liked them. They were very professional, the estimate was nice, and they got back to me right away. They took the old door away and they got everything done in one day. The price was very good.

The previous owner of the house converted garage into a living space by demo'ed out the garage door and built an exterior wall. We need the garage more than we need the living space. So, we decided to convert it back. To save cost, we did the demo of the exterior wall and provided an outlet for the operator. Contra Costa Door installed new tracks, new door, and new operator. The estimator "Bab" did a great job on working with me figuring out the components that will meet my needs. When I told him that I want to keep the price under a certain budget, he gave me multiple options to get the price down to my level. Because we are buliding the rough opening, Bab came out the day before and verified the opening to ensure the installation will go smoothly. The installer came on time and got everything done in 3 1/2 hours. Everyone at Contra Costa that I talked to was curteous and professional. I would recommend them to my friends.

Contra Costa Door were very responsive to my request for an estimate to replace my two garage doors with modern roll-up doors and the estimator came quickly to my house and arrived on time. He spend a lot of time evaluating my situation, which was quite difficult because of the lack of clearance in the two small garages. He took detailed measurements and explained the challenges and compromises that would be required. I was impressed with the work considering it was a free estimate. Brian was quick with estimates for different door options and was able to get my order accelerated because there was a special order going to the factory. The installers showed up on time and did excellent work with the difficult installation. The doors worked beautifully and look great. I'm really pleased with the results and the price considering how difficult the work was.

They were very responsive. There was confusion with the ordered and the delivered door, but it was taken care of them. I will use their services in future.

The torsion spring which helps lift the garage door snapped in half. The door opener still worked but was under greater strain to open the door. My husband usually replaces things like this but when he read online that it could be dangerous without the right tools and some experience he decided to call a professional. They came out the day we called and they completed the job within a half hour with courteous service. I would definitely use them again.

This company was great, from the initial repair people, to the people in the showroom, to the installation people. The company was very knowledgeable about their product, and I felt they were very honest. They really seemed to know what they were doing. We felt very comfortable with them in all our aspects in dealing with them. Their prices are also very good. I will only use them in the future, if the need ever arises, and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The replacement of our old, heavy, wooden garage door with a new steel door was completed smoothly and efficiently. I visited the showroom where the salesperson helped me decide among the various door and opener models, and wrote up a preliminary estimate. Next an installer visited my home to take final measurements and confirm that there would be no installation problems. Finally the installer came and completed the removal of my old door and installation of the new one. The entire process from my initial showroom visit to the completed installation took only a week. The new door is such an improvement over our old one.

Call to CC Doors was answered promptly and professionally; referred to service manager who scheduled appointment. Technician arrived on time and explained what he would do. He worked efficiently and explained the process to me as he went. I have little experience with such things, so had several questions which he answered clearly and simply. His time estimate was spot on. He was thorough, professional and very helpful.

They did a super job. Communicated immediately and clearly from start to finish, delivered exactly what they had promised, and did a superior job. I would definitely use them again--hassle free!

I have two old style, scissor-type garage doors which had not been serviced in 20+ years because they worked fine, until one on the springs snapped. I called CCD for a "second opinion" after the first technician (also a highly-rated Angie's List firm) said he would/could not work on the doors because the hardware on the doors was too old and had to be replaced at a cost of $770. The first thing the tech from CCD said was: "They don't make them like this any more; you can't get steel of this quality." He then replaced 4 -20+ year old springs, oiled and lubed things, made some adjustments, explained how things work (I could care less!) -- and the doors work fine. Total cost: $270 vs. $770 quoted from the first tech.

On a Friday afternoon, I called to inquire about having a service person come out to replace broken garage door springs. I gave Roger my address, and he said they had made repairs to the opener motor in 1987. Then he said he could have a truck here in one hour. The phone estimate was $320. Within 30 minutes, the service person, Jose, arrived and made the repairs in about another 30 minutes. Great job!

Excellent work, simple-to-work, silent, elegant door installed. My Dad is 87 years old and has short term memory loss. He thought he had paid the company when he had not. Installer was very polite and respectful, left to let my father figure out his checkbook and mail in the check, which we did the same day. Highly recommend!

Contra Costa Door was the company everyone recommended. The showroom has models of various doors and openers, so it was easy to select my new garage door. Friends advised getting an insulated door. The installation went smoothly, and the product and workmanship are excellent; these employees are professionals. My door opens so quietly, I initially had to look because I was used to a noisy door.

They came out when promised. They were professional and knew exactly what to do. They even adjusted my door more than I had asked for, which was a nice bonus. They were great.

THE REPAIR TECHNICIAN WAS HELPFUL AND REPAIRED DOOR SO THAT IT NOW WORKS GREAT. HE WAS QUITE LATE FROM THE APPOINTMENT TIME DUE TO TRAFFIC PROBLEMS, BUT WE DID GET AN APPOINTMENT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER CALLING THEM.

THE CREW THAT WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. FROM THE ONES THAT TOOK OUR FIRST CALL TO THE CREW THAT CAME OUT TO INSTALL THE NEW DOOR. THEY WERE ON TIME AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE.
