 + -1 moreThey're excellent. I have great confidence in them. They are highly recommended. The reason we go to them is because they're honest, they have integrity, they are fair in their pricing, and when you are a repeat customer they go above and beyond. A couple of times they have bailed us out of difficult situations. A couple of times they didn't even charge just as a service to us. I've recommended them to a number of people. It's a small shop but they do a really nice job.
Description of Work: We had a timing belt that I needed to have replaced in one of the cars.

Description of Work: Had my car serviced and checked over. They said I needed a front brake and transmission fluid change. I went with there suggestions. Had an issue in that they had to perform 3 transmission fluid services to get "clear" liquid, which accounted for an additional $200 in unexpected cost. This was the reasoning for the B score on price.

 + -1 moreThey were very conscience albeit it did take weeks to get her back but they did take good care of her. She was not left totally road ready but the work they did was excellent and overall I was very pleased. They did a pretty thorough job replacing many old parts and making her smog ready for the road.
Description of Work: They looked over my "new" old RV to make it road worthy.

Description of Work: I had a full service tune up on my van. It had over 100k miles on it so it was due. When I called to make an appointment, John, the owner, went over everything in detail of what he would recommend doing and approximately what it would cost. He was extremely thorough and very friendly. On the day of my appointment they were prompt and courteous checking me in and they even gave me a ride to work. They expected my van to be done that day but it needed a part they couldn't get until the next day. It took longer than originally quoted, but I couldn't even ding them for that because they were extremely apologectic about it. When it was done, John again went over in detail what they did to the car and gave me a discount for being a first time customer and being a part of a local credit union. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that was done. I will most definitely be going back for future automotive needs!

 + -1 moreSee Above and DO use Circle Automotive for all your auto repair needs. DON'T use a dealer for ANY auto repair needs. DO use a dealer to purchase your car - which is what their specialty is. I will ALWAYS go to Circle Automotive first from here on out!
Description of Work: Had taken the car to a dealer to check on various repairs. They found front brakes and rotors needed repaired/turned - I authorized that work there. They also said there was a bent wheel and asked for $250 to replace that. I said it was absurd and went to the internet and found a wheel for $60.00 - ordered the wheel. It gets better, keep reading. The dealer said they found a coolant leak while doing the brakes. Said they didn't have time to check it out. Talked with the service clerk, she said, I need my loaner car back, this will take about 10 days. I said, "Well, can't you tell me what's wrong and how much?" She replied, "Well, they can't even look at it for at least 10 days, but in checking, you're looking at $600 to $1,000 depending." I said, "I'll bring your loaner back and pick up my car - drive it while checking coolant every day." I picked up the car and called Circle Automotive, asking them if they could diagnose today. They said, "Sure! Bring it in and we'll know within the hour." A friend picked me up and we went to lunch while waiting. Circle Automotive called within the hour, and said, "It's a hose and a T-fitting. It'll be $175 plus tax." I said "Great! Can you do it today?" The reply was, "Sure, it'll take about 1 1/2 hours." My friend and I did a little shopping (with a tiny bit of the money I'd saved) and I picked up the car at the appointed time. Circle Auto was true to their word and I smiled all the way home!

 + -1 moreThey were having difficulty sourcing the part, they said. I said that I could have the part delivered to them within three days. They said that that option was unacceptable to them. They could not "trust" any part that I was able to source. A week passes and after six to eight phone call and no progress, I called a tow truck take it elsewhere. That is when they gave me a quote - $2355 using a re-manufactured part. They obviously inflated the price of the part over 100%. The tow truck took it to European Motors in Fresno. They did the work for less than $400. I bought the part for $475. $875 and three days I'm back on the road. (This not count the $200.00 in rental car fees that I racked up while waiting for Circle Motors to do something -- anything!!) Unless you have a Chevy, Ford or Toyota, you better stay away from Circle Motors !!
Description of Work: I had my Saab towed here when the turbocharger blew. They said, "No problem" - they would look at it the next day. One day turned to three. Still no word.
